
I Am Enough - Slaying Imposter Syndrome
This meditation is a deep dive into the underlying root cause of feeling "not enough" We enter the field of the superconscious to heal the wound and transform doubt into confidence. Perfect for entrepreneurs who are feeling stuck and want to make a bigger impact in the world.

Today's meditation is called Slaying the Impostor Syndrome.
I love this topic because it really gets to the root of so many issues that are holding us back,
That are anchoring us in limitation.
It is the underlying pattern that keeps us playing small.
And so today we're going to go deep inside and pull out the roots of Impostor Syndrome so that we can expand,
Grow and feel joy and freedom and fulfilment without the cycle of self-doubt and procrastination and sabotage.
So if you're ready to slay the Impostor Syndrome,
Gently take a deep breath,
Find yourself in a comfortable position and allow your eyes to gently close.
I like to close my eyes because it really helps me to centre,
To go inwards and part of the Impostor Syndrome is the hypervigilance of looking externally for approval and safety and acceptance.
So let us go on an inward journey to find that part of us that knows that we are of value,
Of worth,
We are unique and we deserve to be here,
We have the right to be here as our individual selves,
Doing what we love to do and sharing it with whoever it may help.
So if you do feel comfortable,
Gently close your eyes and follow your breath as it enters through your nose,
Down the windpipe and into the lungs.
Take yourself further inward with every breath.
It is as though we are going to silence the outside world a little bit and go to a place that is still and quiet and wise and resourceful.
For it is in this quiet place that we find all the tools and resources that will truly make us feel safe,
To release what it is that we no longer need.
Taking another deep breath in and just allowing your body to relax with every breath,
Allowing your mind to choose whether it wants to be engaged in the process and to observe the process or whether it wishes to shut down or continue thinking about everyday things.
We are not here to engage the conscious mind today,
We are looking at the unconscious and super conscious parts of us.
So allowing yourself to relax,
Take the pressure off,
Allow yourself to go deeper with every breath,
Deeper into relaxation,
Allowing your body to release tension,
To release stress,
To release anxiety.
Relaxing and expanding,
Softening with every breath.
And we are going to imagine that with every breath that we go down,
Down,
Down to the deeper layers of our consciousness,
Beyond the conscious mind,
Which only accounts for about 5% of what is really going on for us.
What is driving us is around 95% of us which is unconscious.
The patterns,
Programming,
Conditioning,
Beliefs are what are really running the show.
And so with the next breath we are going to imagine we are walking down a flight of beautiful steps,
Your internal steps.
And so find yourself at the top of a staircase of 10 steps.
And with the next breath imagine that you are walking down to step number 9.
And then taking a breath in and walking down to step number 8.
Continuing with each breath to go down one step.
And as you go down each step there is a deeper layer of relaxation,
A deeper layer of safety,
Of relief.
That you don't have to control everything.
That you can let your body relax and receive the support that this meditation will bring you.
Moving further down to step number 5.
Continuing down and feeling more and more relaxed with every breath and every step.
Moving down to step 4.
Feeling even more relaxed and maybe even slightly curious.
Maybe even a slight sense of excitement about what you might find here in your unconscious.
Stepping down to step 3 and 2 and then pausing as you step down to the last step number 1.
We are now going to step onto the landing knowing that as we do so we are entering the realms of the super consciousness.
And as you step onto the landing you notice that there is a beautiful feeling here.
It is a place of safety,
A place of nourishment,
A place of wisdom.
We are now going to be guided to a place where you can have a ceremony.
For some of you it may be a beautiful forest with a campfire.
For others it may be a beautiful tropical beach.
For others perhaps a beautiful mountain.
Allow this place to come from within you now.
A place that is safe and sacred for you.
And allow yourself to be there now.
See the surroundings.
Immerse yourself in the vision of this sacred place within you.
It is a place that is arising so that you can best heal in a place of safety.
So finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down in your sacred place.
Feel the nourishment and support.
Perhaps you can feel a light breeze on your face or a warm sun.
Perhaps there are sounds of beautiful birds or an ocean or trees leaves rustling in a breeze.
Feel your surroundings with all your senses and feel safe as we explore the deep roots of Impostor Syndrome.
The underlying theme of Impostor Syndrome is a feeling of I'm not enough.
There is a feeling of scarcity or lack.
There is a feeling that somehow you're fundamentally flawed.
There is a feeling that something is missing and that you are always striving to find it in order to feel safe and confident.
We're tapping into that part of you now that is holding the memory of where you first created this untruth that you are not enough.
Deeply breathing now into that place.
It may be a memory.
It may be a word.
You may feel it in your body as pain or tension.
Allow your super consciousness to guide you there now.
And perhaps it's just a sensation or a knowing.
It's all perfect and no two one of you will be the same or see the same.
Gently breathing into that moment.
It may be in this lifetime where you first took on the belief that you are not enough.
Perhaps it was in early childhood or in the womb or in a past life and you were carrying through the memory into this life or a combination of all of those things.
We ask now that you be taken back to the very first moment,
The first time where you felt that there was something missing in you.
Something not quite right.
Something less than.
And allow yourself to observe without being completely in the moment,
Without having to experience any trauma.
Observing it from a distance with compassion and wisdom.
When we work in the super consciousness,
It is not about reliving pain or struggle.
It is about learning and growth,
Expansion,
Aha moments.
Allowing yourself to observe this moment now.
Was it a word?
Was someone speaking to you?
Was it an action?
Did you make a mistake?
And you took this on board because of all the reactions of people around you.
What was it that triggered this feeling of it is not safe to be me?
That I need to be more or do more in order to feel safe?
Where did you first begin to doubt yourself?
Perhaps it was here in this moment that you started to attribute your success to external factors.
Perhaps maybe my mum was happy with me.
She smiled at me.
Perhaps the first time you really felt her approval was when you got a good mark at school.
Or you created something and she said job well done.
Perhaps it was some other significant person in your life.
Someone you respected and wanted attention from.
And it was something that you did or said that created a reaction from them that was pleasing and nurturing.
And so you repeated that pattern over and over again.
Perhaps you were helping someone and you felt their appreciation and so you took on the belief that the more I do,
The more I help,
The more I will feel safe and enough.
Perhaps this is when you started to create unrealistic expectations for yourself.
Perhaps this is where you decided that if I work harder,
I will feel more.
I will feel enough.
Perhaps this is where you created the belief that the more I learn,
The more valuable I will be.
Perhaps this is where I decided that it's better to do things on my own so that I can work really hard and get it perfected.
Perfectionism.
Did this become your haven?
Did this become your armour for feeling safe and worthy?
Breathing into that now and actually checking in with yourself.
Is this serving me anymore?
Are any of these patterns of perfectionism?
Fear of failure,
Limitation,
Playing small.
Fear of other people's judgement.
Is any of this really helping me right now?
And if the answer is no,
Then our next question is,
Am I ready to let it go?
Why am I still holding on?
How is it serving me?
And some of those answers may be that I feel safe.
It's just easier.
And then ask yourself,
What am I missing out on by keeping locked in these patterns of not enough?
Overachieving,
Over-learning,
Hyper-vigilism,
Self-sabotage,
Fear of judgement,
Fear of authority.
What am I missing out on?
And now if you're ready to choose,
To choose what you would like to give up,
What pattern would you like to let go of?
We are going to do that now.
Together we are going to say some releases and you can say them out loud or internally in your mind.
And we'll start with the feeling of not enough.
And so repeating after me,
I let go of all the words,
The memories,
The visions that I have held onto to hold the pattern of I am not enough in place.
I let go of any memories that told me I was not enough,
Of any words that told me I was not enough,
Of any actions that told me I was not enough.
I release them now and know that they are not my truth.
Breathing in and releasing on the out-breath and letting it go.
Great,
Perfect.
Breathe in again and let go.
And now just saying after me,
I let go of all the patterns that I created to become enough.
I let go of any patterns of perfectionism,
Of over-learning,
Of needing to feel more qualified,
The patterns of negative self-talk,
The patterns of setting up unrealistic expectations.
I release all patterns that I put in place that were holding the I am not enough pattern.
And I release them now through all time,
Space and dimensions.
Breathing in and releasing on the out-breath.
Breathing in again and release.
And now we are going to break any contracts that we made with ourselves or with anybody else to keep small in order to feel safe.
And so repeating after me and say I now break any contracts that I have ever made with myself or any other being or person to stay small,
To stay limited,
To perpetuate the belief that I am not enough.
I break this contract now through all time,
Space and dimensions.
So be it.
And breathing in and just breathing back up out through the top of your head and release.
Excellent.
And now as I always like to do,
Check within to see if there is any other heaviness around this.
Check in with your inner child.
How is she feeling?
How is he feeling?
And then if they are happy,
We are going to move on and we are going to create some new beliefs,
Some new programs.
And we are going to use our voice to implement them as well.
Firstly we are going to think of a time which will give us positive reinforcement.
Where we felt enough,
When we succeeded at something and we felt good about it.
And not because someone else external to us said it was good,
But because we felt good about it.
Perhaps you created something.
Maybe it was a toy.
Maybe you cooked something or wrote something and you felt good about it before you showed it to anybody.
You felt good and you felt proud and you felt it was perfect.
And just bringing up those feelings of contentment,
Of confidence,
Of satisfaction within you.
Being fueled by you,
Created by you.
This feeling of nurturing,
Satisfaction,
Acceptance.
Loving yourself,
Proud of yourself.
Bringing that all up to the surface now.
As we say these words together.
I am enough.
I was always enough.
I will always be enough.
I am enough.
I don't need to know everything to feel safe and valuable.
My value and worth is not connected to how hard I work.
I am valuable.
I am worthy just as I am.
My value and worth is not connected to perfection.
I am valuable.
I am worthy just as I am.
It is safe to fail.
It is safe to be curious.
It is safe to be me.
It is safe to make mistakes.
It is safe to be me.
It is safe to be successful.
It is safe to be me.
I am not the judgement of others.
I am me.
I am me.
I am my own unique person and I am enough.
Breathing that in and just allowing your body to absorb that,
Your cells to absorb it.
Infuse your body with that feeling of satisfaction,
Acceptance,
Contentment,
Confidence,
Assurity,
Trust,
Courage,
Faith and trust that you are enough.
And now wherever you are in your safe place,
I want you to imagine that there is a beautiful light surrounding you and as you breathe it is now being absorbed into your body.
And this is more of you.
This is drawing in more and recognising more of your super consciousness.
Allowing it to fill the spaces from where we released the old pattern and replacing it with the purity and light of your perfection and imperfection,
Your skills,
Your uniqueness,
Your gifts,
Your beauty,
Your courage,
Your strength.
You are amazing.
Breathe it in and know that you are enough.
And then very gently we are going to make our way back up and bringing all of that wisdom,
Acceptance,
Appreciation with us.
As you turn you see the landing that you started upon and you make your way back to the first step.
Climbing up to the second step and the third step.
And as you reach step number four you start to feel more of your body and be aware more of your body sitting there in the room.
Coming up step five and six and seven and you feel your skin tingling,
Your fingers and toes.
Feel your head on your shoulders.
Coming up to step seven,
Eight and now you can roll your shoulders and really feel your body.
Feeling yourself supported by the chair or the floor or the bed that you are lying upon.
And as you come to step number ten you feel yourself feeling quite vibrant and alert.
And then when you are ready you can open your eyes and come back fully centred,
Revived and assured in the knowing that you are enough.
And gently opening your eyes and reorientating yourself back into the room.
