Welcome to today's meditation,

Grounded,

Strong and connected.

Getting yourself into a comfortable position with your spine straight as comfortable and your feet flat on the floor and your hands resting gently on your legs with the palms facing upwards.

When you're ready,

Gently closing your eyes and drawing your attention inwards.

Becoming aware of your breath and as you do this,

You'll allow yourself to focus more on the body.

Breathing in,

Nurturing,

Calming,

Relaxing energy and as you release letting go any anxiety,

Stress,

Busyness,

Worry,

Pain.

Breathing in,

Gently calming and relaxing energy and breathing out anything that you no longer need.

Continuing to focus on the breath,

Slowing it down,

Deepening it and with every breath softening the body,

Gently dropping the shoulders,

The jaw,

Relaxing with every breath going deeper and deeper into the body.

Becoming aware of your feet on the floor and your body on the chair,

Noticing that the floor is supporting you and the chair is supporting feeling your legs touching the chair.

Perhaps the back of the chair is supporting you.

Notice this support and just relax into it.

Continue to breathe,

Relaxing with every breath,

Going deeper now and in your mind's eye,

Taking yourself to a special place in nature,

A place that has a beautiful clearing where you can lay down upon the earth.

Perhaps it is a beautiful grassy field with luscious thick grass.

Sit down upon the grass and feel it.

Is it warm or cool to the touch?

Is the ground firm or soft?

Lay down now upon the ground and perhaps for some of you it might be a sandy beach.

Lying down now and stretching out your arms with the palms facing upwards,

With your eyes shut and sink into the earth.

With the next breath allow your body just to feel a little heavier and let the earth take the weight of your body and as you do this allow your body to be supported,

To let go of the belief that you are the only one that can do this,

That you have to get it all right,

That no one else can do it as good as you.

Let all of that go for this moment.

Relax and sink into the earth.

Let the earth hold you in a way that is supportive and nurturing and as you breathe in and out you allow any worries and any anxiety to drift out of the body and into the earth.

On the exhale let go of any stress,

Any pain,

Any worry or negative thoughts breathe it out and into the earth.

Very good and then as you feel the body releasing become aware of the strength and support of Mother Nature.

Connecting to the strength of the mountains,

Connecting to the vastness of the oceans,

The beautiful deep blue of an Australian sky,

Feeling the warmth of the sun on your face,

Warming your body,

Feeling the energy of water as it flows around the earth,

Becoming connected and at one with all that that is.

Feel the abundance of Mother Nature and feel the trust that nature has in the earth.

The sun comes up and the sun goes down.

Cycles of seasons come and go.

No efforting or force or worry makes it happen.

Connect with the flow of nature.

Connect with the abundance of nature.

Allow yourself to be supported by this vastness of abundance,

Of caring,

Of love.

Sink into it.

Feel the strength of the trees and allow yourself to be as a tree with your roots planted firmly in the earth,

Deep deep into the earth.

Allow the roots to sink right down to the heart of the earth and then as you breathe in,

Breathe in all of the nurturing nutrients that you require today.

Breathe up the motivation or the loving kindness or the ebb and flow as a tree sways in the wind.

It doesn't break,

It moves and sways.

So too can you,

Flowing around obstacles through your day.

Breathing that up into your body and into all of your cells and then breathe back down again and make those roots more secure and strong.

Really plugging in to the support and help that you require today.

Deep and wide as an oak tree,

Deep and wide as an oak tree and your mantra for today is I am grounded,

Connected and supported.

I am grounded,

Connected and supported.

Continue to breathe in and out but become aware of the room in which you started,

Bringing yourself back into the room,

Feeling calm and safe and supported and when you're ready,

Opening your eyes with a great big smile,

Ready to start your day.
