Acknowledging what we are thankful for helps set up a positive mindset and a fresh perspective on life. We take so much for granted. When we stop and truly appreciate what we have, we cannot help but shift to see life through a different lense.

Sitting or lying comfortably,

Allow your body to settle and relax.

Take a deep breath into your belly.

Exhale,

Allowing your body just to melt and relax.

Take another deep breath.

Exhale,

Melting and relaxing.

And one more deep breath.

Exhale,

Just melting and relaxing.

Now let your breath breathe your body.

When I say the words,

I'm grateful.

Add in whatever it is you're grateful for.

As you ponder on what you're grateful for,

Allow the feeling of gratitude to come through.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful.

I encourage you to turn your attention from thoughts of lack to what you do have,

No matter how small it seems.

Remember the laws of attraction.

What you focus on in your life grows.

Bring your focus back to your breathing.

Allow the breath to continue breathing your body as you begin to bring yourself back to the here and now.

Notice the sounds around you.

Notice the feeling of fabric that touches your skin.

As you wake up your body,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

I really need this at the moment. It’s so easy to focus on what’s been taken away, and not on the abundance that we still and always will have, right here right now...all around us πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’“
