It doesn't take much time to stop anxiety in its tracks. It just takes awareness, willingness and attention to what is happening in the present moment and to breathe. You have six minutes. Right? This practice allows us to repeat phrases, in the present moment, which pulls us out of our heads and into the NOW... where everything is ok, peaceful and neutral.

Welcome to today's meditation.

Today's meditation will be mantras for anxiety.

So coming into a comfortable seat,

Making sure that your spine is upright but not rigid.

You just want to let your body know that you are alert,

Your brain know that you are alert.

And you can bring your chin slightly toward your chest,

Closing your eyes or just having a soft gaze.

And just taking a moment to center yourself,

Ground yourself into whatever space that you are in.

In your home,

Your car,

Your classroom,

Your office.

And placing your right hand on your heart center at your chest and your left hand on top of that.

Just taking a few breaths,

Witnessing your body rise and fall on your inhales and exhales.

And separating your teeth to relax your jaw.

Soften your eyes.

And let your shoulders fall naturally away from your neck and your ears.

So I'll be reading some mantras and in your mind quietly,

Silently,

You can repeat the mantras.

Just continuing to be aware of my voice and the mantras and your breath.

At this moment,

I choose to release the past and look forward to the good that awaits me.

With each new breath,

I inhale strength and exhale fear.

I am learning that it is safe for me to heal and to grow.

At this moment,

I choose to feel calm and peaceful.

Everything is unfolding as it should.

I choose to fill my mind with positive,

Nurturing and healing thoughts.

There are no mistakes,

Only lessons to be learned.

I am doing the best that I can.

Right now,

It's like this.

Everything in this moment is okay.

Everything in this moment is okay.

Everything in this moment is okay.

I am not alone in feeling this way.

Other people feel this way too.

And bringing your awareness back to your surroundings.

Blinking your eyelids open if they were closed.

And taking an intentional breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

If you would like,

You can sit still for a few more minutes before you get up and go on with your day.

Namaste.

So very refreshing and grounding. Great way to end the day. The audio was a little “static-y” however it was a very nice meditation overall. Will be bookmarking!
