I invite you to close your eyes and take three long slow deep breaths in from your belly and hold each breath for five counts and then release for five counts.

So three long slow deep breaths in from your belly holding for the count of five and releasing for the count of five.

With every breath you're becoming more and more tranquil relaxed and at peace.

Let go of what's coming later or what's already passed let it all go for now as you focus your attention on your breath and the sound of my voice.

Nowhere else to be nowhere else to go no one to please just you.

Right now in this beautiful moment.

In this beautiful moment slow deep breaths as you ease gently now into your breath's own natural rhythm.

I'm going to take you through a day that honors healthy choices for your mind body and spirit.

As I do please just notice where you are with that this is not a time to beat yourself up if you're not implementing these things instead it's a time to become aware and just notice how you feel.

When you wake up in the morning do you race out of bed and rush into your day to get to work or some other activity on time or do you take the time to move gently into your day?

Hopefully that's what this challenge is giving you this opportunity right now.

So that you can begin with morning meditation and journaling and setting your intentions for the day.

Maybe you recount your dreams.

Maybe go for an early morning walk and then a nourishing breakfast something that you know will really be kind to your body's digestive system.

And do you remember when you go out to bring a water bottle with you and a healthy snack such as fruit and nuts so you don't go hungry and up later grabbing some fast food in the day just to get you through?

Are you aware that almost every product in the market has sugar in it which will only make you more hungry making you want to eat more it will also spike your energy and then you plummet shortly afterward.

Become mindful of the food you're choosing to eat and then remember to bring healthy snacks with you so you don't become seduced to all of those temptations that we we are easily seduced by when we walk into a store when we're hungry.

So now what about the thoughts you are thinking and the words you are using?

There's a direct correlation from the thoughts you think to how you feel.

If you're feeding your mind with negative thoughts such as resentment,

Bitterness,

Jealousy,

Etc.

You'll walk around feeling angry or sad or fearful.

Whereas when you think of positive thoughts you release chemicals in your brain for joy and pleasure.

It's important very important to notice your thinking and choose choose thoughts that evoke peace,

Kindness,

Love,

Joy.

Your journal will help you move through these feelings to sort them out.

It's important not to deny what you feel simply feel it and if it doesn't feel good then choose meditation,

Journaling,

A brisk walk or talking with a good friend or counselor to help you.

As well the words you speak carry energy and power and once they're out we know we can't take them back.

So know that you emanate energy all the time and the healthier you feel inside the more you'll naturally radiate it out to others.

You will radiate your loving energy which will affect their day in a positive way as well without necessarily even saying a word just your energy.

Perhaps there are relationships in your life that are toxic.

Learn to employ loving backbone when you establish healthy boundaries.

Saying no is not a good thing.

Learn to employ loving backbone when you establish healthy boundaries saying no can be challenging and yet sometimes it's the only thing that will be the most respectful,

Radical,

Self-caring thing that we can do for ourselves.

And how do you nourish your soul?

Meditate,

Walk in nature,

Pray,

Take long luxurious baths using yummy bath salts,

Bubbles and essential oils and then finish off consciously loving every part of your body.

Thanking it for moving you around every day,

For digesting your food,

Allowing you to take walks,

Feel sensual pleasures while you rug every part of your body with lotion.

And what about that little child in you?

Are you listening?

I mean really listening when she or he asks for a nap or to see a particular movie or go dancing?

So important to acknowledge that child that lives inside of you.

Now notice how you're feeling right now.

Are you guilting yourself for not participating in these nurturing acts?

If you are,

Stop.

Please stop.

We are all doing the very best that we can.

The fact that you are here means that you have set an intention to do better and with today's reminders you can simply make more conscious healthy choices.

Now that we know what we can do and add your own,

Are there things that you have done,

You haven't done in a long time that you used to do that would feed your body,

Mind,

Spirit?

So know what those are and I'd like you to implement at least one of these.

And I'm going to give you a little bit of a quick overview of what you can do to help you get through this.

So know what those are and I'd like you to implement at least one today and each day.

So now in your own time,

I'd like you to open your eyes slowly.

You can wiggle your fingers and toes and come back to the room.

Set your timer for 10 minutes and write where you are.
