Thank you so much for joining me for this self-love affirmations meditation.
Many healers believe that self-love or a lack thereof is tied to the root of much dis-ease.
Humans have thousands of thoughts every day,
So affirmations are a way of reprogramming some of the negative self-talk that occurs.
So go ahead and find a comfortable position.
You may want to use this meditation as you are falling asleep because your brain state,
The theta waves they call it,
That meditative dreamy state kind of before you just fall asleep or right as you're waking up is more open to suggestion and more connected to intuition.
So it is a powerful time to use this,
But you can use this meditation at any time.
So once you've established a comfortable position,
Just gently close down your eyelids.
We're going to do a quick relaxation exercise and then jump into these affirmations.
So let's take a couple deep breaths in through the nose for a count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And exhaling,
Letting the day go,
Audibly sigh if that feels good through the mouth.
And let's go in through the nose again.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And that exhale through the mouth.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
I'd like you to do a quick body scan so we can soften any areas that have tension and just call back the pieces of yourself that are still connected to a situation,
A person or a thought that you experienced during the day or allowing you to release the sleep state if this is your morning meditation.
So just envision a white light coming down from the crown of your head and just moving through your body,
Passing through your forehead,
Relaxing and softening the brow,
Moving past the nose into the jaw.
Let anything go there.
Allowing your tongue to relax,
Moving through the throat,
Through the chest,
Softening the heart,
The belly,
The hips,
The thighs,
The knees,
Your calves,
Down through the ankles,
Your feet and your toes.
And just feeling the points of contact that are connected to the bed beneath you or the couch cushion,
Whatever it is that you are grounded to.
I'm now going to begin the affirmations.
I will state them and then you can repeat them if you would like out loud or silently in your head or just absorb them,
Whatever you like.
I am beautiful.
I am worthy of love and respect.
I view challenges as opportunities for growth.
I completely love and accept myself.
I am radiant.
I am full of joy.
I deserve the best life has to offer.
I choose myself.
I am unique and special.
I am enough.
I unconditionally love and accept my body.
I am brave,
Bold,
And beautiful.
I let go of all negativity.
I feel joy in my heart.
I deserve love.
I believe in myself.
I am a good person.
I am a creative being.
I am strong.
I am resilient.
I honor and respect my body.
I love every part of my body.
There is nobody on the planet who is exactly like me.
I am grateful to be alive.
I trust myself to make good decisions.
I love myself as I am.
I have purpose.
I am worthy of my dreams.
I accept myself unconditionally.
I feel truly and deeply loved.
Love surrounds me.
I am important.
Things are always working out for me.
I am living my dream life.
I am worthy of my dreams.
I am talented.
As we release the affirmations,
You can drift off to sleep or if you would like to come out of the meditation,
Start bringing some gentle movement back to the body,
Wiggling the fingers and toes,
Stretching in whatever way might feel good to you.
And whenever you're ready,
Just gently flutter open the eyelids.
I encourage you to use this meditation anytime you are feeling like you're being just too hard on yourself and you want to nurture some of that self-love or just as a cleansing process because we all struggle with the self-love piece or at least everybody that I know does.
So you can listen to this in the morning and at night or whenever you want.
Thank you for joining me.
My name is Junie Boushey and as always I am wishing you well.
