Hello and welcome to today's chakra meditation practice.
Thank you for joining me in balancing out our chakras.
According to Eastern Medicine,
The chakras are energy centers throughout our body that govern our mental,
Our emotional,
Our spiritual,
And our physical health and wellness.
And when our chakras go unbalanced,
We may experience mental or emotional turmoil,
Spiritual disconnection,
Or even physical disease.
It's extremely important to keep our chakra system in balance and aligned so that we may prosper and thrive throughout our lives.
So as you join me in today's chakra balancing meditation,
I invite you to find your meditation seat,
Whether that's in a chair with your feet planted firmly on the floor,
Or with your back against a wall,
Or even lying down,
Whichever you prefer,
As long as your spine is in a straight line so that we may focus on the chakra system today.
Adjusting any clothing or positioning so that you may ease into this practice.
And when you feel ready,
Gently closing the eyes,
Creating awareness for the breath as it enters and exits the body,
Allowing the breath to be your anchor in today's practice,
Allowing it to center you and to ground you into this present moment.
Picking a focal point on the body where the breath enters and exits,
Perhaps this is the tip of your nose,
The back of your throat,
Or your belly.
Becoming aware of the breath on a specific point in your body,
Observing it enter,
Filling up your body,
And exiting,
Returning back into the air around you.
Beginning with the root chakra,
The root chakra is located at the base of the spine.
It governs your sense of safety and survival.
This chakra is associated with the color red,
So I invite you to begin to envision a red glow at the base of your spine,
Allowing this red glow to become more vivid and more vibrant in your mind's eye.
You may choose to envision tree roots growing into the earth from the base of your spine,
And if that's the case,
Allow these roots to be the color of red,
Grounding you into the earth,
Connecting you to our planet,
Growing more vivid in your mind's eye,
Perhaps connecting to other roots around you that also extend into the earth,
Allowing the red glow at the base of your spine to begin to rotate clockwise,
Clearing up any stagnant energy that may exist in this energy center,
Getting bigger,
More vibrant in your mind's eye,
And also shrinking back down into a tinier red glow,
Allowing the energy to become fluid.
Now as I repeat these root chakra affirmations to you,
I invite you to listen to them and take them in as your own.
I am grounded.
I am safe.
I am supported.
I am grounded.
I am safe.
I am supported.
I am grounded.
I am safe.
I am supported.
Moving on to the sacral chakra,
This chakra is located about an inch below your belly button.
The color of this chakra is orange,
And this chakra governs our sexuality,
Sensuality,
And our emotions.
Oftentimes,
This chakra is referred to as the emotional storage closet,
As when we experience trauma in life and do not release it,
It is stored in this chakra,
Causing imbalances.
The color of this chakra is orange,
So I invite you to begin to envision an orange glow located at this energy center,
Just below the belly button,
Allowing the orange color to grow vivid and more vibrant in your mind's eye.
And when you're ready,
Allowing this orange glow to begin to rotate clockwise,
Clearing up any stagnant energy,
Perhaps sinking this chakra with the breath,
Inhaling,
Allowing this orange glow to grow bigger and more vibrant,
And on your exhale,
Allowing it to shrink back down to a dimmer orange glow,
Sinking it with the breath as you release any stagnancy located here.
As I repeat these sacral chakra affirmations,
I invite you to take them in as your own.
I am in control of my emotions.
I embrace my creativity.
I am a sexual being.
I am in control of my emotions.
I embrace my creativity.
I am a sexual being.
I am in control of my emotions.
I embrace my creativity.
I am a sexual being.
Now moving on to the solar plexus chakra.
This chakra is located a few inches above the navel and a few inches below the heart center.
Located at the center point of your core.
The solar plexus chakra governs our sense of self,
Our sense of purpose,
Our confidence,
And discipline.
A great way to heal the solar plexus is repeating I am statements or affirmations.
The color of the solar plexus chakra is yellow,
So I now invite you to begin to envision a yellow glow located at the center of your core.
Allow this yellow glow to become more vivid and more vibrant in your mind's eye.
Perhaps sinking this yellow glow with your breath,
On your inhale allowing this yellow glow to become more vivid and more vibrant in your mind's eye.
And on your exhale allowing this yellow glow to become small and maybe more dim once again.
Just taking some time to connect to this yellow glow.
Now as I repeat these affirmations to you,
I invite you to take them in as your own and to allow the energy behind them to heal your solar plexus.
I am confident in who I am.
I am successful,
Motivated,
And determined.
I work towards my goals daily.
I am confident in who I am.
I am successful,
Motivated,
And determined.
I work towards my goals daily.
I am confident in who I am.
I am successful,
Motivated,
And determined.
I work towards my goals daily.
Now returning your attention back to your solar plexus chakra,
I now invite you to envision an animal.
An animal that represents confidence,
Determination,
And motivation.
Perhaps this is a big cat,
Such as a lion,
Or a cheetah,
But whatever animal comes to you first,
I ask you to trust it and to begin to envision this animal at your solar plexus chakra.
Taking some time to connect to this animal and to the embodiment of this animal.
Taking it in as your own,
As this is another very powerful way to balance and heal your solar plexus chakra.
Now moving on to your heart chakra.
This chakra is located at the center of your chest,
Your heart center.
This chakra governs everything to do with love,
Forgiveness,
And gratitude.
It is said that this chakra is the gateway between the lower chakras and the higher chakras.
Also the gateway from the lower dimensions into the higher dimensions.
It is also said that focusing on healing this chakra will then ripple out to the other chakras,
As it is the most powerful chakra to heal and to open.
The color for this chakra is green,
So I now invite you to begin to envision a green orb at your heart center,
Allowing this green orb to become more vivid and more vibrant in your mind's eye.
Allowing it to grow,
Become bigger with every inhale,
And to become smaller and more dim with every exhale.
Taking some time to open and balance your heart chakra.
Now as I repeat these affirmations to you,
I invite you to take them in as your own,
To really feel the energy behind them,
As these affirmations will help to balance and heal your heart chakra.
I unconditionally love myself.
I love the people I am surrounded by in my life.
I forgive myself.
I forgive those who have hurt me.
I am filled with gratitude.
I unconditionally love myself.
I love the people I am surrounded by in my life.
I forgive myself.
I forgive those who have hurt me.
I am filled with gratitude.
I unconditionally love myself.
I love the people I am surrounded by in my life.
I forgive myself.
I forgive those who have hurt me.
I am filled with gratitude.
Now moving on to the fifth chakra,
Our throat chakra.
This chakra governs our communication and our voice.
It's located at the center of your throat,
And the color associated with this chakra is blue,
Like a vibrant and electric blue.
So I invite you to now envision an electric blue light to begin to form at the center of your throat.
Allowing this blue light to become more vivid in your mind's eye.
Allowing this blue light to begin to rotate clockwise.
Envisioning it getting bigger and more vibrant,
And then smaller and more dim,
Syncing it with your inhale and your exhale.
Now listening to these throat chakra healing affirmations,
I invite you to take them in as your own.
I openly communicate with myself.
I speak my truth to others.
I am an honest person.
My voice matters.
I openly communicate with myself.
I speak my truth to others.
I am an honest person.
My voice matters.
I openly communicate with myself.
I speak my truth to others.
I am an honest person.
My voice matters.
Moving on to the third eye,
Or the brow chakra.
This chakra is located at the center of your eyebrows,
And it governs our intuition,
Our awareness,
And our relation to the metaphysical reality.
The color of the brow chakra is an indigo blue,
Or a translucent white light.
So I now invite you to begin to envision this time a ray shooting outwards from your third eye chakra.
Trusting your intuition on which color seems right for you.
Perhaps envisioning this ray to be an indigo blue,
Or perhaps it's a translucent white light extending outwards into the room around you.
Beginning to envision this ray of light rotating clockwise,
Becoming more vibrant in your mind's eye as you spend some time focusing on your third eye.
Perhaps allowing your breath to move in and out of your body through your brow chakra,
As if you're breathing through the space at the center of your forehead.
As you continue to focus on this ray of light extending from your third eye chakra,
I invite you to listen to these affirmations,
Really feeling the energy behind the words.
I am guided by my intuition.
I am pure awareness.
I am a spiritual being.
I am guided by my intuition.
I am pure awareness.
I am a spiritual being.
I am guided by my intuition.
I am pure awareness.
I am a spiritual being.
Lastly,
Moving on to the crown chakra.
This chakra is located at the top of our heads,
And it governs our connection to a higher power,
Our spirituality,
Our ability to surrender and trust.
The color associated with the crown chakra is violet.
So I now invite you to begin to envision a violet glow beginning to form in your mind's eye at the top of your head.
Or perhaps you envision even a purple violet flame dancing above your head with a white light extending upwards to the heavens.
This white light connects you to a higher power.
Allowing this purple violet flame and white light or even purple glow to become more vivid and more vibrant in your mind's eye.
The more focus you have on your crown chakra,
The more you are connected to your higher power.
Now,
As I repeat these affirmations to you,
I invite you to take them in as your own and allow them to heal your crown chakra.
I am connected to a higher power.
I trust the process.
I am divinely guided.
I surrender to the flow of my life.
I am connected to a higher power.
I trust the process.
I am divinely guided.
I surrender to the flow of my life.
I am connected to a higher power.
I trust the process.
I am divinely guided.
I surrender to the flow of my life.
Now taking some time to bring awareness to your body as a whole,
Noticing all seven chakras lit up,
Rotating clockwise,
Syncing with your breath.
A red orb rotating on your root chakra with roots connecting you into the earth.
An orange glow at your sacral,
Rotating clockwise.
A yellow glow at your solar plexus,
Rotating clockwise,
Clearing up any stagnancy.
A green glow at your heart chakra,
The center of your chest,
Rotating clockwise,
Opening,
Becoming more vibrant in your mind's eye.
An electric blue glow at the center of your throat,
Your throat chakra,
Rotating clockwise.
An indigo translucent white light extending outwards from your third eye chakra.
And lastly,
A purple violet flame dancing at the top of your head with a white light extending upwards,
Connecting you to the heavens at your crown.
Again,
Aware of your body as a whole,
Observing all of the seven chakras balanced,
Aligned,
And open.
Now as you bring yourself back into this room,
Perhaps feeling the surface beneath you,
I invite you to take the feeling of balance and alignment with you into the rest of your day.
Feeling a sense of gratitude for yourself,
For dedicating this time to balancing your chakras.
Inhaling deeply,
Allowing your in-breath to fill your lungs and your belly.
Holding for a moment,
And then exhaling,
Letting it all go.
Bringing some movement back into your body,
Wiggling your toes and your fingers,
Circling out the wrists and the ankles.
Perhaps stretching your arms over your head.
And when you feel ready,
Gently opening your eyes.
Thank you for joining me in today's meditation.
Namaste.
