I invite you to make your body as comfortable as you possibly can,

To make any adjustments,

Grab any pillows,

Wrap up in any blankets that you might need to feel rested,

Comfortable and held in your body.

Give yourself this time where you're not distracted with discomfort and I invite you now to close your eyes and if that is not comfortable for you,

To just soften your gaze,

Bring awareness to your breath,

Noticing how it feels coming in through your nose,

Expanding your chest,

Bringing your breath all the way into your belly and allowing your belly to rise and then really enjoying the beautiful release with the exhale and allow yourself to release the tension in your jaw,

Allow a sound to escape with your exhale and as you breathe in,

Breathe into any places within your body that is feeling pain or discomfort,

Bringing in a breath with compassion,

With love,

With softness,

In through your nose,

Into your chest and into wherever your body is holding pain right now or tension and with each out breath,

Invite that tension and invite that pain to melt right out of your body,

Through your seat,

Down into the beautiful earth that is always there holding us.

Give yourself this moment to also allow any thoughts that you have,

Any worries,

Concerns,

The day you've already had or the day you might still have,

Allow them to melt as well with each out breath,

Down through your body,

Through your seat,

Into the beautiful mother earth who's always willing to absorb all that is uncomfortable for us.

Bring your awareness now to the physical sensation of your body connecting to the seat that you are in,

The cushions you are using,

Allow your body to melt a little into those.

If you are leaning against something,

Snuggle into it and notice this feeling of truly being held and supported.

Allow yourself space to rest into this knowing that you are held and any time,

All you need to do is bring your awareness back to the connection your body is making with the space you are in and breathe in compassion,

Love and acceptance into any area of your body where you've been holding discomfort and allowing it to melt,

Melt away and as you bring your awareness down into the earth,

Reaching into the most nurturing soil like the roots of a tree,

Stretching down further and deeper into mother earth who offers us all of the nourishment,

All of the medicine,

All of the grounding.

We can also draw up through these roots,

Through the soil,

All of these gifts available to us at any time,

Drawing them up into our body,

Bringing peace to our heart,

Ease to our nervous system,

Relaxation to anywhere we are holding tension and with our breath enter into a relationship of releasing down into mother earth and drawing back up again her love and her support and bringing that into anywhere in our body that will bring us the most ease,

Emptying our minds,

Releasing tension,

Feeling held and supported.

Giving yourself a moment of appreciation and gratitude,

You might want to put your hand over your heart and thank yourself for showing up.

Every day you have shown up,

You have faced everything that each day has brought to you and this is no small feat,

This is honorable,

This is worthy of your attention,

It is worthy of safe holding,

It is worthy of gratitude and now I invite you to with your breath bring in some vitality,

Oxygenation right into the cells,

Right into your fingertips,

Breaths that wake you up and feel alive,

Breaths that make you feel the zest of living,

That quicken your heart,

Spark your inspiration and allow yourself to open your eyes gently and bring yourself to full presence in your body again by touching your face,

Stretching your arms,

Wiggling your toes and have a moment of gratitude for this time that you have taken to care for yourself.
