Welcome to this guided meditation.
This meditation will take you through the journey of your anxiety to help bring ease,
Comfort,
And presence.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either sitting down or laying down.
Taking a moment here to feel yourself supported by your chair or by the ground.
As we connect into this present moment,
Calling all of your energy back to you for this moment,
For this meditation,
Taking a breath and exhaling.
Now taking a moment here to tune into your own natural breath.
As you inhale and exhale,
Just noticing the quality.
Noticing where in the body you feel the inhale and the exhale without judgment.
Beautiful.
Now letting that go,
Allowing your own natural breath to return.
And now we connect into our body even deeper and we'll scan through the body,
Starting with the crown,
Moving into the forehead,
The third eye.
And as we scan through the body,
Just noticing where you might feel tension,
Where you might feel the anxiety,
Which place in the body.
Continue to scan through the cheeks,
The jaw,
Softening the jaw,
Into the neck,
The throat,
Into the shoulders,
Feeling the shoulders relax here.
Moving into the arms,
The hands,
The chest,
The heart,
The torso,
The back body.
Moving down into the solar plexus,
The belly,
The sacral,
Into the pelvis,
Into the root,
Lower back,
Down into the groin,
Into the hips.
Again,
Just noticing,
Just bringing awareness during this scan to the hips,
The thighs,
The back of the legs,
Knees,
Shins,
Calves,
And feet.
Beautiful.
And now that we've done a scan,
Just noticing where you felt the anxiety,
Which place in the body.
Perhaps it was your shoulders,
Your jaw,
Your hips.
Just really tuning into where it lives.
And then we're going to gently invite our energy into this space,
Into this space where the anxiety lives.
And we're going to be with it.
We're going to take some time here,
Taking a breath,
And just connecting with it without trying to change it or get rid of it.
Just simply allowing it to be and being with it.
Being with all of the feelings that come up around it.
Could be fear,
Could be nervousness,
Could be sadness,
Could be joy.
Just allowing yourself to again be with the anxiety.
And as you continue to sit with this in your body,
We're going to begin to deepen the breath.
So deep inhale in through the nose,
And exhale through the mouth.
Beautiful.
Again,
Deep inhale in through the nose.
And exhale,
Release.
And continuing a few more deep breaths.
And with each inhale,
Inviting in softness.
And with each exhale,
Just feeling gentleness,
Melting,
And release.
Beautiful.
And just letting that breath go,
Allowing your own natural rhythm to return.
And now we're going to invite in the inquiry.
Building the relationship with the anxiety.
What does the anxiety have to share?
What is its purpose?
Why is it here?
Again,
Remaining present in your body.
And we're allowing the emotion to speak to us in this moment.
Perhaps it's overwhelmed,
Burnt out.
We've been doing too much.
Our nervous system is out of balance.
Whatever it is your anxiety wants to share,
Just taking this information from a place of gratitude.
Knowing that this information is for your highest good,
Which is for the highest good.
And allowing yourself to be in full receptivity of any information that wants to come through.
Trusting this.
Allowing this information to come from the emotion.
To come from your highest self.
To come from your intuition.
Taking a breath.
And now taking a moment here,
Thinking the anxiety,
Thinking the information you received.
And then asking the question,
What can I do in this moment?
And again,
Connecting into the body here.
If you need to place your hand on your body,
Perhaps on the heart,
Or perhaps where you feel the anxiety.
And allow the body to respond.
What can I do in this moment?
Perhaps it's take a deep breath.
Perhaps it's to tone and make a sound.
Perhaps a yell.
Doesn't have to be a pretty sound.
Perhaps it's move the body.
Some stretching,
Some shaking.
Whatever it is,
Is perfect.
Trusting it.
And allowing yourself to receive exactly what you need in this moment.
Beautiful.
And then letting that go.
Thanking it for all of the information.
Taking a breath.
And taking a moment to connect into your heart space.
This space of unconditional love.
This space of purity,
Compassion,
Acceptance,
Forgiveness.
The portal to your soul.
Taking a breath.
Knowing that you are loved.
You are worthy.
And you are divine love.
Taking a breath.
And then allowing that to go for now.
Knowing that you can always come back to this place.
It's here for you,
Simply by reconnecting to the body.
Taking that pause,
That place of stillness.
And allowing yourself to receive what you need in the moment.
And when you are ready,
Taking as much time as you need.
And when you are ready,
Gently connecting back to your breath.
Feeling your sits bones.
Feeling yourself in this space.
And bringing some movement into your fingers and toes.
And opening your eyes and coming back into this space.
