Take 10 min to reset your day, set intention, and get it going in a positive direction! A great practice to do if you find yourself feeling stressed out, frustrated or angry. Remember, you can't control everything that happens, but you can control how you react to things. Taking time to pause, reset and create an intention can quickly shift the trajectory of your day. Practice this in the mornings or whenever you need to reset!

Hi everyone,

Welcome back.

This is going to be a really quick reset for your day.

So just a few minute practice that you can do to press pause,

Press reset,

And get your day going in a positive direction.

Especially if you have noticed that things are really not going your way,

Things are really feeling like a struggle,

Things are feeling stressful,

And you just want to take a pause and reset.

So get comfortable,

Sit up nice and tall.

If you want to lay down,

You can do that too.

And take a deep breath in.

Exhale through your mouth.

Another deep breath in.

And out.

And in.

And out.

And out.

Continue to breathe in this way.

As you inhale,

Feeling the breath fill up your entire body.

So not just going into your lungs,

But as you breathe in,

The breath reaches from the inside out.

So all the way to the surface of your skin,

The top of your head,

The tips of your fingers and toes.

Breathing in,

It fills your belly,

It fills your body,

It fills your whole being.

And breathing out,

Feeling any tension,

Tightness,

Stress.

Just soften and release.

And just continue to breathe in this way.

Feel the support beneath your body.

Feel your nervous system begin to settle down as you rest your body,

As you slow down your breathing.

And if your mind starts to wander,

Just keep bringing it back to your breathing.

Simply feeling the inhale and feeling the exhale.

Anytime the mind wanders,

Just bringing it back to the breath,

Gently guiding your attention back to your breathing.

Begin to lengthen your exhales,

Sending a signal to your nervous system to relax,

To slow down.

Relax your eyes,

Relax your jaw,

Relax all the muscles in your body.

Let yourself soften and let go a little bit.

Soften and let go a little bit.

And just notice how that feels.

And now we're going to just set an intention for the next segment of your day.

How do you want the next part of your day to go?

Whether you are driving or going to have a walk,

Have a conversation,

How would you like,

How do you intend for this next part of your day to play out?

So if you're going on a drive,

You might set the intention to have a really enjoyable,

Stress-free drive,

And finding a really easy,

Good parking spot when you get to where you're going.

If you are going to have a conversation with someone,

Maybe you set the intention to really be present with that person,

To look them in the eye,

To really hear what they're saying to you,

And to speak very honestly and kindly.

What is your intention for the conversation?

What do you want to convey?

How do you want to be?

So just take a moment to set the intention for your day,

For your day or for just this next segment of your day,

And even visualizing what it's going to look like,

How it's going to feel.

And then finding an inner smile.

So just imagine smiling from the inside out,

Smiling in your heart and letting the energy of that smile fill your body.

You may even notice you smile a little bit on your face,

And taking another deep breath in and out,

And thanking yourself for taking a moment to reset your day.

This is also something that you can just do in the morning to start your day.

And any time that you find yourself feeling stressed out or anxious or ungrounded throughout the day,

This is a really simple practice that you can do to just reset your day and get it back on track in a trajectory that you want it to go in.

Remember that there are things that are outside of our control,

But we can always control how we react to something,

And we can always be very intentional in how we want to be.

So in an instant,

In a moment,

You can shift the trajectory of your day.

Okay,

So if your eyes are closed,

Just blink them open,

And taking in your surroundings,

And just let that idea settle in that in a moment you can decide how you want to be and how you want your day to unfold.

Okay,

You have that power,

You are always in control of how you feel,

And when we take the time to pause and to reset,

That's when we actually can utilize that power and make those decisions.

So I wish you a very beautiful day.

Thank you for taking this time with me,

And I'll see you next time.
