My song “You Were There” is a tribute to my mother (and father, too). I was so blessed to have a mother who was there throughout my life. She picked me up when I was young, and when she fell at the end of her life – I was there. The sweet piano melody gently sandwiches the beginning and ending of this track. The middle is a lovely piano interlude, inspired by the chords of my song.
