Welcome.

This meditation is useful for when you're experiencing anxiety,

Rumination,

And a runaway mind,

A mind that seems to have taken on its own characteristics and is hard to catch.

This meditation works best if you are lying down somewhere cozy,

Somewhere where your body can fully relax and feel restful and safe.

So go on and get settled and let's take a deep breath in and release.

Another deep breath in.

Release.

One more time in and out.

Bring your attention inward to the inside of your body.

Make sure your eyes are closed and I want you to simply open up the awareness within you,

Your internal GPS,

Your intuition,

And I want you to scan your body from the top of the head all the way down to the toes.

Your inner eyes open and gently observing physical sensations,

Areas of tightness,

Anywhere there feels like there is an excess of energy right now.

Your breathing is steady.

Your breathing is normal.

As your inner eye scans within.

Where is the activity?

Where is the excess energy?

I want you to gently name it for yourself.

Name where it is.

Then I want you to see if you can open further,

See if you can turn your curiosity onto 100.

And as you continue to breathe and be supported,

Go ahead and see if you can bring your attention into this energy.

You may feel some resistance to going here.

Just breathe.

Can you bring your breath to this area in your body of heightened energy?

Gently breathe space into this energy,

Breathe space around this energy.

Create a container around this activity.

And as you breathe and create space,

You're not efforting.

It's just so your space is created easily with your breath.

Notice the resistance melting away,

Melting out of your space as you successfully gain access to the space where this energy lives.

Keep breathing and notice,

Does this energy have a color?

Does this energy have a texture?

Is there a temperature?

What other qualities does this space,

Does this energy have?

And as you continue to breathe and be with it,

Then open up curiously.

See if you can become this energy.

You the observer,

Can you merge with this energy?

Continue breathing in and out.

Just allowing yourself to melt into this and become the color,

The texture,

The shape,

The sound.

Whatever qualities you came up with is perfect.

Be this energy.

Keep breathing and we're going to allow some moments of stillness here.

During this stillness,

During this quiet,

Just breathe and be this energy.

And be open to discovering what happens in this space.

Now,

Let's engage in this process of self-care.

As you breathe,

Allow your belly and your chest to rise and fall as you continue to be intimate with this energy,

With this space.

There is nothing to do,

Nowhere to be,

Nothing to solve,

Nothing to figure out.

It's time to be and to allow your breath and your body to be held in union,

In communion with each other,

Being here,

Present,

Available,

Curious,

Observing,

Allowing,

Expanding,

Resting,

Relaxing,

Melting into this no space,

No time container of the present.

Take some deep breaths in and out.

Continue to keep your eyes closed.

Gently bring some movement to your toes and your fingers.

Gently rotate your wrists and your ankles as you continue to breathe in and out,

Sourcing yourself in the present moment.

Having your body to do whatever it needs to do,

To gently come back in your own time,

In your own way.

Maybe there's movement and maybe there's stillness.

Using whatever your body wants,

The right answer for you today.

And as you come back,

Open your eyes gently,

Easily,

Come back to the room,

Come back to your physical space,

Gently smile,

Turning the corners of your mouth upward and hold.

As you breathe,

Continue to hold the smile and feel the energy,

The flow of your breath,

Turning the corners of your mouth,

Holding them up and see if you can experience this openness in your chest,

This lightness,

Expansiveness,

Availability,

Curiosity,

Maybe even love and joy,

The playfulness ready to take on your day at hand.

Hold that smile for three,

Two,

One,

Release.

Take a final cleansing breath in and out.

This completes your meditation.

May you have a beautiful rest of your day.

Bye for now.
