
Kundalini Nyasa For Relaxation
Allow yourself to be transported in this guided relaxation. Similar to a Yoga Nidra your body will relax you and your mind will be guided to charge you with positivity. Using sound vibrations through the body, you will experience a deep healing and relaxing process.

Welcome to this practice of Yoga Nidra.
Let's begin by settling the body,
Perhaps by imagining how it would be if your whole body could completely soften and let go,
From the inside of the bones all the way to the skin.
The organs,
The stomach and colons,
Liver,
Kidneys,
Spleen,
Heart muscle,
They can all take a small rest.
Within the tissues,
The muscles,
Tendons,
Ligaments and nerve cells can gently vibrate at a relaxed pace.
Even the blood can ebb and flow without rushing,
Peacefully carrying nutrients and vital messages around the system.
So just imagine how it would be for you if you gave your body this permission to be still.
It is as though this body could go into power saving mode,
Giving time for the batteries to recharge.
Take a few moments and movements to completely settle in whichever way comes to you.
Let's take this time to make an intention together.

Now let's take our attention to the centre of the chest,
To the place where Sankalpa or resolve may live.
Now bring the mind and emotions to rest in this place,
At the centre of the chest,
As you observe silently any feelings or thoughts that arise.
If a Sankalpa or resolve has not made its presence known yet,
Then please continue observing any phenomena in the place of heart's desire.
If a Sankalpa is there waiting to be repeated,
Then please do it now.
Take your attention to the crown of the head,
Imagining you can place a star there,
And then move that attention into the middle of the head,
The emotional brain,
And place a star there too.
Moving to the bottom of the skull,
We place another star,
Before taking the attention back to the star in the centre of the head.
From here,
Move the awareness to the brow,
The logical brain.
From the brow,
Take this awareness down to the lips and place a big star there,
Before moving back to the brow,
And from there to the star in the middle of the head.
Now we will take that awareness around the body in a similar fashion,
Placing stars wherever the awareness rests.
Perhaps you can even imagine the awareness moving on a passage of light from one place to another.
Begin allowing the awareness to travel down to the throat,
And from there to the right shoulder,
Down to the right elbow,
Wrist,
Palm of the hand,
Thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And little finger.
See all five stars shining brightly.
And let's return through the palm,
Right wrist,
Elbow,
And shoulder.
And from the right shoulder,
We can travel back to the throat.
Now we go over to the left shoulder,
Down to the elbow,
The wrist,
Left palm,
Thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And little finger.
Again,
Seeing all five stars shining brightly.
Travel back through the palm,
Wrist,
Elbow,
Shoulder,
Back to the throat,
And down to the centre of the chest.
Place a big star at the heart centre,
In the centre of the chest.
From the heart,
We can move down to the navel,
To the pelvic area,
And over to the right hip,
Down to the right knee,
Ankle,
Sole,
Big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth,
And fifth.
See all five stars shining brightly.
Coming back now,
Through the sole,
Ankle,
Knee,
Right hip,
And going all the way through the pelvis to the left hip,
Down to the knee,
The ankle,
Sole,
Big toe,
Second,
Third,
Fourth,
And fifth.
Seeing all five stars shining brightly in the toes.
Let's travel back through the sole,
Ankle,
Knee,
Hip,
And back over to the pelvic area,
And sliding the awareness down to the perineum,
Or base of the spine.
Place another star at the base of the spine,
And allow your awareness to rest there.
Now,
We will play some sacred sounds up through the core of your being.
Sometimes this is called the Adi Shakti mantra.
It is said to open up your psychic centers or chakras,
And connect your soul to the universal soul.
It's a wake up call for your true nature to rise and shine.
In the star where you are resting,
In the star where you are resting,
Please place the sound of Ek.
In the star where you are resting,
Please place the sound of Ek.
Moving up to the star at the pelvis,
Place the sound of Ong.
Moving up to the star at the pelvis,
Place the sound of Ong.
Moving up to the star at the pelvis,
Place the sound of Ong.

Sliding up to the navel,
Place the sound of Ka.
At the navel,
Place the sound of Ka.
The navel point,

Shining up to the heart center,

The sound of Sat.

Rising up to the lips,

And arriving at the crown,

So now imagine,
In whichever way comes to you,
That you can spin the stars in the core of your being around in a clockwise direction.
And as you do this,
The sounds of Ek.
Om.
Kha.
Sat.
Nam.
Siti.
Wahe.
Guru.
Will begin to resonate through your whole being.
The call for the soul to rise and shine Sing inside your mind,
Body and soul.
Allow yourself to rest for a moment in these sacred sounds.
Now let's move our awareness to the rest of the body.
Perhaps imagine that you can look inside your body and see the stars you have placed here and there.
The whole body can begin to resemble space and your stars can twinkle as if in the night sky.
Take your attention into your breath.
As you inhale into the night sky,
Your abdomen can rise and as you exhale it can fall.
Your stars become brighter with each inhale and begin to move away from the body to the periphery and beyond.
And here you can have the experience of being separate or away from your stars.
As you exhale they dim slightly and fall back into place.
Here you can have the experience of being together or close to your stars.
So you are inhaling away and exhaling together.
Stars are leaving on your inhale and returning on the exhale.
Though some of you may experience your stars exhaling away and inhaling together,
Either way is perfect,
These are your stars.
Perhaps you can imagine you are breathing in tandem with the whole universe and consider the universe could be breathing in and with you.
Bring your awareness now to the area behind the closed eyes known as Chidakash.
Imagine yourself in the middle of a forest or woods.
Looking around you may notice different hues and colours to the leaves and tree barks.
Greens,
Greys,
Browns and yellows could come into your mind's eye.
If you look down you will see that you are standing on a path of smooth amethyst quartz.
You may wish to take off any shoes that you are wearing and allow the master healer to transmit vital energy into your system.
As you walk down the path you may hear the sounds of the forest,
Bird call or the wind rustling through the trees.
You may even be able to smell the various scents offered by the forest.
After a little while you see a cave up ahead and on looking closer you can make out a rainbow that travels over the cave door.
You are invited to enter the rainbow cave and on arriving you notice some kind of seat and allow yourself to rest.
You begin to see rainbow reflections moving across the cave wall and you can allow your innate wisdom to show you any images you are ready to see.
This rainbow cave is protected by the masters of healing and spiritual awareness and so you are invited to feel safe and secure as you allow your innate wisdom to communicate with you in this manner.
Stay present and continue to communicate with this rainbow energy.
Allow it to infuse your whole body.
Releasing the rainbow experience please bring your awareness into the centre of your chest.
Feel the whole of your physical body lying on the ground and take the mind to the centre of the chest where sankalpa or resolve may live and if your resolve lives somewhere else feel free to rest your awareness in that place.
If you have a sankalpa please repeat it three times with feeling and conviction.
If a sankalpa has not made its presence known then assume an attitude of listening and wait for a resolve to arise.
Bring your awareness to the sense of hearing,
Listening to sounds in the distance and sounds close to you.
Become aware of your whole body lying on the ground and notice the points where it touches the ground and how it feels and bring your awareness back into your breath.
The abdomen rising as you inhale and falling as you exhale.
Begin to slowly move your fingers and your toes and make circles with your hands and your feet.
And stretch your arms up over your head and take a deep breath in and a deep deep stretch as you bring all of your awareness back.
And when you feel ready to you can open your eyes.
Bring the knees into your chest and hug them tight and then cricket rub your hands and feet together.
Bring your knees back into your chest and rock and roll yourself back up to continue with your day.
