We all have an emotional battery that gets drained from time-to-time. Use this guided meditation to help you recharge your emotional battery, so you can fill your cup and more easily enact positive change into your life. You deserve good feelings in your life, so let yourself feel them fully!

Let's begin our journey together in an exercise that I call charging your battery.

The power of your body's energy and safety is pivotal to this process of charging your emotional battery.

So adjust your current environment to pause what you're doing.

Simply focus your attention into your body.

Listen to what your body is saying to you.

Then take a slow and deep breath to connect into your body.

Feel your feelings of breathing.

Feel what it feels like to be alive.

You can feel your heart pumping blood.

You can hear your environment around you.

You can taste the saliva in your mouth.

In your mind's eye,

You can see and feel the internal landscape of each organ and limb that comprises your body.

Again,

Feel yourself in its natural state of breathing.

Feel what it's like to be alive,

Doing nothing,

Feeling.

Now,

Meander through your personal memories and find an experience when you felt joyful most recently in your life.

Find a specific moment in your life when you experienced joy.

If you have multiple memories,

Then choose only one moment when you experienced joy most recently.

First thought,

Best thought.

I'm going to stop talking for a few moments.

And if you need more time to find a specific moment in your life when you felt joy,

Then pause this recording and hit play once you're ready to continue.

Replay this memory of joy in your mind as if it's happening today right now.

Now quickly bring yourself to the climax of that single emotion.

At what point in this memory were you feeling best?

Close your eyes.

What physical sensations are you feeling inside of your body right now?

Find at least two physical sensations.

What is the sensation and where is it located inside of your body?

Feel your sensation simultaneously.

Do nothing.

As you do nothing,

Say yes to your sensations and allow them to change as they need.

Allow them to change on their own.

Do nothing.

Let go of control.

Surrender to feeling your body.

Now allow your sensations to change as they want to.

Great job.

Keep doing nothing.

Keep doing nothing.

Feel your sensations and let them be.

Slowly open your eyes while staying connected to your feelings inside of your body.

Keep doing nothing.

Keep observing and surrendering to feeling.

Keep feeling your sensations until you feel a sense of calm,

A feeling of contentment,

A feeling of peace.

This is your natural state.

The peace inside your body is your birthright.

When you feel complete,

Take another slow and deep breath.

What we have attempted to do with this exercise is to flood our bodies with molecules and energies of healing.

We are bathing ourselves in feel-good emotions.

For some of us,

We have become blessed to discover disruptive thoughts,

Negative emotions,

Or control methods that stopped us from being fully immersed in our own body while re-experiencing a joyful memory.

No worries,

Though.

These disruptive thoughts,

Emotions,

Or self-controlling behaviors that stopped you from re-experiencing empowering feelings from this moment of joy from the past are simply a gentle nudge given to you by your body.

Your sensations are asking you to surrender yourself to feel them fully so they can self-regulate and heal your body.

These distracting thoughts that kept you from surrendering to your feelings are not roadblocks.

They are simply reminders to you about how you have been trained to control,

Distract,

Or disregard your feelings.

Keep practicing on strengthening your attention to become more embodied in the present moment.

Strengthen your attention to feel your feelings without thoughts and without judgments.

Surrendering to your flow of feelings provides you a direct connection to your sensations.

This is the key to healing wounds of the past,

Now and the present.

To heal,

We must choose to feel.

If you noticed your body provide you with good-feeling sensations,

It is essentially telling you,

Yes,

To feeling the positive emotions that you chose to re-experience.

Allowing yourself to be flooded with feel-good feelings is the key to recharging your battery whenever you want to.

Practice this in your daily life and savor the feelings of being alive.

Savor your sensations like you would savor your favorite food.

You already have the power within you to become emotionally sovereign and to self-regulate any difficulty in your life.

It is your birthright.

As you practice this more and more,

You will inevitably unearth your inner power and level up your life.

This is the key to healing wounds of the past.
