Allow yourself to arrive into this moment.

In a comfortable seated or lying position.

A position that cultivates a sense of relaxation and also a sense of alertness.

Silently,

We can welcome ourselves into this moment and to this practice.

Greeting ourselves as if we are greeting an old friend.

Here we are,

Back home with ourself.

We are in a safe space,

A supported space.

And a space where we can be and accept ourselves exactly as we are.

Begin to bring your awareness to your breath.

The natural flow of air moving in and moving out.

Simply following the breath as you breathe in and breathe out.

For this practice,

We can choose one of three focal points which we can utilize as we follow the breath.

The first can be the expansion and contraction of the diaphragm or the belly.

The next could be the subtle rising and falling of the chest.

And the final option can be the gentle flowing of air through the nostrils or through the mouth.

For this practice,

Choose one focal point and continue to be with the inhalation and blogging Breathing in,

Breathing out.

There is nowhere to go,

Nothing to do.

We're simply being with the breath.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Our minds will naturally wander.

As you find your focus has shifted from your breath,

Simply return and return again.

This is the moment to be with the breath.

Simply return and return again.

This is all part of the practice.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Our thoughts are like clouds drifting through the sky.

The breath is like the wind which supports the clouds as they gracefully move along.

As we follow the breath,

We allow the clouds of thoughts to disperse,

Opening to a clear blue sky mind.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

If you have drifted from the here and now,

Simply invite yourself back to the moment.

Com From this space of mindful awareness,

If you would like,

You can invite forth an intention.

This can be a goal,

A wish,

An aspiration for this practice,

For this day,

Or for a cycle of life which you are moving through.

Allow this intention to naturally sprout forth without any effort.

If nothing is coming,

Simply continue to follow your breath.

We can use the energy of our mindful awareness as a catalyst to support us in the direction in which we would like to move forth from this moment.

Our intention in this moment can be a guide to support us on our own true path.

When you are complete,

Return back to your breath.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

We will sit for one more minute.

See if you can heighten your awareness and remain with your breath for the final minute of our practice.

This is the first time we have been able to do this.

This is the second time we have been able to do this.

This is the third time we have been able to do this.

This is the fourth time we have been able to do this.

This is the fifth time we have been able to do this.
