In Vedic tradition,
Bija mantras are used as tools for the expansion and widening of one's mind by utilising the power of sound vibrations.
Mantra is a Sanskrit word made up of two syllables,
Man,
Mind and tra,
Liberate.
Thus,
In its most literal translation,
The word mantra means to liberate one's mind.
During this chakra meditation,
We will be using Bija mantras for each of the different seven chakras.
I will ask you to repeat the mantra out loud ten times,
Then you will hear the sound of my bell to indicate to stop.
Now you can say these mantras in your mind,
But they're all the more powerful when you can feel and hear the sound of the mantra.
