Good evening.
It's Jordana here.
And I thought we could do a meditation together.
Relax the mind so that we can have a bright tomorrow.
So make your way to bed if you're not there.
You can pause this audio to get there.
And once you're in bed,
Making yourself so comfortable and just noticing now,
Is there anything you could do to make yourself feel 5% more comfortable?
Maybe it's just moving your pinky toe.
Noticing how the slight adjustment or no adjustment at all feels.
And taking a moment to be satisfied.
And here we'll begin.
Closing your eyes,
Letting your body feel held.
Noticing the connection between the back of your body or the side of your body if you're curled up.
Maybe imagining that your body could melt down.
Your muscles could release tension.
And the mattress could just handle it all.
Thank you for giving me your tension,
It might say.
And let it feel good that you made your way here to this time of letting your body be held and welcoming in sleep.
We're going to breathe in through the nose and then exhale through the mouth.
As you exhale,
I'd like you to imagine that you're blowing bubbles.
And these bubbles represent transformed energy from any heaviness in your body.
You could just blow the heaviness out like you blow bubbles into a garden.
And as you're doing this breath,
And doing as many that feel good for you for the next minute,
Maybe it's even just one long breath that you do.
One long exhale.
Just imagining all of those bubbles,
This heaviness transforming into lightness,
Into bubbles.
Maybe you watch as the bubbles float away.
And then choose to take one last intentional sigh,
Making a sound.
And then relaxing the breath.
Noticing how your body feels after that breath where you let go,
Even just a little.
Notice that the body's becoming even more relaxed.
You can give more and more of your weight to the mattress.
And even as you breathe,
Without controlling the breath,
Any heaviness from your mind just seeps out like bubbles.
As you exhale,
Heaviness from your mind releasing on the exhale,
Light as bubbles.
Flying off into the distance,
Maybe popping,
Disappearing.
I'd like you to imagine that you're in your most favorite place in nature.
This is a place that you've been to,
Or maybe you've just dreamt about it.
And maybe you're even just dreaming about it for the first time now,
As I ask you to bring this place to mind.
All of that is okay.
It's perfect.
And here,
Notice the scenery.
What do you see?
What do you hear?
Is there water?
Wind?
Are there birds?
What do you smell?
Can you smell flowers?
The ocean?
The grass?
And I'd like you to imagine that you are in the most comfortable chair or hammock.
You are held in a container that is so comfortable.
Noticing how it feels.
Maybe you notice the sun on your cheeks.
And the wind lightly blowing your hair.
And still here as you exhale,
Those magical bubbles helping you to release any heaviness.
And the whole environment supports you in that.
A comfortable chair or hammock makes it so easy to feel soft.
The beautiful scenery and sounds.
So relaxing.
So soothing.
And maybe you notice that it becomes easier to let go.
You could imagine that even the tips of your fingers and the tips of your toes are also blowing bubbles as you exhale.
And those bubbles of whatever happened today,
Whatever needs to be picked back up tomorrow,
For now,
For tonight,
They float off like bubbles in the wind and disappearing.
And not to worry.
Whatever you need for tomorrow.
To remember.
To do.
That's what tomorrow is for.
Tomorrow you get to remember.
Tomorrow you get to do.
But tonight,
Right now,
Nothing to do.
But relax.
Let go.
And sleep.
And the more that you can let go,
Allow yourself to relax,
Surrender,
The more positive tomorrow will be.
It's not about getting to anything now.
Letting the day be over.
Letting your thoughts melt into your body.
And allowing both mind and body to soften with every exhale.
And if any thoughts are circling through your mind,
You might see what happens if you repeat the mantra.
Let go.
Maybe you can even feel the mantra let go at the space between your brow.
And it's like the mind can melt even more.
Maybe the mind can melt so much that it feels like a forehead massage.
Massaging the space at the top of the nose,
Above the eyebrows,
At your temples,
Your earlobes,
The space between the top of your jaw and the bottom of your jaw,
And your lower jawbone,
Your upper jawbone,
The space above your upper lip,
And the back of the neck,
The ridge between your head and your neck,
The muscles on the side of your neck,
And then the space where the neck meets the shoulders.
Let this melting down feel like a shoulder massage.
You could even imagine that tension lifts up out of your body,
Out of your shoulders,
Your neck,
Your face,
Like vapor and disappearing.
And you notice that letting go feels more and more delightful.
As you're drifting off towards sleep,
You get a sense that you're going to have magical dreams.
And even if you don't remember them in the morning,
You'll wake up with this sense of having been somewhere special in your sleep,
Waking up feeling restored,
Ready for the day,
Feeling deep rest in your bones.
So taking this time now to infuse that magic into your dreams that you'll have.
Those delightful dreams.
You'll feel happy.
You'll feel peaceful.
You'll feel inspired by the magic of what your life is bringing and has yet to bring.
Inspired by how incredible it is to be alive here now in this time.
What an opportunity each day is,
And each night,
And how wondrous our dreams.
Resting in the awe of dreams.
May I rest deeply and peacefully.
May I release all that is not mine to carry.
May I release all that is mine to carry.
May I release all that is mine to surrender.
May I be restored.
May my body feel ease.
May my heart be filled with gratitude and appreciation.
I am appreciating.
The comfort of my bed.
The magical dreams to come.
My entire body.
My entire mind.
Letting go.
Relaxing.
