The meditation will be around 25 minutes.
This meditation will help you to develop the state of self-acceptance which will promote natural healing,
Balance the energy centers,
And facilitate the transformation of suffering states of mind within.
When you are ready,
Find a place comfortable to sit.
It can be on a chair or on the floor and then close your eyes and rest your hands gently on your thighs.
Relax the shoulders.
We will begin by stabilizing the mind through observing the breath.
Your only task here is to just observe the breath and let it happen naturally.
If it wishes to be slow,
Let it be slow.
If it wishes to be fast,
Let it be fast.
Your only task here is to just observe,
Not to control.
Just observe.
Let's begin the meditation of balancing energy through self-acceptance.
We will begin by moving our awareness to the tailbone area,
The private region,
And make the size of the awareness the size of your fist and become aware of the physical sensations happening in this area.
It can be pain or throbbing or pleasure or nothing.
Just simply observe.
That is how we develop self-acceptance.
Let us develop self-acceptance even further.
At times we can feel alone and vulnerable in the world like we are the odd one out.
This belief will create imbalances within.
Now let us balance the energy within by accepting our uniqueness,
Our strangeness,
And completing the self-acceptance by directing that acceptance towards other people that we cannot accept.
To help you do this,
You can declare in the mind,
I accept my strangeness,
And then picture someone in your mind that you cannot accept,
And declare I accept their strangeness too.
Remain in the state of self-acceptance for the next few breaths.
At the same time,
Observing and accepting the breath as it is.
If you experience pain or discomfort,
This is natural.
Your energy is just working towards a balance.
Now move your awareness to the stomach area below the belly button.
Likewise,
Become aware of the physical sensations happening in this area.
Let us develop self-acceptance here by letting go of all the expectations we have towards ourselves.
The universe does not expect of you as you are already perfect.
Self-compassion and forgiveness is important to balance the energy here,
And likewise,
Direct that forgiveness and compassion towards those who have fallen short of your expectations.
To help you,
You can declare in the mind,
Everything I do is perfect,
So is everyone else.
You can picture someone in your mind that you have trouble forgiving,
And send that acceptance towards them.
And then rest in the state of self-acceptance for the next few breaths,
Accepting yourself and others.
Now move your awareness to the solar plexus,
The area above the belly button,
And be aware of the physical sensations happening here.
Let us develop self-acceptance even further.
When we have a belief that we must have the image of being rich,
Powerful,
Beautiful,
Or successful,
It will create imbalances within.
To balance the energy here,
We learn to be happy and love ourselves even if we have nothing.
To help you develop self-acceptance,
You can declare in the mind,
I accept myself as it is,
And I let go of my powers to control how others will see me.
Remain in the state of self-acceptance towards yourself and others for the next few breaths,
And remember if you do experience discomfort or pain,
Your energy is just working towards a balance.
Let us move our awareness towards the area in between the chest and become aware of the physical sensations happening in this area.
To balance the energy here,
We learn that when love is conditional,
For instance,
With expectations for return,
The energy will become imbalanced.
So here we develop unconditional love.
To help you develop self-acceptance,
You can declare in the mind,
It is okay to love all without needing anything in return,
And likewise,
It is okay to freely receive love and help from all others.
To develop self-acceptance even further,
You can picture someone that you cannot fully love,
And then send unconditional love towards them.
Let us move our awareness towards the area in between the chest and the chest.
Let us move our awareness towards the throat area.
Become aware of the physical sensations happening here.
Here,
To balance the energy center,
We learn to communicate honestly to the world as to who we really are.
This is an expression of self-acceptance.
The teaching of self to self happens here.
To help you develop self-acceptance here,
You can declare in the mind,
It's okay for me to be honest with others,
And I accept others for the honest opinions and judgments.
To take the acceptance even further,
You can declare also,
I accept those who have lied to me,
And I accept myself for the lies I have made.
All is acceptable.
Let us move our awareness towards the area between the eyes.
Here we learn to see the worthiness in all things that may seem unworthy.
Through the spiritual eye,
The illusion of imperfection is seen through as what is not perfect.
If all is a part of the Creator,
The universe.
You can declare here,
I am worthy of love,
And everyone is worthy of love,
No matter who they are,
No matter what gender,
Race,
Class,
Intelligence level.
To develop self-acceptance even further,
You can picture someone in your mind that you deem unworthy of love,
And then send that state of unconditional love towards them.
It can also be an unworthy object or an idea.
Whatever it is,
Just send unconditional acceptance towards it.
Let us move our awareness to the top of the head.
Here we realize the beauty and sacred nature of all things.
Here we accept the universe,
The world,
And life for what it is,
Giving gratitude towards every moment of experience,
Even this very moment.
We can give gratitude in love by simply accepting,
Through simply observing,
The present moment as it is,
Not trying to control it,
Just being in it.
You you Now come back to the focus of the breath.
We will remain here for a few minutes,
Remaining in the state of self-acceptance,
Accepting the experience in the present moment,
Accepting the comfort or discomfort,
The patience or impatience,
Accepting the breath for what it is.
If it wishes to be fast or slow,
We just let it be.
Letting the present moment be is a wants-it-to-be,
A state of total acceptance,
Surrendering control,
And analysis.
Try your best to remain in the state of total acceptance.
You you you Now for the last minute,
Let us develop self-acceptance even further by directing unconditional acceptance towards others,
Radiating first towards the people close to us,
Our families,
Then towards our friends,
Then our enemies,
Then towards the strangers,
And like this,
Accepting all that is within the universe.
At the same time,
Directing that self-acceptance onwards,
Towards accepting ourselves unconditionally.
This is the key to developing self-acceptance,
To direct it both ways,
Onwards and outwards,
For in the deeper mind,
There is only one self,
No separation,
All is the self.
We have reached the end of the meditation.
You have done well.
When you open your eyes,
Remember to carry the state of self-acceptance into your life.
Self-acceptance is about accepting everything,
And when you carry that intention to accept,
It will promote balance,
Health,
And happiness.
Most importantly,
It will promote self-knowing,
Because what you cannot accept in life will always be a reflection of what you cannot accept about yourself.
