Welcome to a Jones in 4 breathwork and meditation.

Thank you so much for being here today.

In today's session,

We will work at controlling your breath and getting a calming and peaceful sensation across your entire body and your mind.

Let's get started.

First,

Get into a position that's comfortable for you.

That could mean that you're seated with your legs crossed or that you're lying down.

Whatever it is,

As long as it works for you,

It works for me.

Get into your position and then close your eyes.

Start to breathe in deeply.

Breathe in through the nose and you could exhale through your mouth or nose.

Your choice.

Just a nice,

Slow and gentle breath in.

Getting low in each breath,

Filling up your abdomen first and then your chest.

Filling up your lungs fully and then exhaling.

Do this one more time.

You start to feel your body calm down,

Your heart rate slowing.

That's all good.

Now with your breath,

Take a nice 10-count inhale and then hold for 10 counts.

We'll do it together.

Exhale.

Breathe in on one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five or halfway.

Keep breathing in.

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

Ten.

Hold for ten.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

Ten.

Now exhale.

Excellent job.

This time,

We're going to do the same thing except we're going to bump it up to 12 counts.

So breathe in.

First exhale everything you got.

Now breathe in.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

Ten and hold.

Keep holding.

There you go.

We're at four,

Five,

Six.

We're halfway.

Keep going.

Now you're going to do a controlled exhale for 12 counts.

Here you go.

And we're at six,

Seven.

Keep going.

Eight,

Nine,

Ten,

Eleven,

Twelve.

Just breathe normally for a little bit.

By the end of those 12 counts,

You should have exhaled everything you have.

We're going to do this one more time for 15 counts.

Exhale everything you got.

Controlled breath through your nose.

Here we go.

One,

Two,

Three.

Keep going.

And five.

We're at ten.

Keep going.

Eleven,

Twelve.

Keep going.

Thirteen,

Fourteen,

Fifteen.

Now hold for 15.

There you go.

Keep holding.

Good job.

We're at five.

Nice.

There you go.

We're at ten.

Almost there.

Eleven,

Twelve,

Thirteen,

Fourteen,

Fifteen.

Now exhale for fifteen.

One,

Two.

We're at ten,

Eleven,

Twelve,

Thirteen,

Fourteen,

Fifteen.

Breathe normally.

Good job.

That's hard to do.

It's hard to learn how to control your breath.

But the more you do it,

The more practice you have,

The better you will get.

So now keep your eyes closed.

Stay in your comfortable position.

Remembering to breathe in through the nose and out through the nose or mouth.

As you are seated or laying down,

I want you to imagine your body is turning blue.

A nice,

Clean,

Clear,

Beautiful blue color.

With each inhale,

You're breathing in the color blue.

With each exhale,

You're pushing that blue out throughout your body.

Making sure every part of it,

From your fingernails to your elbows to your abdomens to the crown of your head is blue.

Breathe in.

And exhale.

Keep breathing on your own count.

Remembering to breathe in blue,

Nice and deep.

Then exhale it out.

Good.

Keep going.

One more breath.

Excellent.

Your body should be this cool,

Clear blue color.

Just feel it all around your body.

Now change that color with every breath to a crisp,

Warm red color.

Something a deep,

Clear red.

So each inhale now you're breathing in red.

With each exhale,

Push it to the ends of your body.

Starting with your toes.

Turn your toes that deep,

Dark red color.

Good.

Keep breathing.

And start to work your way up the foot.

Turning your feet to that clear red.

Excellent.

Keep going.

From your feet up your shins and calves to your knees.

Good.

And then to your hips.

Taking your entire lower half,

This beautiful red color.

And then working up your abdomen and your lower back.

And up to your chest and your shoulders.

Each breath breathing in red.

And with each exhale,

Pushing that red out to your body to where you're filling it up.

Once your shoulders and your whole torso is nice,

Dark,

Clear red,

Go to your fingertips.

Start with the fingernails.

And work your way up to the knuckles,

To your palm and wrists.

And up to your elbows and shoulders.

Good work.

Keep breathing.

And then your neck to your chin.

Then your chin to your mouth.

Now to your nose.

Then your eyes.

Your forehead.

Now the back of your head,

Starting at the base of your neck,

Working your way up.

Good work.

Now,

Feel the crown of your head with that dark,

Clear,

Warm red color.

Once you're there,

Breathe.

Enjoy that red color,

That warmth that comes from it.

One more breath.

Excellent work,

Folks.

You can start to wiggle your toes,

Your fingers,

Then start awakening your body and open your eyes.

Welcome back.

Thank you so much for joining today's breathwork and meditation.

I truly hope you like it.

And if you do,

Please let us know.

Have an amazing day.

1) I love that I have the freedom to choose in your meditations. I trust myself to choose how to sit/lay and breath out. Simple, but very important to me 2) This is the first time I was able to do breath work this well. I did the whole 15. I really felt great afterward too. It set me up well for the next part 3) I loved the blue to red. When I first thought “red” my mind said “red is a scary color” but then I reassured myself that colors are not bad. It got me thinking how society puts labels on things. Filling my body with red made me think of all the amazing things that are red. Things I put in my body like apples and tomatoes. Things I sense in other ways: roses, my dog’s beloved Kong toy, Clifford the big red dog! I don’t think anything in this world is “good” or “bad.” I think it’s interesting how we can use stereotypes to label people and symbolism that labels objects. Very interesting take always here... I feel amazing after filling my body with these colors and really connecting with the universe through the meditation. Thank you Spencer 4) my dog enjoyed it too lol! Between your voice and my energy, he was all relaxed and sprawled out 🐶
