If you would be as comfortable as possible,

Just let's close our eyes and just feel the breath moving through your body,

Whole body,

Body resting on whatever you're resting on,

Remembering that closing the eyes doesn't mark the beginning of consciousness.

Closing the eyes doesn't mark the beginning of anything.

With the eyes closed or open,

Consciousness,

Ever present,

Ourselves already present,

Breath comes and goes,

The earth underneath you doesn't come or go anywhere.

Just like that,

Consciousness never coming or going is constant.

Getting lost is only a thought,

An idea.

Getting lost in the thought,

We fall asleep to ourselves,

The awareness itself.

But to fall asleep,

Already you have to be conscious,

Then conscious of a thought.

First,

You have to be.

So,

Existence is already effortless,

Regardless of all the thoughts coming and going.

Only one thing is existing.

The thoughts on their own have no existence.

All happening in awareness,

Consciousness,

No thought can exist on its own.

If the object of the thought,

The body only exists for some time,

Then what to talk of the thought of the object,

All that's existing,

Seeing,

Tasting,

Touching,

Smelling in and through everything is consciousness.

Now,

Just listening to the silence.

If you're hearing something,

Just wait for the sound to disappear.

You don't have to wait for silence.

You have to wait for the sound to disappear.

The sound will always disappear,

But the silence never disappears.

Always present,

Regardless of all the sounds,

Silence like the earth beneath you and the consciousness that we are,

Ever constant,

Ever reached,

Always present,

Ever the same.

There's no time when silence,

Consciousness,

The elements,

Earth,

Fire,

Water,

Air,

Space,

Are not.

There's no time when consciousness is not.

Even falling asleep,

In the thought at night,

Deep sleep,

Waking up,

Consciousness is already there,

Already present during and in and through deep sleep.

Consciousness waits for you to wake up.

If at all you are asleep,

Taking yourself to be a thought,

When the thought wakes up,

Catch yourself before you can even have a thought.

You already are awake long before the thought arrives and wakes up.

You already are present.

Catch yourself.

Waking up is only a thought,

Not who you are.

A thought can never be who you are.
