As comfortable as you can be.
Let's just close our eyes.
And just feeling the breath moving through the nostrils.
Feel the body resting on the earth.
Breath comes and goes,
Like the tides of the ocean,
Rising and subsiding the breath coming and going effortlessly.
Reminds you,
By becoming aware of the breath,
It's not some meditation practice.
Closing the eyes doesn't mark the beginning of meditation.
Then opening the eyes would mean the end of meditation,
Which is not true.
Meditation is continuous,
Not a practice.
You are the meditation itself.
Already conscious,
Just by closing our eyes,
Doesn't make us conscious.
Conscious with the eyes closed or open.
Breath coming and going,
Observing the breath,
Just reminds you of your presence.
Already there,
Is the eternal presence,
For which no practice is needed.
No practice can make you more the eternal than you are already.
The whole existence is going on effortlessly.
Body resting on the earth,
Earth supporting the body,
Without any effort whatsoever.
The whole creation is going on effortlessly.
Heart beating effortlessly.
There is no conflict between yourself and the body.
There's no conflict between you and nature,
Creation.
Call it nature,
Call it creation.
Name it what you like.
The whole arrangement is going on effortlessly.
Breath just coming and going,
Feeling its coolness in the nostrils.
Just by focusing on the nostrils,
Feel its coolness there.
Now just move your awareness to the back of your throat.
Feel the breath in the back of the throat.
Feel the coolness is now in the back of the throat.
There's no friction anywhere.
Now just moving your awareness to your lungs.
Feel the breathing in the lungs.
Coolness is now in the lungs.
It's no longer in the back of the throat.
Just by moving our awareness,
Life force,
Energy,
Prana moves.
Wherever we place our awareness,
Our attention is where prana goes.
Meanwhile the earth's gravity drawing us like a huge magnet into the earth holds us on the earth.
Embracing us like a child,
The mother earth embraces you already.
Unconditionally,
The whole creation is supporting everything we do without effort.
Coming back to the nostrils,
Feeling the breath in the nostrils.
Feel its coolness again,
Back in the nostrils.
Meanwhile you haven't gone anywhere.
All we're doing is moving our awareness.
Conscious already present is ourselves.
Regardless of any thoughts we might be having,
Consciousness already present,
That presence in which everything is present.
Already whole and complete.
All that's making us feel incomplete,
If at all we feel lacking in any way,
Is the thought,
I.
Feeling incomplete without something,
Thinking I need to complete myself.
I chase around the world trying to find completeness,
Which is never there.
Only the thought of completeness being somewhere else,
The thought of incompleteness makes me feel incomplete without that.
But it is only a thought.
A thought is never the truth.
Being something we have happening in our presence,
Thoughts,
Ideas,
Are just that.
Happening in our presence,
Already present before the thought arrives,
Before the thought becomes an idea we already are existing with or without the thoughts.
With and without any of the ideas we are having.
We are already complete.
The completeness itself.
There is nothing we can do to make us more complete than we already are.
No practice or yoga or meditation can make you more complete than the completeness that you are already.
All they can do is remind you.
But if I don't know what completeness means and I keep looking for it everywhere,
Having looked in the world and not found it anywhere,
Looking for it inside thoughts,
Practices,
Ideas,
Still looking,
The one looking is being ignored.
Until we understand ourselves we will keep on looking,
Never finding it.
Let go the need to do anything.
Let go the need to undo anything.
Let go of the need to let go.
And feel how effortless it is being here.
No.
Nothing is needed.
Thinking completeness or happiness lies anywhere else.
We keep ignoring the one looking,
The ones searching,
Seeking completeness everywhere,
Ourselves.
As long as we ignore ourselves in the search for completeness,
Truth,
We never find it.
No one has ever found it anywhere else.
If I am already the completeness looking anywhere else,
How successful am I going to be?
I can only end up disappointed,
Taking my own self for granted,
My own existence ignored.
I will keep on struggling,
Treading water in the ocean of bliss,
Ocean of nectar,
Ocean of truth,
Is one thing.
I,
Not knowing itself,
Feeling separate and apart,
Excluding itself from the totality this I keeps on treading water.
Until we question and want to know the source,
We keep on looking.
Meanwhile,
The one looking is ignored.
Just like we ignore,
Take for granted,
Gravity holding us on the earth,
We take our body for granted.
When was the last time you remembered your body?
With your ears listening?
When was the last time you remembered yourself?
Taking ourselves for granted can never find completeness.
Now just listening to the sounds around us,
Any sound will do.
Listening to the sounds,
We forget about the silence in between the sounds.
So used to listening to sounds,
Silence is forgotten.
Taken for granted is the silence ever present,
Regardless of all the sounds.
Silence alone exists.
The sounds don't exist,
Appearing to exist for some time.
All the sounds eventually disappear into the silence from which they came.
Taking the sounds to be more important,
We forget about the silence.
Same silence now existing.
Everywhere is the same silence that has ever existed,
Never changing.
No sound can ever disturb or drown silence.
It only appears as though the sound is drowning silence.
But it's all just an appearance happening in the presence of silence.
No matter how many sounds come and go,
No matter how big or loud the sound,
Silence accommodating all sounds,
Giving dimension to all sounds,
Alone exists.
Just like silence,
All the objects,
Forms,
Appearing in space,
Appearing to exist and move around space for some time,
Seeing only the objects and forms,
We forget about the space.
Space,
Like silence,
Gets taken for granted.
Yet,
No matter how many forms appear to exist in space,
Existing far longer,
Than any of the forms,
No form can ever outspace space or survive space.
Space alone survives,
Like silence.
Space endures.
No form can ever last forever.
Any form,
Whether it's a flower or a body,
No matter what form or size the form takes,
No form can ever disturb the space or outspace space.
Nothing can destroy space.
But we take space for granted.
Only seeing the forms,
We ignore the space,
Giving dimension to all the forms,
Accommodating everything.
Space is ignored.
Just like that.
Accommodating all thoughts and ideas,
Consciousness is ignored.
We don't see consciousness.
We only see the thoughts and ideas.
Getting lost in all the thoughts and ideas,
We ignore ourselves,
The one having the ideas,
Having the thoughts,
Giving dimension to all the ideas and thoughts is yourself in the consciousness itself.
No thought has ever been more meaningful than you are to yourself.
No thought can or ever will be more important than you,
The thinker of the thought.
You are the meaning of every thought and idea.
There is no other meaning to anything.
Taking all the thoughts and ideas,
Taking everything else to be more meaningful than we are,
We forget ourselves the most meaningful.
The meaning itself,
Without which nothing is meaningful.
Without you everything is meaningless.
Without you existing in it,
This whole creation,
The universe,
Is meaningless.
Subtler than all the sounds and forms appearing in space and silence is you,
The enjoyer,
The perceiver.
Subtler than all that,
Subtler than the subtlest,
Subtler than all that exists is the Self,
The enjoyer.
Consciousness,
Changeless,
Timeless,
Immortal.
There is no time when consciousness does not exist.
There is no time when you are not present.
Be that,
Presence,
Changeless and eternal,
Always,
In all times,
All traces.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Se guru pyona mahe hai Thank you.
