As you listen to this Yoga Nidra session.
It is my desire to inspire you to think about the food and nutritional aspects of sleeping.
That can have a positive effect on you.
Put down certain things at certain times.
Eat more or less of other things.
The melatonin boosting foods that you eat help you sleep and go deeper.
Just choices to choose choices that are healthier for you.
Eat healthier.
Increases your ability to sleep deeper.
You exercise in a way that increases your ability to sleep deeply and refreshing.
You let go of the patterns and the worries and anxieties allowing you to sleep deeper.
During your sleep your body heals itself on a physical level.
Many levels physically,
Mentally.
Your mind calms.
Your mind clears.
And you but more relax into this Yoga Nidra session for deep sleep.
Because as you relax into this session just allows you to drift off at the end.
So that you wake up fully refreshed at the end of a good sleep.
Before you relax into this Yoga Nidra session deeply notice the feelings of relaxation all over your body.
First notice at the very tips of your toes.
Wiggle the tips of your toes.
Feel on your toes.
Tense the muscles and the soles of your feet and release.
And stretch and tense and release.
Wiggling and spreading your toes.
The heel of your foot is engaged as much as possible for you.
Feel how stretching your feet and ankles can move and stretch and flex.
And feel,
Feel right deep down into your heel.
And feel the very soles of your feet,
Ankles and moving to the calf muscles.
You can feel relaxing and as you tense the muscles in your calf.
Wiggle your toes and move your ankles and tense the muscles in your calf and release them.
All the way down to your toes.
Again crunch up the toes and the feet and the calf muscles all tense.
Release those muscles.
Completely relax.
From the side of your shin to your feet and calf muscles.
You can notice your heel,
Shin and knee.
And behind the knee are the muscles that you can focus on tensing and releasing next.
Your attention on the back of your knees and squeeze.
And relax the muscles all the way down your legs,
Ankles and toes.
Deeply relax the muscles of the side of your thighs.
You can place your attention on next to the muscles in your thighs or the front of your thighs.
You can stretch and tense as you stretch all the way down to your toes.
Stretch those muscles and relax all the muscles in your legs.
And the muscles in the back of your thighs.
You can notice as you tense the thigh muscles all the way down to your toe muscles.
Squeeze and tense the buttock muscles as you squeeze and release.
And as you tense the muscles in your buttocks and thighs and legs and feet all the way down.
Relaxing,
Squeeze and relax.
And tense the muscles in your buttocks and thighs and legs and ankles and feet.
Squeeze and relax.
Squeeze the muscles in the top of your legs and thighs,
Hips,
Buttocks all the way down to your toes.
Stretch,
Squeeze and relax.
Go with those worries from the lower vibration and thought planes.
Dissolve as you sleep and focus instead on what you do want.
And how you want to achieve those things.
And what the results look like and feel like.
And how you relax and focus on those as you sleep.
And as you dream the dreams,
The places and the future that you want to go.
Yoga and yoga.
As you focus just below your tense the muscles there.
And behind the buttocks and release.
Tense the muscles again next to your navel and buttocks and up towards your stomach.
And release.
And one more time,
The navel,
Buttocks,
Chest all the way coming up to the shoulders and release.
Noticing the heart center and being aware of there is where you feel the most amount of wonderful love and emotion for certain things in the world.
And tense the muscles in the top of your chest and shoulders and be aware of your heart muscle all the way down to your hips and stomach and navel,
Backs.
Tense the muscles in your shoulders,
Gently tense those and be aware of your neck and squeeze the muscles in your neck and relax them.
Showing your body the way from tense to relax.
Showing your body the way to relax.
As you notice the muscles around your jaw,
Move your jaw and feel it as you squeeze those muscles and then relax them.
Muscles in the neck and the jaw,
Feel and relax them.
Relax those muscles of the side of your face from your jaw.
Squeeze and tense those muscles in your face and relax them.
Relax them.
Muscles around the eyes and the forehead,
Squeeze and tense and relax.
As you one more time notice the muscles in your forehead and around your eyes and tense those muscles,
Being aware of the top of your head.
Relax all those muscles all the way down to the tips of your toes.
And from the top of your head,
Tense the muscles all the way down your neck and shoulders,
Arms,
All the way to your fingers.
Notice the muscles in your forehead and jaw and shoulders and to the arms,
All the way down your arms to your fingers and relax.
From the top of your crown chakra all the way down your forehead,
Jaw,
Chest,
Stomach and navel,
Buttocks,
Thighs,
Calves and toes,
All stretched and relax.
No more stretching,
Just relaxing as you relax your body.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold that breath for as long as is right for you.
Your lungs to the depths of your solar plexus,
Fill up your lungs from the bottom.
Third,
Deep breath in,
Hold for as long as is appropriate for you.
Fill your lungs with oxygen,
And as you are aware of your relaxing body,
You can notice your breath softening your body.
Very top of your head,
Mixing a wave of colorful deep relaxation.
And from the very top of your head,
A bright blue light relaxation and healing.
You can notice simply spreading top of your head,
Waves of healing relaxation.
Your chest,
Your stomach and head muscles deeply relax,
Feet and feel relaxing,
Feeling relaxing you down into the safety of Gaia,
Mother Earth.
Healing and relaxing,
Refreshing and rejuvenating you are part of this ecosystem.
Relax and sleep the happy dreams.
As you breathe out,
And as you relax,
And as you notice the relaxing feeling,
Relaxing down,
Deep down,
Into this space for sleep.
