So if you'll just allow yourselves to begin settling from however the day has been,
And perhaps just before we begin,
We can gather in our sense of gratitude for being able to be here and practice together and maybe connect to what it is that brings us to practice.
What is it for us that brings us to our practice each day or when we do practice?
And just allowing ourselves to be here.
Not trying to change the recent past,
The past of the day so far,
Or recent events of the days before.
But however you are,
Just acknowledging that,
Noticing any story that you're carrying with you.
And rather than trying to push story away and to create a sense of meditation or spiritual experience,
Just allowing yourselves to arrive,
To be here.
Accepting your mental state for what it is.
Accepting your emotions for how they are.
As kindly as you can,
Meeting your body and accepting it.
When we feel our feet on the floor,
Our weight in the seat,
Allowing ourselves to naturally be upright if we're sitting,
Allowing ourselves to be long if we're lying down,
The length of the spine,
The space in the spine,
Shoulders and shoulder blades,
The upper arms,
Forearms,
Hands,
Fingers,
The upper thoracic curve,
The back of the neck,
The back of the head,
Top of the head and the sides of the head.
And allowing our forehead to be easy,
Our eyes to be easy,
Our mouth and jaw to be easy,
Allowing the throat center to be easy,
Upper chest,
The area over the heart,
The abdomen,
Your whole body.
And noticing that even with all the content of the mind,
The emotions,
The body,
The body are aware,
Without effort,
Are simply aware.
And all this experience takes place in awareness.
And so we become aware of the breath moving the body.
The abdomen or at the chest.
The pulsation of life in the body as breath.
And we just allow our awareness to gather around the anchor of the breath.
The sound of close strawberry candy,
Strawberry candy,
Strawberry candy,
Strawberry candy,
And if mind is busy,
There's a lot of content and you attach to it.
And simply allowing awareness to come back in as soon as you notice that you've been caught.
It's not a bad thing.
It's not something to recoil or react about or feel you've got anything wrong or make a story from.
But as soon as you notice,
Allow yourself to come back to awareness of the movement of the breath in the body.
Same is true with the emotions.
This in fact is the practice.
The simple allowing of awareness when we notice that we've got caught up in things.
Some of you may be busy doing,
Or you want to de-bind yourself from the mind.
And perhaps you can let this gathering awareness move more through you as you come into awareness you notice a little more space between and behind your thoughts perhaps some space around your emotions perhaps some space around our relationship with our bodies and the stories of our lives.
I can allow rather than push allow ourselves to be aware of the awareness rather than the thoughts and the feelings or as well as our thoughts and feelings.
I can allow rather than push allow ourselves to be aware of the awareness rather than the feelings or the feelings or the feelings or the feelings or the feelings or the feelings or the feelings of our lives.
How awareness brings a sense of cleaning of newness.
Spring cleaning our lives with awareness.
Dusting between the thoughts.
Cleaning the windows so that the light can shine.
Cleaning with greater ease.
Cleaning the windows so that the light can shine.
Cleaning the windows so that the light can shine.
Cleaning the windows so that the light can shine.
Cleaning the windows so that the light can shine.
Recognizing yourself as awareness.
As well as your thoughts and your feelings.
Your body and your timeline.
And the stories of your life.
And the stories of your life.
And the stories of your life.
And the stories of your life.
Recognizing that awareness.
Recognizing everything that we are.
And allowing ourselves to return to that uncreated awareness.
Each time we get too tight or caught up or dominated by thought and reaction.
Breath by breath.
And day by day.
And day by day.
And day by day.
And day by day.
And by each of us attending to our practice in our noble way.
It benefits all beings.
Each person that we know and come into contact with.
And everyone that we don't know.
It benefits the whole world.
And we need to hear what it's all about.
