We're going to come in through the gateway of the body.
So we just check in with ourselves a little bit.
We know where we are.
We know what time of day it is.
We're aware of our feelings and our thoughts.
We just let everything be okay.
Anything that's calling our attention that we think we might need to be doing.
We're just letting go of it for 20 or 25 minutes.
Taking this time to care for ourselves.
To experience the truth of our being.
Because of that,
We become our most useful to the people in our lives.
To the world that we move through.
And to the earth itself.
Becoming aware of our feet.
Not creating them with our minds.
Knowing our feet from the inside.
Just knowing that they're there.
Because we are alive.
Notice how life is this foot shape.
The life that's there.
We become aware of our ankles the same way from inside.
Not thinking about them or trying to create them.
Just knowing with awareness.
Let our feet and our ankles be soft.
Every cell.
Every atom that makes the cells.
Space between those atoms,
Skin,
Flesh,
Blood,
Bones.
All the space that's inside.
Each cell.
Each atom of the foot and the ankle.
The middle of the calves.
Shins.
Knees.
Feeling the space.
The creative force that fills that space.
Thighs.
Our seat.
Against the chair or against the floor.
Against the meditation cushion.
Lowest point of our spine.
Space and creativity.
Between every cell.
Between every atom.
Every electron.
Inside.
Those tiny units.
The space.
As if there's a light there.
The lowest point of the spine.
Moving up.
Behind your navel,
Your belly button.
Behind your heart.
Space.
Fullness.
Creation.
Behind your throat.
Soft.
Full.
Spacious.
The middle of your brain.
The crown of your head.
Letting yourself experience.
This fullness.
This spaciousness.
This light inside you.
Your whole head.
Filled.
With this light.
This space.
Eyes soft.
Jaw soft.
Lips,
Chin,
Throat.
Right shoulder.
Left shoulder.
Right arm.
Upper left arm.
Right forearm.
Left forearm.
Right hand and all the fingers.
Left hand and all the fingers.
Whole body.
Every cell.
The atoms that make the cells.
The parts of the atoms.
Space between everything.
Filled with light.
Space.
Eternal presence.
Beginning to notice.
Your mind projects.
Thoughts rise up.
Some go.
Some connect.
Create a person.
Create an action.
Noticing that process.
Noticing that you can notice.
How it is this fullness of you that notices.
Where is this fullness?
Where is it located in you?
How the emotions attach to thought.
To create an image of the self.
An identity.
An action.
A belief.
Just being aware of that process.
And again.
Noticing that you notice that process.
Where is this witness?
Who is this witness?
And even this act of witnessing.
You are aware of.
The witness itself is witnessed.
Feel that space.
Feet on the floor.
Life that's there.
Space in them.
Light.
Ankles.
Your calves.
Knees.
Eyes.
Your seat.
Your spine.
Your lowest point.
Behind the belly button.
Behind the heart.
Behind the throat.
The middle of your brain.
The crown of your head.
Filled with light.
Truth.
Presence.
Right shoulder and left shoulder.
Right arm.
Left arm.
Whole back of your body.
Whole front of your body.
Everything inside the body.
The organs.
The space.
In every cell.
In every atom.
The light inside.
The sense of presence.
The witnessing of that presence.
Space that it all takes place in.
Extending that awareness.
Into the room that we're in.
To the other people that are here.
Not creating them.
But just knowing.
By thought.
By feeling.
Just knowing.
This presence.
Of this light.
We move out to the whole building.
Our presence filling the whole building.
The building itself.
Fabric of the building.
The air.
Every other person and creature and being in it.
Streets around this building.
Whole town.
Space above this town.
This county.
This little country.
See there are no borders.
No limit.
Only presence.
Continent.
Across Europe.
Forests.
Seas.
People and animals.
See the whole planet in space.
The air.
Atmosphere.
The oceans.
Everybody on it.
Same presence.
Same space.
And we move out.
Everything exists.
In everything that exists.
Same awareness.
Same creative force.
Loving.
Eternal.
Full.
Not creating this by thought.
Simply by witnessing who you really are.
Allowing everything to be as it is.
If we get lost.
If the mind gets strong and creates a feeling about what we're supposed to be doing.
Who we are.
We just return to the gateway of the body.
To the breath coming and going.
Love and forgiveness.
Fully here.
Fully present.
Moment to moment.
And yet eternal.
Feet on the floor.
Your legs.
The weight of your seat.
Your back rising up.
Right shoulder and arm.
Left shoulder and arm.
Back of the head.
Whole head.
Upper chest.
Whole chest.
Vitamin.
Reproductive organs.
Whole body.
Everything inside.
Filled with light and space.
Aware of the truth of who we are.
Aware of the truth of who everybody is.
Just enjoying this light and this love.
Aware of the sounds outside this room.
Sounds inside.
Aware of the other people in this room.
Aware of yourself sitting here.
Aware of your breath coming and going in your body.
Breath coming in.
Taking your time.
Letting this practice be for yourself.
For all beings.
And for the world itself.
When you're ready.
Allowing yourself to be back in this room.
And open your eyes.
