Our words and the energy we put behind them are powerful, so it is important to choose them wisely and as much as possible infuse them with kindness, compassion, and love. Welcome to the Inner Dialogue Elevation Meditation.

My name is Johnny and I am honored to be your guide today.

Find a comfortable seated or reclined position.

Allow your eyes to soften close.

Let your body relax and begin to breathe with deep full inhales and fluid smooth exhales.

As you relax and breathe,

Simply listen as we explore the focus of today's meditation,

Which we are centering on the elevation of our inner dialogue.

In the early 2000s,

A doctor named Dr.

Emoto conducted a study to learn more about the impact of our words and the intentions we place behind them.

For this study,

He did an experiment in which he used samples of water.

He took half the samples of water and labeled them with negative words,

And he shouted at the water with cruel,

Hateful speech.

He froze the samples and then looked at the water molecules under a microscope.

All of the molecules were shattered,

Fragmented,

And broken.

He took the other half of the samples of water and labeled them with positive words,

And he spoke over the water with words of affirmation and love.

He froze the samples and then looked at the water molecules under a microscope.

All of the molecules had formed into beautiful crystalline structures that were almost too perfect to be real.

The conclusion that came out of this study is that our words and the intention and energy we put behind them are powerful.

So,

We must choose them wisely,

And as much as possible,

Infuse them with kindness,

Compassion,

Encouragement,

And love.

Now,

With this information in mind,

Take a moment of mindful reflection and consider,

How do you sometimes speak to yourself,

About yourself,

And the world around you in ways that are harsh,

Disempowering,

Cruel,

And ultimately unnecessary?

Take a few moments to contemplate.

Now,

Without invalidating or denying any real feelings or emotions,

Consider how could you speak to yourself,

About yourself,

And the world around you in ways that are softer,

Kinder,

Lighter,

And more empowering?

What are some phrases or affirmations that could uplift you?

For example,

I am strong.

I am capable.

I have great potential.

I will find my way.

Despite everything,

I choose to find beauty and good in my life and world.

Take a few moments to contemplate.

Now,

For the rest of our meditation,

We will simply breathe and silently recite these words of affirmation to ourselves within.

As you inhale,

Silently say to yourself one of your affirmations,

Like,

I am strong.

And as you exhale,

Silently say to yourself another of your affirmations,

Like,

I find beauty and good in my life and world.

Once you run out of affirmations,

Simply start again with the first affirmation and repeat,

Playing these affirmations in tandem with your breath.

Allow the affirmations to flow effortlessly alongside your breath.

If your mind wanders,

Simply acknowledge whatever thought has come up,

And without judgment or frustration,

Just kindly dismiss it.

Then,

Gently bring your attention back to your deep breaths and the repetition of your affirmations.

Breathing deeply and reciting one affirmation.

Breathing deeply and reciting another affirmation,

And so on and so forth.

And feeling this positive inner shift grow as you do.

Continue here for a little while.

As you breathe and meditate,

I will mind the time.

Now,

You can release the repetition of your affirmations.

Notice how you feel.

Has there been an inner shift towards contentment,

Hope,

Empowerment,

And or optimism?

To be clear,

This practice is not meant to erase or deny any feelings or emotions categorized as negative,

Dark,

Or hard.

Simply,

It provides us with a tool to navigate all of those inner experiences in a healthy transformative way.

Through this practice,

You have gained a better understanding of the power of your thought and spoken words,

And you have practiced using words that elevate.

Now,

You can continue with this growth in your everyday life.

To conclude,

Let's take one more deep inhale and full exhale.

As you are ready,

You can open your eyes.

Thank you so much for allowing me to guide your practice.

It has been my honor.

Be well.
