So friends,
We'll do a practice now that continues what we've been looking at today,
Looking at suffering,
What it is,
Its causes,
And how we can move beyond it.
So I'll guide this practice.
So finding a position will be comfortable for you for the next 30 minutes.
Checking in with your body,
Attending consciously and in awareness to any part of your body that says,
Look at me,
Look at me.
As it says that,
With an open heart,
Tell that part of your body,
I see you,
I care.
When feeling tone arises for you,
Pleasant or unpleasant,
Or neutral if you can see it.
Notice how the feeling tone in its own way is saying,
Look at me,
Attend to me.
And as you see it,
Tell the feeling tone,
I see you,
I care.
Even if the feeling tone is unpleasant,
I see you,
I care.
Not energizing it,
But not pushing it away.
Just memories,
Recognitions,
Perceptions come into the mind and announce themselves,
Look at me,
I see you,
I care.
Thank you for being here.
When thoughts appear in the mind,
Like a sound would appear at the ear,
Or a sight would appear at the eye.
When the thought announces itself,
Look at me,
Pay attention to me.
Think of me from a place of awareness,
Say,
I see you,
I care.
Thank you.
For each sense consciousness that makes you aware of it.
Most don't,
You know,
But a few will.
Maybe in this moment it's the sound of my voice.
That's a sense consciousness,
Isn't it?
And it's saying,
Pay attention.
You may even wish to imagine bowing.
Bowing to your body and what it is to say,
Bowing to the feelings and what they have to say,
To the perceptions,
To the thoughts and the feelings,
To the consciousnesses.
And allow the aggregates to drop the model of being five distinct aggregates,
Five things.
There are not five things,
Are there?
There's only this.
Right now,
This.
And with our clear mind and our open heart to open to this right now,
I see you,
I bow to you,
I honor you,
Thank you.
And allowing your awareness,
This I see you place,
Allowing this place to become the ground,
The foundation.
This is your true nature.
This is who you really are.
The aggregates are the visitors.
They're the things they're passing through.
They're the clouds in the boundless blue sky.
Now a sensation,
Now a thought,
Now a feeling tone.
Each a visitor,
Each here,
But for a moment.
Each here is a visitor in our home,
Our awareness.
Okay.
Feel the stability of this awareness.
And although no words are needed,
Some may come,
Some may resonate more.
Contentment.
Stillness.
Silence.
Connection.
Love.
Joy.
Compassion.
Wisdom.
Flow.
Peace.
Kindness.
Caring.
Appreciation.
Gratitude.
Completeness.
Spaciousness.
Freedom.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
You are that.
