Imagine your 'nemesis hole' or a hole you have had difficulty with in the past and use your imagination to change your mindset on how you approach this hole. Your subconscious mind works with feelings and memories so use good feelings of your 'favorite' hole, or a recent good hole, and anchor these feelings and memories to the difficult/nemesis hole. Change your mind, change the hole. This can become your favorite hole if you train the subconscious mind to believe it is so. Use the power of your mind to play this hole better and better by anchoring good feelings and memories to revise this into your best hole from this point on.

In this golf visualization meditation,

We are going to take a moment to turn your nemesis hole into one of your favorite holes.

And we are going to do that by getting into your creative brainwave state.

You just quiet the mind,

Breathe in and out,

And we are going to begin to feel into your imagination.

Feel into making this nemesis hole a much better hole for you.

And really you can do this with any hole on the golf course.

You can do this anytime by visualizing a hole that you recently played very well or your favorite hole on the golf course.

Because generally you have much better feelings associated with your favorite hole and the hole that has better outcomes.

So you can either in your imagination in this meditation take a moment and feel the last time and remember in your mind the last time you played your favorite hole or a really good hole.

And we are going to anchor in those feelings and anchor in that confidence and anchor in the appreciation for that favorite hole or that great hole you had.

We're going to take those feelings and put them in to your imagination when you play your nemesis hole.

When you are ready,

Close your eyes and we're going to take just one minute to relax into an alpha state of mind.

Tapping into your creative mind,

Your subconscious mind,

Where visualization is king.

Where feeling is the secret.

And in golf feeling is so important.

Feeling has to override your thoughts because the game is happening.

Your swing is happening so fast that there is no way your conscious mind can keep up.

So we turn to our subconscious mind and directly train it so you feel into the confidence.

You feel into the swing.

You feel into the gratefulness of playing this game,

This beautiful game of golf.

And as you listen to my voice you are getting more and more into this alpha state of mind because you are focusing on my voice and you are focusing on my words and you are becoming more and more relaxed with your eyes closed as you are visualizing a hole that you have been having trouble with.

Maybe it's on your home course.

This nemesis hole.

I want you just to quickly don't dwell in it but be aware.

Awareness is everything.

Be aware that this hole brings up some negative feelings or some negative thoughts and just be aware of them without judgment.

What kind of thoughts do you have when you come up to this hole and as you play this hole again just take a moment or two to think this through.

Also as you think this through feel into being on this golf course.

What's the weather like today?

What does the sky look like?

What does the hole itself look like?

The trees,

The grass,

The bunkers.

How do your feet feel in your shoes?

How does your hand feel in your glove?

How does your hands feel gripping a club?

Are you driving or walking?

Are you a passenger?

Are you the driver?

Feel into playing on this golf course today in your imagination.

And again you can do this very quickly because your imagination does not know time.

So now play this hole as you did last or what you remember how you normally play it.

And now I want you to go to your favorite hole or the last hole you played very well and you felt very good and very confident.

When you lock in that memory I want you to play it through in your mind.

Imagine this hole in your mind right now off the tee box.

Feeling into this moment.

Feel the emotions of confidence.

Feel the appreciation and the likeness that you have for this hole.

And then watch your ball go down the fairway effortlessly and feel into how good it feels to play this hole.

Zone in on what that feeling is like and how it feels in your body and how your posture is as you go from shot to shot with this confidence and this knowing that this is one of your best holes.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Feel,

Feel,

Feel the confidence right now that you have and that is very alive inside of you.

And now I want you to take this good feeling,

This confident feeling and place yourself back on your nemesis or harder hole or the hole you have trouble with often on your golf course.

And now I want you to feel like you're on the other hole.

I want you to feel that confidence.

Feel that confidence in your body,

That upright posture that you have,

That knowing that you can par this hole or that you can play this hole very well.

You always play this hole very well but you look up and you see it is the hole you have trouble with but not today and not moving forward because now as you stand at the tee box and look at this beautiful hole you begin to appreciate it in a whole new way.

You begin to look at more specific details and notice little things that you never even noticed before.

Take a moment and point out a couple things in your imagination that you really like about this hole,

The beauty of the hole.

Maybe there's water,

Maybe there's bunkers along the side.

What do you feel when you see certain obstacles of this hole?

I want you to now see between these obstacles and the opportunities that are here on this hole for you to master.

Feel into the opportunity and know exactly how to play this hole in your mind right now.

So with confidence and a gratefulness for being able to play this hole right now in your imagination,

You appreciate this opportunity and you appreciate this hole for its challenge but also for you to be able to master right here and right now.

And with the confidence you have on another hole that you enjoy playing,

You are taking that confidence with you right here in this moment.

I want you to play this hole in your imagination by choosing the right club and you will know the right club for you right here and right now and you pick out that club and you go through your pre-shot routine like you always do.

You are not thinking about anything but hitting the ball straight down the fairway and you look and you see exactly where this ball is going to go.

And again noticing this hole in a whole different light,

You see the opening.

You see exactly where you want to hit this ball and know that it is the best option for you.

And so you go ahead and you line yourself up to the ball.

You swing the club effortlessly and watch as the ball goes exactly as you intended.

Continue to play this hole in your mind perfectly.

Feel yourself there.

Feel each swing.

Take your time.

Play this hole perfectly with each swing and keep feeling into the confidence and feeling into the gratitude and the appreciation you have for overcoming this challenging hole in your imagination right now.

Now knowing you can take this confidence with you and these different feelings,

These new feelings on this hole,

Feel into this and the subconscious mind will remember that this hole now is one of your favorites.

You appreciate the beauty of this hole.

You appreciate the challenge of this hole but you also know how to master this hole.

You will remember this confidence.

You will remember this great feeling of getting to play this hole today.

And having this confidence and taking this with you and knowing again that your subconscious mind will feel into this state again and again and more and more as we train the subconscious mind,

You can begin to come back to the now and open your eyes.
