Hello,

My name is Joanne and today we're going to learn about chanting Varapash.

Varapash is also called the primordial sound and light from origins.

It is considered the first sound and is casual,

Meaning that it created everything else.

It is a thought to transcend all polarity.

It is beyond the masculine and feminine,

Creation and destruction,

Manifestation or non-manifestation and it is beyond every other concept of separation and polarity that exists in the mind.

Sound is believed to be the origin of all matter and creation and is thought to create,

Manifest and set in motion all things,

All matter,

All dimensions and all creation.

This sound is referred to in nearly every single religious text and it is also referred to in physics and cosmology by different names and different descriptors.

The sound of Parivash can strengthen our source vibration within us because it is a sound that is a part of us.

It can be a very powerful technique indeed.

To make this experience better and more fulfilling,

Visualize your body,

Soul and light body coming into a greater harmony.

Imagine and feel how you are aligning your entire life to the source and to the original harmony as we chant Parivash.

So let's start.

Sit in a nice comfortable meditative pose,

Whether that be lotus,

Or on a meditation cushion or a chair,

But just ensure your spine is upright,

Flexible and straight,

But relaxed not rigid.

Let's take three nice deep breaths in and out.

Now with the next deep breath,

Breathe in and then on the exhale,

Chant the sound Parivash.

So in,

And you can allow these words to flow seamlessly into the next and finish the entire word when you finish your exhale.

But when you elongate the words,

You can then tone.

So you go Pa-ra-vash,

All on the exhale.

So let's repeat this primal sound and see how long you can make your exhale.

Really let the sound extend and elongate through the vowel extension.

As you're chanting,

You will feel the vibration of this word in your body,

Through into your heart and then on into your mind.

Feel it resound through your light body while visualizing this part of you.

Let this mantra resound through your entire self and your entire self includes all aspects of you,

Including the layers that are invisible,

Such as your light body.

So let's try this for a few minutes now.

And ultimately,

It's good to get up to about 21 minutes.

But to start,

You just do it for as long or a shorter period that works for you.

And then see if you can work up to the full 21 minutes.

During this time,

You may need to change your position.

And that is absolutely fine.

You need to stay relaxed and comfortable.

So let's continue with our chanting.

Namaste.
