Turtle Sings To The Frogs In The River
There is a hiking trail at Kulaniapia Falls (Big Island of Hawaii) that follows the river downstream, where there are several smaller waterfalls, and a number of benches and lookout spots. Here I recorded a solo flute improvisation from a bench by the river, in the late afternoon when the coqui frogs start their evening chorus. It's a very soothing track with the sounds of the river and small waterfall, and a chorus of late afternoon coqui frogs interacting with the sound of my custom “sea turtle” Native American Style flute in A minor. This track is best listened to at a low to medium volume, similar to a quiet walk by the stream.
