Welcome to your throat meditation,
Vishuddha.
So find a comfortable seat where you won't be disturbed.
Your spine is nice and straight and tall.
Gently closing your eyes and tuning into your breath.
As always,
Long deep inhales through the nose and long deep exhales through the mouth.
Breathing deep down into your body.
Softening all the tension in your navel,
In your brow,
Your jaw,
Your shoulders.
And just allowing yourself to arrive here in this moment.
Invoking the element of ether,
Space.
And bringing your awareness to your throat.
Imagine a blue light filling up this entire space.
And it's washing through every cell,
Cleansing,
Purifying.
Feel all of your energy and your attention going here.
And perhaps you can roll your neck,
Bringing some gentle movement and open up in this space physically.
Opening your head from one shoulder down to the other and gently dropping back to open up this space.
Keep using your breath.
Imagine cleansing energy with every inhale and exhale.
Your throat is also very connected to your solar plexus as this is where we honour our voice,
We express our truth.
And as we do so we really step into our power and embody our uniqueness.
We express the truth of who we really are using our voice.
So I invite you to bring awareness to how you use your voice throughout your day.
Do you speak lovingly and kindly and honestly?
Or are your words tainted and dishonest and full of gossip?
Understanding that every word that we speak holds a frequency that is creating our reality.
So what words are you speaking out?
Are you expressing how you really feel and what you really want?
This is also the space directly between the heart and the mind.
So if you feel tension here and stuck energy perhaps there's a misalignment between what the heart feels and what the mind is saying.
So in order for energy to flow freely we want to bring the mind and the heart into alignment so that we're moving as one in harmony.
Coming back to your breath and how it feels as it moves through your throat.
Making any audible sounds if that feels good,
Too clear,
Too awaken.
Releasing tension in the jaw,
In the neck,
In the shoulders.
Allowing yourself to soften and just drop.
Drop any responsibility that you're holding onto,
Any weight.
Breathe into the spaciousness that's available to you.
Honouring your voice,
Honouring your truth,
Honouring your unique expression.
Your voice is here to be heard.
You hold a unique frequency of your own.
Speak it out.
Sing,
Chant.
Allow your voice to come alive.
I am expressive.
I honour my voice.
I am free.
I am expressive.
I honour my voice.

Breathing these words into your whole being.
