
Anxiety Relief

This practice will help you to feel calm and relaxed if you are feeling anxious or stressed. It takes you through the chakra system to help you to clear align and balance all the chakras and give you a sense of peace so you can prepare for a restful sleep or feel a general enhanced sense of wellbeing throughout your day.
Transcript
This is an extended meditation to help you quiet and calm your anxiety.
If you are feeling anxious,
Listen to this recording and by the end of it,
You'll feel grounded,
Peaceful and fully relaxed.
Find a comfortable place to rest.
You want to be fully and completely relaxed so you can let these suggestions flow through you to create the changes you wish to receive.
Now take a deep breath and let's begin.
Focusing on the top of your head and all the muscles in and around the top of your head.
As you breathe into these muscles,
Allow them to release,
Relax and let go.
Focusing on your face now,
Breathe and relax into your face.
Allowing all the muscles in and around your face to deeply relax with each and every breath.
Moving to the back of your head now,
Breathe and relax into all the muscles in and around the back of your head.
Allowing each and every breath to bring you deeper into relaxation.
Feeling this relaxation to move down into your neck and shoulders.
Breathing into your neck and shoulders,
Feeling so good,
So relaxed as you take another deep breath.
Allowing these muscles to release,
Relax and let go.
Feeling this relaxation move down into your arms and hands as you continue to relax and breathe.
Letting go of all stress and tension as you take another deep breath.
As you breathe even more deeply,
Notice the rise and fall of your chest with each and every inhale and exhale.
Notice how much more relaxed you are becoming.
Each and every breath bringing you deeper into relaxation.
Feel this relaxation moving into your back now as you breathe even more deeply,
Even more slowly.
You are safe and you are loved.
You are deeply supported in this and all moments.
Continue to relax and breathe.
Breathing down into your belly,
Relaxing into your belly.
Allow it to open and soften with each and every breath.
Breathe down into your hips and all the muscles in and around your hips,
Feeling so good,
So relaxed.
Moving down into your bottom,
Allowing all of the muscles in and around your bottom to release,
Relax and let go.
Bring your awareness down into your thighs and all of the muscles in and around your thighs,
Releasing,
Relaxing and letting go.
Feel the relaxation moving down into your knees and all of the muscles in and around your knees as you continue down into your shins and calves,
Allowing your shins and calves to release,
Relax and let go.
Moving down into your ankles,
Breathing into your ankles,
Allowing them to release,
Relax and let go.
Taking another deep breath and moving down into your feet and toes.
Allow the relaxation to flow into all the muscles in your feet and toes.
Just let your toes know that it's okay to relax.
Now that your body is fully comfortable,
I want you to focus in on your solar plexus,
Where your solar plexus is located near the bottom of your rib cage,
Where your diaphragm is.
During times of anxiety,
This is one of the places that gets tight and stressed.
When you tune in here,
What do you feel?
Does it feel constricted?
Is it holding on?
The solar plexus helps us to process our power and our strength and our will.
If we're struggling with power issues or feeling like we are out of control,
We might have trouble breathing deeply or catching our breath.
And this is the place where we hold that stress.
So for now,
Breathe gently into this area.
Settle into any places that feel tight or are hurting.
Breathe into any places that are afraid and needing love.
The more you relax and breathe,
The easier it is for your body to release and let go.
As you breathe into these places,
Do you notice a shift happening?
Relax and settle in as you breathe and relax even more deeply.
The more you relax,
The more easily it is for you to let go of all the stress.
It's so nice to just let go of everything that doesn't serve you anymore.
Anything that makes you feel less than relaxed and free just seems to float away with your out-breath.
As you breathe into the last of the hiding places of pain or tightness,
Relax into them.
Bringing your relaxation there as if to say,
You don't have to hold on anymore,
I've got you.
You can rest now.
Notice how easily everything lets go now.
You only have to put your attention there and it unravels and opens up into relaxation.
Breathe and relax deeper until all you feel is a relaxed state of peace.
Now we're going to follow the solar plexus in through the back of the body.
This is called the rear aspect of the solar plexus.
Breathe and relax into it.
Allow it to open.
Finding any tightness,
Breathe in relaxation into it.
Letting it know that it's okay to rest now.
Each breath bringing you deeper into this place.
Each breath allowing you to relax more and more.
Opening.
Opening.
Relaxing in.
The more relaxed you are,
The deeper you can settle in until it feels deeply and completely open and relaxed.
Balancing the front and rear of the solar plexus now,
Moving the energy back and forth.
Both sides feeling relaxed and open.
Flowing easily and effortlessly back and forth.
And stabilizing both sides.
Sometimes anxiety shows up in our heart.
So let's clear the path from the solar plexus to the heart chakra.
Relaxing and breathing the energy up into the heart chakra from the solar plexus.
Now settling into the front aspect of the heart chakra.
In the very center of the chest.
Breathe and relax into this front aspect of the heart.
Settle into any painful or tight places and let them know that you are here now and it's okay to relax.
Letting anywhere that feels heavy or tight begin to soften and let go as you relax and breathe into it.
The more you relax and breathe,
The easier it is for these tight,
Heavy places to just let go.
Breathing and settling in.
Notice how as you relax into your heart the tight places gently loosen and as they do,
Any heaviness or tightness seems to dissolve as you move deeper into this place.
Into this heart chakra.
The deeper you go into your heart,
The more it opens and expands.
Breathing and relaxing into it until it feels open and free.
Now let's follow the heart chakra back through the body into the rear aspect of the heart.
As you move into the rear aspect of this heart chakra,
Feel into it,
Settle in.
Notice where it's tight or holding on.
This is the place where we open to receive love.
Sometimes we shut down this rear aspect of the heart so we don't have to receive any pain or experience pain.
But that also stops us from receiving love.
So be gentle with this place,
Allow it to relax and gently open.
And as you let go,
Let it know that you're here now and that everything's going to be okay.
Say to it,
I've got you.
It's okay to let go now.
You are safe and you are loved.
And I am here with you.
Allow your breath to move you even more deeply into this place.
As you let go of anything that's still holding on from the past,
You raise the vibration here so only the best energy and vibrations can flow to you.
Release,
Relax and let go of everything that's not you.
Move into all the places that you might have forgotten.
Move into all the places with your love and relaxation.
You are safe and you are loved.
Opening,
Opening.
Take another deep breath and go deeper into relaxation.
Balancing the front and the rear of the heart chakra now.
Letting the energy move back and forth,
Making sure everything is flowing easily and effortlessly.
Breathing and relaxing and stabilizing the frequency of the both front and rear of the heart chakra.
Now just to make sure your whole body is in alignment,
We'll start at the top of your head in your crown chakra and work our way down to the root.
Focusing on the top of your head in your crown chakra.
Settling in.
Allowing it to open and expand.
Clear,
Align,
Balance and strengthen this crown chakra.
Sinking into it.
Just allowing it to open and expand.
Good.
Moving down into the third eye chakra.
Clear,
Align and balance the connection between the crown and the third eye.
Moving now into the front aspect of the third eye.
Clear,
Align,
Balance and strengthen this front aspect of the third eye.
Opening and relaxing.
Clearing all that is not you.
Relaxing and breathing open.
Opening.
Moving into the rear aspect of the third eye now.
Breathing and relaxing into it.
Allowing it to open and expand.
Clearing any heaviness,
Any tightness.
Releasing,
Relaxing and opening.
Good.
Balancing the front and rear of the third eye chakra now.
Breathing the energy back and forth.
Just allowing it to relax,
Open and clear.
And stabilizing the front and rear of the third eye chakra.
Moving down now into the connection between the third eye and the throat chakra.
We ask that it be clear,
Aligned,
Strengthened and balanced.
This connection between the third eye and the throat.
Now moving into the front aspect of the throat chakra.
Breathing and relaxing into it.
Clear,
Align,
Balance and strengthen this front aspect of the throat chakra.
Breathing and opening.
Good,
Settling in.
Now moving into the rear aspect of the throat.
Breathing and relaxing into it.
Allowing it to open and clear.
If there are any tight or stuck places,
Just relax and breathe into them.
Letting them know that you are safe and you are loved.
Breathing,
Relaxing and opening this rear aspect of the throat chakra.
Now balancing the front and rear aspect of the throat.
Running energy back and forth between both aspects of the throat chakra.
Front and rear.
Feeling the energy flow back and forth.
Opening and clearing.
Relaxing in.
And stabilizing the front and rear of the throat chakra.
Now move into the connection between the throat and the heart.
Clear,
Align,
Balance and strengthen this connection between the throat and the heart chakra.
Moving into the front aspect of the heart chakra now.
Relaxing into it.
Clear,
Align,
Strengthen and balance this front aspect of the heart chakra.
It should be pretty clear since we cleared it before but if there are still places that need love,
Please relax and breathe into them.
You are safe and you are loved.
Relax,
Release and let go.
Breathing and opening.
When this front aspect of the heart feels clear and open,
Then it's time to move into the rear aspect of the heart chakra.
Breathe and relax into it.
Clear,
Align,
Strengthen and balance this rear aspect of the heart chakra.
Breathing and relaxing it open.
Now balancing the front and rear aspects of the heart chakra.
Moving energy between them.
Feeling the flow of energy back and forth.
Breathing and relaxing.
Just allowing the flow of energy.
And then stabilizing the front and rear aspect of the heart chakra.
Moving down into the connection between the heart chakra and the solar plexus.
Breathing and relaxing into it.
We ask that it be cleared,
Aligned,
Strengthened and balanced.
This connection between the heart and the solar plexus.
Now moving into the front aspect of the solar plexus chakra.
Breathing and relaxing into it.
Allowing it to open and clear.
It should be feeling pretty good since we cleared it before,
But if there's any lingering things here that need your love,
Please give them your love and attention now.
Breathing and relaxing.
Letting go.
Opening.
Good.
Now move into the rear aspect of the solar plexus chakra.
Breathing and relaxing.
Moving deeper.
Breathing all the way into the rear aspect of the solar plexus.
Opening.
Opening.
Just moving in and relaxing.
Good.
Now let's move the energy back and forth between the front and the rear aspect of the solar plexus.
Just feeling the energy move back and forth.
And then stabilizing the frequency between the front and the rear axis.
Moving now into the connection between the solar plexus and the sacral chakra.
Breathing and relaxing.
Clear aligned balance and strength in this connection between the solar plexus and the sacral chakra.
Moving into the front aspect of the sacral chakra now.
Breathe and relax into it.
Allowing it to open and expand.
If anywhere feels tight or stuck just breathe into it.
Allow this place to soften and release.
As you breathe and relax just allow all the energy to soften and unravel.
Each and every breath bringing you deeper into relaxation.
Each and every breath bringing you deeper into your body.
The deeper you move into this front aspect of the sacral chakra the more relaxed you get and the easier it is for everything that's not you to be released and let go.
Breathing and relaxing.
Breathing in relaxation.
Breathing out everything that's not you.
Moving in deeper.
Breathing relaxation to everywhere that needs your love and presence.
Breathing out all energy that's not yours.
Breathing relaxing and opening.
Now moving into the rear aspect of your sacral chakra.
Breathing and relaxing in.
Breathing gently into the places that might feel stuck or tight.
This is the place where we open up to receive money and where we receive creative ideas as well as open up to sexual and sensual feelings.
When this place is open we feel more alive and receptive to life in general.
So just for now relax and breathe into this place.
Allow yourself to feel what your life force feels like.
Relax open and breathe.
Balancing the front and rear of your sacral chakra now.
Letting the energy move back and forth between them.
Opening and relaxing as the energy moves back and forth.
Relieving the energy between the front and rear aspects of the sacral chakra.
Moving down into the connection between the sacral and the root chakra.
Breathing and breathing into it.
Allowing it to clear,
Align,
Balance and strengthen as you move down into the root chakra.
Breathing and relaxing into the root.
The more you relax in the easier it is for you to open and clear.
If you feel any tightness or any place that is stuck then just relax and breathe into it.
The more you relax and breathe the easier it is for you to open and expand.
Settle all the way into your root now.
Really own this place.
Allow yourself to feel what it's like to be in this root chakra.
Feel the energy flowing as you move in deeper and deeper.
Move into the base of your spine and feel two lines of energy come from this base down the side of your legs and into the earth.
These are stabilizing roots that help you feel extra safe and secure.
Feel now as the chakras on the bottom of your feet are opening and activating as you breathe and open.
Balance the root and the crown chakra now.
Feeling the energy flowing between them.
Feeling the energy move down and through your body from the crown into the root as you breathe in.
And feeling the energy move through the body and up as you breathe out.
And feeling the energy move through the body and up as you breathe out.
Stabilizing the frequency and energy between the root and crown.
Tune into the energy that's all around you.
Allow it to be cleared,
Aligned,
Strengthened and balanced as you breathe and relax.
Clearing all lower frequencies and raising your vibration.
Breathing,
Relaxing and allowing all that is not you to be released.
Expanding and clearing the energy field.
Setting this higher frequency and vibration.
Setting the intention that only the highest vibrations of love and light are attracted into this field of energy.
All lower frequencies will be reflected back to their source with infinite love and infinite light.
Allow yourself to settle back down into the core of your body.
You are safe and you are loved.
You are clear,
Aligned and balanced.
Your physical body and energy bodies are all in alignment.
You are whole,
Complete and protected.
We are now complete.
