Welcome,
My name is Jung Jin and I'll be guiding you in this menstruation ritual
to honor your sacred time of release.
We'll begin with a womb meditation and then move on to
journaling.
Repeating this ritual has helped me to nurture a more loving and accepting relationship
with my menstruation and my womb.
I hope that it also serves you
to connect with the cycles of life,
Creativity,
And expression within your womb.
I invite you to gently place your hands on your lower belly
and you're welcome to close your eyes now.
Breathe comfortably through the nose.
Feel the warmth of your hands.
Notice what it's like to hold your womb space.
If you feel called to,
You're welcome to stroke and caress your lower belly.
Perhaps you want to massage this area or maybe you prefer stillness.
Do what feels right for you as you begin connecting to your womb.
Now inviting stillness in the hands,
With each breath,
Soften the pelvic floor.
With each breath,
Soften the pelvic floor.
Release any tension in the hips
and the buttocks.
Use the breath to help you relax the entire area surrounding the womb.
Continue to soften,
Welcoming this time of release.
Allow the blood and energy that no longer serves you to leave your body with ease.
Now I invite you to keep one hand on the womb space and the other on the belly.
Over your heart space.
With each breath,
Feel the rise and fall of your chest and belly.
On your next inhale,
Breathe into the heart and on the exhale,
Send the breath down into the womb space.
Inhale into the heart.
Exhale into the womb.
With each breath,
Send your heart energy into the womb.
Send love.
Send gratitude.
Send unconditional acceptance.
Now allow the breath to be a breath of calm and relaxation.
Releasing your focus now,
Return to your natural breath.
To close this meditation,
I invite you to place both hands over your heart
and take this moment to give thanks to your womb.
When you're ready,
Slowly blink the eyes open.
I invite you to grab your journal and pen now.
I also encourage you to set the mood with some music,
Candles or incense.
Press pause to give yourself time to get ready.
When you're ready,
Let's begin with our first journaling prompt.
As you physically release the energy of the past month,
Take this opportunity to clearly identify what you are releasing.
This could be a belief,
A habit,
A pattern.
It could also be people,
Places or expectations.
Ask yourself,
What do I intend to release?
Press pause here to give yourself time to journal.
When you're ready,
Let's move on to the second journaling prompt.
Every menstruation marks the end of one cycle and the beginning of another.
During this time of release,
You are creating space for new energy.
So ask yourself,
What new energy am I calling into my life?
Press pause here to give yourself time to write.
Now let's move on to our final journaling prompt.
The womb is the energy center for creativity,
Life,
Sensuality and expression.
Tuning into this energy,
Ask yourself,
What am I being called to create and express?
Am I being called to create and express in my life?
Pause here to give yourself time to write.
Thank you for joining me.
I hope that you'll continue to return to this ritual
to deepen your connection to your menstruation and your womb.
