In this meditation, we will focus on activating and enhancing the quality of courage from within us. We will find that being courageous does not mean a lack of fear, but rather an abundance of willingness to face and embrace our fears. Thus, we find ourselves even more powerful in our vulnerability.

Welcome,

Welcome,

Welcome.

In these times of chaos and fear that abounds around us,

It takes courage to be who we wish to be.

It takes courage to act.

It takes courage to love.

And every day,

It seems we wake up with a new set of challenges to face.

So let us explore the origin of courage and strengthen and bolster that beautiful divine quality of courage within us.

So we can start by closing the eyes if we wish and becoming aware of the breath.

And noticing the quality of the breath and how it moves in and out of the heart.

And as we breathe,

Let us notice the quality of our heart.

Is it tender?

Is it raw?

Do we feel confused?

Do we feel confused?

Are we fearful of what will come in the future?

All of it is totally fine.

What let us look for the sake of looking and see how we are in our heart.

It's true the world around us is highly uncertain,

Perhaps more uncertain than at any time in our lives.

And so let us look at the impact that this is having on our self and our heart.

It takes courage to face ourselves and let us do that now.

And regardless of our experience,

Let us accept ourselves as we are in our vulnerability and our tenderness.

In our fear and our uncertainty and our confusion.

Let it all simply be there and exist.

It's okay.

It's okay.

It's okay.

When we act in the world,

We first must know how we are.

Because our actions will be imbued with our own qualities of beingness.

If we are confused,

Our actions will take on the energy of confusion.

If we are fearful,

Our actions will take on the quality of fear.

So first let us accept all of these qualities that might be challenging with the breath.

Our heart can handle how we are.

And so we accept all of these qualities in the infinitude of our heart as a sun.

The bright light of a sun shining through our heart,

Uplifting and dissolving and transforming any qualities which do not serve us.

And now we face the world around us from a new place of vulnerability and courage.

We see the world as it is,

Which looks like chaos.

And yet when we look inside,

We can feel a sense of certainty.

The knowingness that we are light and love.

That we have the ability to do what we need to do.

We are strong because we are honest with ourselves and with others around us.

We are resilient because we do not resist the challenges and the difficulties that we face.

We are courageous because we are transparent and we have nothing to hide.

We are scared sometimes and this makes us courageous.

We are uncertain at times and this makes us courageous.

And amidst it all,

We do not lose the ability to love.

When we struggle the most,

We reach to those that love us the most.

We are courageous and thus we allow ourselves to be supported.

We receive help,

We receive assistance,

And when it is our time to assist,

We are courageous because we do,

We serve.

And we are courageous because we are served by others and we are in service to others.

We see things exactly as they are.

We are not optimistic.

We are rooted in the knowingness that this will be okay.

Because we are centered in the knowingness of who we are.

In the depth of our being,

In our essence,

We are source.

We are light.

We are love.

We are birthed from love and light and this is who we are and therefore we are able to serve others.

And we are able to be assisted when needed.

And within it all,

We are grateful.

We are grateful for what we have.

We are grateful for the challenges that are opportunities that we will look back on and see how these challenges were instrumental in creating us as courageous,

Resilient,

And beautiful,

Beautiful people.

And for this opportunity,

In our humility and our courage,

We bow.

We are grateful for what we have.

We are grateful for what we have.

We are grateful for what we have.

We are grateful for what we have.
