Continue to feel your breath.
Feel the oxygen as it enters your body and moves through you.
As you inhale,
Visualize that oxygen as it passes through the rims of your nostrils.
And as you exhale,
Watch as it exits back out.
Let's take a deep breath together.
Inhale your breath.
Inhale.
Inflating your ribcage like a balloon,
Feel it expand a little more,
A little more.
And exhale.
Feel as your belly and chest fall.
Continue to breathe in this way.
On the next inhalation,
Feel and see as the oxygen glides through your body,
Warming and relaxing each and every part it touches.
Allow the muscles,
The tissues to totally relax as it glides by,
Welcoming each part to become so relaxed,
So loose that it feels like each body part it touches expands,
Softens,
Opens.
As it fills your head,
Your ears,
Your face,
Your mouth,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Hands,
And fingers.
Your chest,
Your belly,
Your back,
Your hips,
Your cervix,
Your legs,
Your feet,
And toes.
So much softening,
So much opening that you feel your body start to sink and expand into the ground that supports you.
Feeling your body expand so much into the ground that you can hardly tell where your body ends and the ground begins.
Really listen to the layers of sound.
Really concentrate on the vibration and the deepness of the sound.
Continue to breathe in this way.
We'll breathe together again.
Inhale filling your belly and chest with so much oxygen,
So much vibration.
Hold it.
Hold it.
And exhale watching and feeling as the light and sounds vibration glide past your nostrils.
As you continue to breathe in this way,
Watch as you breathe with your baby.
Feel that light and vibration pass through your nostrils as it moves through your body into the uterus,
Passes through the placenta,
Through the umbilical cord,
And right into your baby's belly.
And on your exhalation,
Watch and feel as the waste and toxins that both you and your baby no longer need travel back through the baby's belly,
Through the umbilical cord,
Through the placenta,
The uterus,
Back into your bloodstream,
And out through your nose and mouth.
Continue to breathe and watch this exchange,
This teamwork.
Place your hands on your belly if you haven't already.
As you feel yourself breathe for your baby,
Know that your baby's chest will actually rise and fall at the same time as yours.
So feel your chests rise and fall together.
Turn the edges of your lips upwards like a gentle smile,
Releasing any tightness in the face and the jaw.
Know and acknowledge that you're doing an awesome job giving your baby everything she needs to grow and to feel safe and to be loved.
All you have to do is to listen and breathe.
Now slowly start to return to your body.
Feel the ground beneath you as support.
Start to move your fingers,
Turn your neck to one side,
Now to the other.
Inhale again knowing that the light is always there in abundance to help you to release,
To soften,
Expand,
And to open.
It never goes away and you know exactly how to call it to you.
You have all the resources you need.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
