This guided meditation was created to help people who have been diagnosed with Cancer find some peace in the storm of their current experience. This experience brings surprising emotions such as rage, grief, shame, and devastation and the intention of this track is to both validate that experience and attempt to aid in alleviating it through focus. I too am currently on a journey with Breast Cancer and sharing tools that augment health and balance is presently one of my deepest joys.

Take a deep breath and relax.

I know that it's hard and I want you to know that you are capable of doing hard things.

And so if even taking this deep breath right now and slowing down enough to give yourself a moment of peace is hard,

Then that's okay.

You are stronger than you know.

You are able to face what's coming up with dignity,

With grace,

And with compassion for yourself.

There's a pearl inside of you,

An energy,

A magic that if you allow it to,

Will guide you,

Will hold you,

And will support you through all and every one of your challenges.

Take another deep breath and as you exhale,

See if you can't let go of the desire to control what's happening.

Even if that letting go is just one small,

Tiny piece of wanting to control,

Of wanting to control,

It's okay.

It's okay that you're not in control of what's happening in your life at this moment.

It's okay that it doesn't feel like you have options,

Or that you're stuck between two unpleasant outcomes.

It's okay to not be okay.

What's happening to you is not okay.

But you will be okay.

And on some level,

You can choose to be slightly more okay in this now,

With not being okay.

We don't know why life presents us with challenges,

Whether you're someone who is spiritual,

Or has faith in religion,

Or has philosophies,

Philosophies,

Or does not have any of these.

It is in human nature to look for meaning,

And to seek out answers.

We're curious beings.

And some things arise that don't have clear answers.

In these moments,

We have a tendency to create meaning when there is no concrete truth.

And I would love for you to look inside and see if you can't create meaning that serves you about your situation,

Instead of meaning that does not serve you.

It is not your fault that this experience has come into your life,

No matter what you've done.

No matter your choices or actions in the past.

There is no fault.

Each individual is given their experiences in life,

In life,

Because that is what is meant to be for their growth or their story.

You are facing something tremendously hard.

And you are doing your best in every now.

Even listening to this meditation is you loving yourself enough to try to feel better.

And in loving yourself enough to try to feel better,

You are automatically making yourself a more collaborative player with the universe,

A more helpful element of the lives of the people around you.

And you are taking care of your health,

Both mentally and physically,

By allowing yourself to let go of trying to control your current circumstance.

As you spend time preparing yourself physically and mentally for the next steps in your plan to be more well.

Allow yourself to feel all of your feelings.

They are hard,

But you are capable of doing hard things.

You are not going to fall apart because you are sad.

You are not going to fall apart because you are angry.

You are not going to fall apart because you have confusion or questions.

You are there for yourself to hold yourself.

You are there for yourself to guide yourself through this challenging season of your life.

And you can choose what you would like to create as the meaning.

Do you want to feel like a victim of your circumstance?

Or do you want to allow it to inspire you into being more of your true self?

Do you want to permanently change into someone who sees the life as something against you?

Something that is trying to trick you or hurt you or destroy you?

Or do you want to make the meaning of your circumstance be that you are learning how strong you truly are?

This is an opportunity.

And yes,

Also very challenging.

It is asking you to call upon that strength,

Not only for your well being,

But your survival.

And there are no guarantees.

There are none.

You do not know what comes tomorrow.

But you can decide what you will make of today.

So sweet,

Loving heart,

Know that you are strong.

Know that you are innocent.

Know that you are beautiful and bold and that you have the ability to do hard things.

Allow yourself to be yourself as you continue through this day.

In any moment that dark or negative thoughts appear for you,

To greet them with compassion.

To know that it is okay to not be okay.

And to know that it is okay to let go of trying to control anything in this very complicated situation.

Moving with your heart,

You will find courage,

Pausing and breathing into that glorious body that in this moment is asking for your special care.

You can find peace in the storm.

You can slow down enough to take some distance.

And you can be okay,

Even if you're not.

If your eyes are not already closed,

Go ahead and close them now and visualize yourself in the most peaceful environment you have ever been in.

It could be a beach or a forest or the comfort of your own room.

And imagine a wave of comfort washing over you.

A wave of support washing over you in this peaceful and calm,

Safe space.

Allow this energy of peace and calm and healing to permeate your head,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your chest area,

Your arms,

Your ribs,

Your abdomen,

The area of your pelvis and your buttocks,

Your thighs and knees,

Shins and calves,

Ankles,

Feet and toes,

As well as your upper arms,

Arms,

Elbows,

Forearms,

Wrists,

Hands and palms and fingers.

You are now vibrating with this energy of tranquility,

Peace,

Security,

Health,

Vitality,

And love.

You are capable of doing hard things.

You are strong and brave and glorious.

Breathe in and out at a natural pace that becomes deeper and slower.

And hold yourself in this room of comfort or this environment of comfort and engage all of your senses.

What does it look like?

And what does it sound like?

Is there a smell?

What is the sensation on your skin?

You can come here anytime you like.

And the more you practice this,

The more it will become a tool for you to use whenever you need to,

Perhaps when you find yourself in a situation that you can't control,

Such as waiting for a procedure or the results from an exam.

And if you choose,

You can add to this scene that you are creating to feel more well.

The energies of people that you know,

That love you and that you love,

Your family or friends,

Or people that have passed on,

Or even your guides and energies that are not of this world.

This is your special place in your imagination,

You are capable of adding anything that you choose.

Add and add to your scene so that you are in the ultimate state of comfort and calm and peace.

In this now,

You may also repeat to yourself the themes of this meditation.

It is okay that I am not okay.

I can choose to let go of control.

I am capable of doing hard things.

You may stay in this state for as long as you choose.

You are safe to allow yourself to feel better.

And every time you are in this state and in this environment that you are creating with your perfect imagination,

You will feel better and better.

And as you feel better and better,

You will be able to make better and better choices for yourself and your care and your well-being.

The more and more you practice going inwards,

The more clarity you will have,

The more security you will have,

The more faith you will have,

The more wellness you will have,

And you will feel better and better.

Take a deep breath in now and exhale slowly.

When you are ready,

Prepare yourself to return to your daily business,

To the experiences,

Challenges and opportunities that you have to face today.

And gently open your eyes,

Facing a diagnosis and the treatments and procedures that are required to regain wellness or to maintain a positive quality of life are difficult experiences.

And they call upon resources that many of us have not been trained in.

Many of us have not many of us have not had the experience of practicing,

But resources nonetheless that are available,

If we choose to begin to learn how to use them and learn how to practice with them.

Meditation and visualization and suggestion or auto hypnosis are these practices,

And they can help you in your journey to find balance,

To find understanding and meaning and to find wellness.

What I wish for you and for myself is that we are able to create this meaning and understanding and wellness in a holistic fashion,

In a healthy fashion,

And that in the creation of this,

We do have lives that are consistently better and better regardless of the circumstance.

I thank you for listening to this meditation and for going out into the world and back to your experience in a calmer and more loving fashion because you chose to take care of yourself today.
