Hello my friend.
In this meditation,
This inner child meditation,
We are going to
reacquaint you with your inner child.
This may bring up some emotions that you
have not felt before.
Some sadness,
Some anger,
But also this deep connection of
love to the innocence of your inner self.
In this meditation,
We'll open you up to deeply connect with your inner child at
any time.
To begin to loosen any of the suppression that you may have pushed
down from the emotions or experiences in your childhood.
And just allow you,
Without judgment,
With much compassion,
In a safe space,
To feel,
To reconnect,
And
to open yourself up for more of yourself.
So when you're ready,
Closing down your eyes,
Letting go of the breath that you
have right now,
And taking a deep inhale.
Breathing in,
And letting go.
Breathing
in,
And letting go.
Using the next moments to breathe deeply into yourself,
To allow
yourself to come deeper to this present moment of where you are right now,
With
yourself.
And letting go of any thoughts that may be present here.
Feeling your
whole body relax as you let go of the thoughts,
As you find yourself just here,
Right here,
Right now.
This moment.
Good.
And now,
As you've connected with yourself,
With this moment,
It's time to journey in to your inner child.
Welcoming them in
with open arms.
Dropping deeper into your body,
Intuitively being guided right now.
And finding where your inner child resides at this very moment.
Dropping in
to that space,
Giving all of your attention to this place in your body,
Out
of your mind and into your body,
Meeting your inner child where they're at.
Now
noticing the surroundings,
The environment that your inner child is
within your body.
Maybe a scene begins to play out.
Maybe you notice certain
colors or feelings when you see your inner child in your body.
Good.
And now I
welcome you to approach them,
If you haven't already,
And just match their
body language.
Noticing if they're closed off,
Hunched over,
Head in their
knees,
Or if they're playing,
Open to receiving you.
Just noticing as you
approach them and allowing yourself to match and mirror them,
Whether that's
playing or getting down to their level,
And feeling what they are feeling right
now.
And just noticing if there's any familiar feelings that you are feeling
as you match and mirror your inner child.
Noticing that you begin to feel
deeply what your inner child is feeling right now.
Good.
And creating a deeper
connection now,
Inviting you to open up your arms.
And if your inner child feels
welcome too,
For them to join you in your arms.
Good.
And just feeling that deep
connection.
Maybe you hold them like a child with them in your arms.
Maybe you
give them a hug,
Heart to heart.
Just noticing the body language of the two of
you now,
And the connection that you have together.
And inviting in a breath with
your inner child,
Deeply inhaling and exhaling.
And now you will ask your inner
child some questions.
You to you,
Older you to younger you,
Younger you to older
you.
To gain deeper awareness of any stuck or suppressed emotions from your
inner child.
And allowing your inner child to feel safe as you receive their
answers fully.
Knowing that they trust you and for what they will share with
you is opening doors to what you get to release for the both of you.
Your inner
child honors you.
They thank you.
And now it's time to ask your inner child these
questions.
You may say your name when I ask these questions to your inner child.
Maybe a nickname comes through.
The first question being,
How are you feeling right
now?
A reminder,
You're asking your inner child this,
Not your current state of
self.
Inner child,
Say your name.
How are you feeling right now?
Good.
Receiving
their answer without judgment.
Saying your name,
Inner child.
What do you need
right now?
Good.
Receiving and going to the next question.
What emotions have you
suppressed?
Knowing your inner child understands this question.
What emotions
have you suppressed?
Receiving without judgment.
Even noticing the emotions that
have been suppressed.
Maybe you even feel them in your body.
The invitation to
embody these emotions.
Feel them in your body.
Let them take reins inside of
yourself.
Knowing that you are not alone,
That you are in this together,
That you
are strong,
Both you now and your inner child.
Good.
And the last question to ask
your inner child.
Saying your name,
Show me what I've been hiding from myself.
Being gentle with what comes through.
Knowing you are safe.
Just sitting with
these answers,
With everything that came through.
And inviting you to meet the
eyes of your inner child and just look deeply into each other.
Good.
And now
bringing them into a deep embrace,
Bigger than the first one you had
together.
Embracing them,
Feeling them,
Allowing yourself to feel all the things
that you felt in this meditation with your inner child,
Through your inner
child,
With acceptance,
In love.
Now before you depart from your inner child
in this meditation,
Allowing yourself,
You now,
To share anything with your inner
child that you need to say based on the answers you were given by your inner
child.
Just allowing yourself to flow.
Trust in whatever comes up.
Good.
How beautiful for you both to connect here.
Allowing yourself to begin to move,
Allowing your inner child to go back to
play.
Noticing that they feel freer because they shared with you.
They feel
lighter.
And as you bring your awareness back,
Back,
Back to your whole body,
Into
the present moment.
Slowly coming back to all of yourself and placing your hand on
your heart and a hand on the belly.
And taking three inhales into these spaces,
Allowing your hands to expand on the inhale.
And let it all go,
Feeling your
hands fall on the exhale.
Breathing deeply.
Breathing in thanks and gratitude.
Exhaling safety and more gratitude.
And when you're ready to slowly begin to
wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Blink open your eyes gently.
Inviting you
before doing anything else to grab your journal and reflect on what came through
during this meditation with your inner child.
Allow the reflections to come through,
Any shadows that came up,
Any emotions
that came up.
And recognizing the energetic state that you currently are
in right now after this meditation.
