Aho!
Today we will be doing a shamanic meditation to connect with Pachamama,
Mother Earth.
Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down.
If you can position yourself on the floor or the ground,
Even better.
Take a deep cleansing breath in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Allow the pent-up energy of your body,
Your mind,
Your emotions begin to flow out of your body and down into the mother.
Release yourself from this burden.
Let her absorb this energy and transmute it back to the light.
We will now be doing some breathing to help thin the veil,
To help open the doorway to our connection.
We'll do two rounds of the 7-7-7 breath,
Where we take a deep cleansing breath,
We inhale for the count of seven,
Hold for the count of seven,
Then exhale for the count of seven.
And we'll begin with a deep cleansing breath.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Hold two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Hold two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Hold two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
And a deep cleansing breath.
Good.
Now,
In your mind's eye,
Allow your imagination to take you to a beautiful high mountain meadow on a warm,
Sunny summer day.
You are standing at the edge of an ancient stand of trees which surrounds this meadow.
You know this place.
It is safe,
Serene,
Peaceful,
Comforting.
Look around you.
Notice the mountains in the distance,
The deep blue of the sky above,
The lightness of the clouds as they move gently across this space.
Observe the trees and greet them.
Then step out into the sunshine.
Begin to walk towards the center of the meadow.
Allow all your senses to soak up this energy,
This sacred place.
It is here just for you.
Pachamama has been waiting.
As you walk through the tall grass,
You feel the warm sun upon your skin.
The grass gently tickles your legs.
The meadow is full of wildflowers and sunshine.
There's a beautiful scent upon the breeze.
It carries the message of the flowers,
Trees,
Rocks,
Mountains,
And streams.
Take a slow,
Deep breath and soak in the energy of this place.
Just ahead of you,
There is a small clearing in the grass that you know is just for you.
Go there now.
Lie down upon the soft grass and gaze up at the sky.
There is a peace and a contentment here that is beyond description.
You are completely relaxed as you lay on this sacred ground.
Now,
Focus your attention inward.
Listen to your own heartbeat for a moment.
Then allow your awareness to drift downward to concentrate on and connect to the mother.
She has a heartbeat as well.
She is a wonderful,
Loving,
Nurturing energy that is everywhere.
Let yourself feel,
Understand,
Accept your connection to the all that is.
The intricate dance that connects and intertwines us with all that is,
The web of life.
Reach out to her with all your senses.
You will feel her in your own way,
The way that is uniquely yours.
You may feel a tingling,
A warmth,
A coolness,
A deep sense of inner peace,
Of safety.
She may speak to you.
There may be a pulsing sensation.
This is her heartbeat.
This energy that is the mother is loving,
Nurturing,
Nourishing.
Take a few minutes now to connect and allow her to replenish your heart,
Mind,
Body,
And spirit.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Let her give of herself to you.
Take a moment now to give your blessings and gratitude to Pacha Mama.
Thank her for holding us so gently upon her belly.
For nurturing and sustaining us as we walk upon this world.
Send her your blessings and support for healing.
Send her your love.
Now slowly begin your journey back to the room,
To the present moment here in this middle world,
The land of humans.
Take a deep cleansing breath and allow yourself a gentle entrance back to your day.
Many blessings to you a ho.
Thank you.
