Make yourself nice and comfortable,

Either by sitting or lying down.

If you are sitting in a crossed-legged position,

Just make sure you are comfortable.

Place a soft blanket under your feet,

And sit on top of a soft cushion if you wish.

This will be more beneficial,

Especially if your body mechanics doesn't allow you to be able to sit cross-legged on the floor.

Place your hands on your lap or to your side,

With the palms facing upwards,

To allow for a deeper breath.

You don't necessarily have to have your legs crossed if you are sitting with your back up straight,

Unless it is comfortable for you.

The most important thing is to be comfortable,

And to be sure you have a reasonable chance of being undisturbed for the next 15 minutes.

Close your eyes now,

And start by focusing your attention for a moment on your breath.

You don't have to be doing anything,

Anything in particular with the breath,

Apart from being aware of it,

Watching the way it moves in and out of you.

This natural life force is breathing through you.

And whilst you are doing that,

Become aware of sounds around you or inside you,

Sensations in and around your body,

Thoughts coming and going through your mind,

The spaciousness within your mind,

That space beyond thoughts,

That which allows you to be a witness of thoughts,

Sensations,

Feelings,

Without judgment,

Nor any other effort.

This is the natural state of being human.

We feel,

We sense,

We think,

And right in this moment,

You don't have to do anything at all to stop or try to achieve or experience anything in particular,

For this is the natural state of being human.

To meditate is to be one with yourself.

The way you are,

Feel,

Sense,

Think,

Without any judgment.

And when a thought judgment passes by,

Witness it,

Without judgment,

Allow yourself to become the spaciousness within,

Boundless,

Limitless,

Witness.

And as I remain silent from this moment on,

Allow yourself to rejoice in remembering your true nature beyond the boundaries of your human nature,

Beyond your body,

Beyond your mind.

You are.

You are unique.

You are exactly who you should be in this moment.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

You are.

In your own time,

Gently open your eyes,

Only in your own time.

You are.

You are.

Good insight about the space beyond the brain. Allows for more freedom to detach. Very good.
