Crystal Skull Connection

You will need a crystal skull for this meditation and it can be made of any kind of crystal or stone and any skull shape.

Welcome to your Crystal Skull Connection Meditation. My name is Jenny Siebel and I am the author of Spirit Crystals Discover Your Crystal Guide for Healing and Empowerment and in the last chapter of that book we focus on crystal skulls which is a passion of mine. For this meditation you absolutely need a crystal skull so if you don't have one yet you can still listen you're going to need to come back with your skull. So once you have your skull and also if you have more than one skull where you can only connect with one at a time so choose whichever one you want to connect with have it near you so if it's a large skull it's kind of heavy for you to have in your hands maybe you want to be sitting upright and have it facing you if it's a smaller skull you can just keep it in your hands the whole time. You can be sitting standing or laying down for this meditation but at one point you do want to be face to face with the skull so you want to have it of an ability to do that so I'm gonna ask you to get yourself situated so you might need to pause you want to get one skull you want to get yourself in a place where you'll be able to face that skull and then we'll begin when you're ready. Okay so first thing we're gonna do is if you're holding the skull I'm gonna ask you to put it down in a place where you can reach it and we're going to become present in our bodies and in the moment so that you can better connect with the skull so I invite you to close your eyes or at least let your gaze soften and take some deep belly breaths so what that means is taking a breath that kind of fills up the lower belly like a balloon and kind of filling it and then letting it go you can sigh if you want to you can be like ah like a big sigh kind of let the day go but I want you to take a couple of these belly breaths this is just a way for you to start to calm the body and kind of calm the mind and be here present next thing I want you to do is with eyes closed and continuing to take these deep breaths I want you to just get a sense of your feet just sense your feet your toes what do they feel like without judgment if there's pain there just observe the pain if they feel a little uncomfortable you just shift them do that and then once you do the same thing with your legs move up to your legs feel sense your legs adjust them if you need to once you do the same thing with your pelvis and your hips get a sense of that adjust if you need to once you do the same with your belly and your lower back you want to move up to your shoulders and maybe make sure they're not like clenched and up by your ears maybe try to bring them down a little bit get a sense of your arms and your hands and your fingers get a sense of your neck release your jaw let your eyes relax let your head be heavy start to let your body be present be here now the next thing we're going to do is connect with the earth and the universe energy and we do this because we want to be centered in the cosmos and in the earthly energy this is very similar to Reiki as well if you've done Reiki or familiar with Reiki so the first thing you're going to do is visualize the earth below you so if you're sitting on a floor or on a carpet visualize beneath the the flooring beneath the foundation get a sense of the earth there and if you're not visual just get a sense and then I want you to feel or sense roots coming down from either the soles of your feet or your end of your spine and they're going down into the floor and down deep into the earth going all the way to the heart of the mother earth right which I often see as a large green crystal and we are talking crystal skulls and these roots wrap around this large green crystal and you really rooted deeply into the mother earth and there's an energy exchange right you're start to let go of things that don't serve you mother earth starts to send energy back to you and this is this energy exchange now I want you to if you want to you can clap your hands over your head just to get a sense of above the crown chakra right above the crown is where the crown chakra is so get a sense of where that chakra is if you want to and I want you to envision that at the top of your head is this many low many petaled Lotus and it's opening wide and it's allowing you to connect with the cosmos so you might see this as a light coming down from the universe you might see it as stars sparkling down but there's this energy coming from the universe down through your ceiling down into your crown into your body and now there's an energy exchange here so you have this cosmic energy coming into your body you have this earthly energy coming into your body and they're just it's cycling through you so you're deeply rooted you're deeply grounded connected but you're also connecting with the universe the universal intelligence right the cosmic creator the divine whatever you want to call that energy and this is all circling through your body you're safe it's not overwhelming it's energizing and now I want you to pick up your crystal skull and keep your eyes closed if you can and I want you to start to rub the brow of the crystal skull so it's third eye so you're rubbing the brow and then kind of rub the eyes rub the nose and the mouth really feel the features of the skull really feel it and continue now go back to the brow rub the brow and what we're going to do in a moment is you're going to open your eyes and you're going to gaze into the eyes of the crystal skull but not yet first I want you to prepare yourself to receive information so you might receive an image a name of the skull a lot of them have their own names they'll be willing to give them to you you might receive emotion or color but I just want you to prepare yourself first to be open and you may even want to say I'm open to receiving what's here I'm open to receiving what you want to show me I'm open to receiving your name I'm open to connecting with you and then we're going to gently open the eyes I want you to stare into the eye sockets of the skull and I want you to say and I am open to connecting with you say it aloud I am open to connecting with you I am open to knowing you I am open to connecting with you and then I just want you to take some time to really stare into the eyes take some deep breaths and allow the information the imagery the feelings to come to you I'll be quiet and if nothing is coming to you you can always try this again sometimes skulls are shy sometimes they've been through some trauma before they got to you so allow what is to happen let your gaze relax while you're staring into the eyes allow yourself to blink take some deep breaths now if you can bring the crystal skull to your heart chakra your heart center which is the middle of your chest and tell it thank you whether or not you felt a connection or not say thank you for connecting with me and then I invite you to close your eyes and imagine those roots pulling back up into your body thanking the Mother Earth for letting you be connected with her the roots are coming back into your body they're dissolving and then feel at the crown of your head that that connection to the universe is dissolving it's still there very faintly right but we don't want to stay wide open as we go about the rest of our day so you want to let that kind of close down close that many petal lotus that crown chakra close it down a little bit let yourself come here now take some breaths maybe listen to the sounds feel your body get a sense of the here and now take a sigh and then I invite you to open your eyes when you're ready but I also invite you to journal about your experience even if you didn't get anything allow yourself to journal and then if you didn't get any information you might want to invite your skull next to your bed facing you as you sleep and invite it in to tell you things in its dreams some of us are in your dreams some of us are much more receptive in our dream state and so you can invite your skull to come into your and share something with you or connect with you in that way I hope you enjoyed this I
