Transcript

Join me and let's float in a sea of chi,

A sea of energy.

Find your seat,

Sit comfortably with a tall spine,

Or you can be lying down.

And softly just begin to close your eyes,

Taking a deep breath in and letting it go.

Now begin to imagine the breath as you breathe in.

The earth energy rises up from the bottoms of the feet all the way up the back of the body,

Rising up the spine,

Reaching up and above the crown,

Exhaling as that breath floats down the front of the body,

Recirculating,

Reaching the earth energy again.

And as you breathe up,

You pull that earth energy up from the feet,

Rising all the way up the spine,

Reaching above the crown of the head,

Expanding into the heavens.

And as you exhale,

You pull that heavenly energy down the front of the body,

Recirculating again down to the earth,

Breathing back up,

Reaching up and above the crown.

And as you exhale,

That breath floats down,

Meeting the energy at the heart,

Anchoring in at the heart,

Pulling heavenly and earthly energies and meeting together at the center of the heart.

Continue to imagine this breath circulating your entire being,

Feeling this chi,

This energy circulating around your body,

Flowing naturally,

Every cell flowing together in harmony.

Now we'll start to work with acupressure point called the C of Chi.

This point is located two fingers below the belly button.

So we'll take our fingertips and place them two inches below the belly button.

And once you find that point,

You'll start to feel it.

And press gently into that space,

Into your abdomen,

About one to two inches deep.

And you'll start to deepen your breath,

Breathing deeply into the fingertips.

Each breath grows longer and deeper.

And on your breath out,

Just release any tensions you might feel.

Restriction in your belly.

Continue to keep your eyes closed.

Concentrate on breathing slow,

Even,

Deep breaths into the belly.

Any resistance that comes up,

Just keep breathing into it.

Dissolving any barriers.

Just remembering that you are breathing in life itself.

Now let's take one final breath in.

Take a deep breath in.

Expanding the belly,

Pressing into that point.

And hold that breath at the top for just a few moments,

Feeling the fullness.

And then let's exhale smoothly and completely.

And you can allow your hand to gently drift off of that point.

Now just open up the palms.

Notice the feeling of vitality of the breath circulating your entire being.

Breathing deeply into that belly point now.

Notice how your body is floating in a sea of chi.

Every cell being rejuvenated.

Now let's start to come back slowly to our bodies.

Bringing the hands into heart center.

Bowing to yourself.

Grateful for your mind,

Your body,

Your spirit.

Grateful for finding this practice that keeps you alive and full of vitality.

Finding this practice to heal yourself,

Recognize the self,

And regenerate yourself.

I bow to you.

And now you can slowly peek open your eyes and welcome yourself back.
