Welcome to this yoga nidra practice.
My name is Jennifer Wilds.
Make sure your body is as comfortable as possible using any props you need.
And once you are set and settled,
Allow your body to stretch out on the earth wherever you're laying down.
Take a few breaths in your own time,
Starting to bring your awareness into the present moment,
Into your body.
Allow your jaw to become soft.
Allow your face to soften.
Allow your hips and belly and buttocks to soften.
And soften your arms and legs.
Allow yourself to surrender into the earth.
And take a deep breath in all the way,
Filling your whole body with breath.
And exhale everything out of the mouth.
Do that as many times as feels good,
Allowing yourself to surrender even more deeply into the earth,
Into your practice,
Into this moment.
And now bring your awareness to your senses.
Starting with your sight,
Open your eyes for a moment.
Notice what you see,
Maybe focusing on something beautiful in the room you're in.
And then close your eyes and let your sense of sight fall asleep.
And then come to your sense of smell,
Noticing any smells in the room.
And then allowing your sense of smell to fall asleep and rest.
And coming to your sense of taste,
Noticing any taste in your mouth.
And then allow your sense of taste to rest.
And coming to your sense of hearing,
Noticing any sounds in the room.
Noticing any sounds from within your body.
And then allowing your sense of hearing to take a break and rest.
And then notice any sensations on your skin.
Maybe even rubbing the tips of your fingers together.
Just feeling that sensation.
And then allowing your sense of touch to take a rest.
And then in your own time,
Take in a long,
Slow,
Deep breath.
And then a big exhale through the mouth,
Allowing your body to sink down even deeper.
And now see and feel an emerald green light at your heart center.
See and feel a warm,
Emerald green healing light at your heart center.
And as you breathe deeply,
Allow this emerald healing light to expand out from your heart center.
Allow it to surround your whole body.
And as you exhale,
Feel that healing light sink back to the center of your heart,
Melting any tension from all levels of your being.
And now follow that light,
See and feel it expanding and softening with each breath.
And then from this place of peace and relaxation,
We move on to your Sen Kalpa,
Your healing intention for the practice.
Remember your Sen Kalpa should be short,
Clear,
And precise,
And the sentence should start with I.
And keeping it in the present moment as if it's happening right now.
For example,
I am brave.
I trust my intuition.
I am worthy.
And don't worry too much about your Sen Kalpa.
It will come to you.
So stay with your breath and begin to listen deeply to that quiet place within.
Ask yourself,
What healing do I need at this time?
And then allow your Sen Kalpa to rise up from deep within you.
Allow your Sen Kalpa to arrive.
Allow yourself to feel your Sen Kalpa with every level of your being.
Feel the truth of your Sen Kalpa.
It's happening now.
The healing has already begun.
And when you have it,
Repeat your Sen Kalpa to yourself silently three times,
Remembering to speak it with energy and with confidence.
So you fully activate that healing.
And now we're going to move on to the rotation of consciousness.
So I will say the different parts of the body,
Allow yourself to visualize the parts,
Bring your full attention to that part,
And also feel like your Sen Kalpa is being planted within each part.
Being with the right hand thumb,
Right index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Pinky finger.
And now feel the tips of the fingers and the tip of the thumb.
And flow down the fingers into the palm of the hand,
The back of the hand,
The right wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Shoulder,
The underarm,
Right side rib cage,
Right side waistline,
The hip,
Thigh,
Knee,
Shin,
The ankle,
Top of the right foot,
Right big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
Fifth toe,
And the sole of the foot.
And now feel the entire right side of the body,
Entire right side.
And then float your attention over to the left hand thumb,
Feeling the left hand thumb deeply planting your Sen Kalpa,
Left index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Pinky finger.
Feel the tips of the fingers and the tip of the thumb flowing down the fingers into the palm of the hand,
Feeling the back of the hand,
The wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Shoulder,
The underarm,
Left side rib cage,
Left side waistline,
The hip,
Thigh,
Knee,
Shin,
Ankle,
Top of the left foot,
The big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
Fifth toe,
And the sole of the foot.
And now feel the entire left side of the body,
Entire left side of the body.
To bring balance to both sides of the body,
Bring your attention to the sole of the right foot,
And the sole of the left foot.
And now feel both soles together.
Feel the right calf,
The left calf,
And both calves together.
Feel the back of the right knee,
Back of the left knee,
And the backs of both knees together.
Feel the back of the right thigh,
Back of the left thigh,
The backs of both thighs together.
Right side buttock,
Left side buttock,
And feel the entire buttocks.
And now to the lower back,
Middle back,
Upper back,
And both shoulder blades together.
And now feel your entire spine.
Feel the back of the neck,
The back of the head,
Feel the forehead,
Both eyebrows,
The space between the eyebrows,
Both eyes,
Both nostrils,
The entire nose,
Both lips,
All the gums and teeth,
Feel the entire jaw,
The entire tongue,
The roof of the mouth,
The floor of the mouth.
Feel the entire interior of the mouth.
And now feel both cheeks,
The chin,
The front of the neck,
Both sides of the chest,
Both lungs.
And now feel the heart center.
And now feel your entire body.
Complete awareness of your entire body,
Every single cell buzzing with life.
And taking in a gentle deep breath.
And as you exhale,
Feel your entire body melting away.
Allow your body to fall asleep.
All that remains is awareness,
Loving awareness.
Now come to your breath.
No need to change your breath.
Allow yourself to breathe naturally,
Automatically,
With no effort.
Feel your breath flowing through your entire body.
Feel your body being filled with breath.
And feel your body emptying from breath.
And bring your focus to your belly,
Just noticing the sensation of breath in your belly.
Really effortlessly rising and falling with each breath.
And letting go of that breath focus.
And now allow yourself to feel and experience the following emotions.
Remembering that you are always in full control of your journey.
Staying with your breath,
Remember a time when you reacted to a situation before taking the time to think about it.
And then remember how that felt for you.
And notice if you felt that reactiveness somewhere in your body.
Now remember a time when you were able to take a step back from a situation,
Slow down and think before responding.
How did that situation feel for you?
And do you notice any sensations in your body?
And now remember a time when you were hard on yourself.
And how did that feel for you?
And did you notice any sensations in your body?
And now remember a time when you were able to offer yourself love and compassion.
And how did that situation feel for you?
Do you feel that love and compassion somewhere within your body?
And now on your next exhale,
Allow yourself to let all of that go.
Allow it to flow away on your breath.
Staying focused with your breath,
Allow yourself to visualize and feel the following images as I say them.
You can imagine they're being projected on the inside of your forehead.
A warm sunny day at the beach.
Flamingos in a shallow pond.
A campfire.
Dancing barefoot in the forest.
An eagle flying overhead.
A rainbow in the sky.
A family farm with animals happily grazing.
Two men crying together.
An ancient temple in a forest.
A dark night sky filled with stars.
The dark night sky filled with stars.
Letting all of that go on your next exhale.
Continuing to follow your natural breath.
Now go into the space between your eyebrows.
The space between your ears inside the center of your head.
Go to your pituitary gland,
Your pineal gland,
And feel the core of your third eye.
See and feel a warm white light coming from the core of your third eye out through the center of your forehead.
Radiating and awakening your third eye.
Now see and feel this warm white light flow down from your third eye to the center of your heart.
And see it radiating out through the front of your heart.
Bringing healing and openness to your heart.
Now see that light flow down to your navel center.
Bringing whatever healing is needed to your navel and your lower body.
And then let that light go.
Feeling peaceful and deeply relaxed.
You realize that you are going on a journey into yourself.
Breathing deeply you are transported to a river bed with boulders and stones of all shapes and sizes.
You gracefully traverse the rocky terrain.
And there is a flowing river in front of you.
You breathe deeply bringing in that fresh clean air.
Allowing it to cleanse your inner landscape.
You sense an invitation from the earth to enter her embrace.
You decide to lay down within some stones that are shaped perfectly for you to lay in the fetal position.
You feel completely comfortable and supported.
You can just let go.
And you feel as if you are embraced in the womb of the great mother.
You allow yourself to rest.
To receive comfort and healing from the mother.
So you know what that healing is or not.
After some time you awake feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
You go to the rivers edge and maybe you dip in or splash some water on your body.
You breathe deeply.
And when you exhale you are transported back to this time and this place.
You feel grounded refreshed and rejuvenated.
Your entire being has arrived back in this time and back in this place.
And you feel grounded refreshed and rejuvenated.
And in your own time you can start to deepen your breath.
Start to arrive back to the present moment.
And repeat your sankalpa to yourself again silently three times remembering to repeat it with emotion with confidence.
And with the knowledge that your sankalpa has always been your truth.
You just needed to remind yourself.
And as you feel ready you can start to feel your body making some gentle movements.
Whatever helps you to wake up.
Maybe stretching big or maybe just running the pads of your thumb over your fingers and wiggling your toes.
You may wish to stay laying down or in your own time coming up to a comfortable seat.
Wherever you are allow yourself to breathe deeply and breathe in the earth's energy allowing you to feel loved grounded and safe.
Allowing you to feel loved grounded and safe.
You may wish to place a hand on your heart and on your belly and just feel your body in this moment.
Feel your body in this moment and offer yourself gratitude for taking the time to be present with yourself.
Taking the time to listen to yourself and to love yourself in presence.
And wishing you a beautiful day whatever the rest of your day looks like.
Thank you so much for your practice for taking the time to take care of you.
Much blessings and love.

Really loved this nidra, could feel lots of calming energy. I also really liked you're slightly different way of holding/feeling opposites.
