Afternoon mantra meditation for restoring balance.

In life,

There must be a balance of giving and receiving,

Action and rest,

Doing and just being.

We spend so much of our day giving our time and energy to those around us.

However,

In order to give fully to others,

We must first take care of ourselves.

At the end of the day,

It's important to set aside time for yourself to slow down,

Unwind and release all the stress that causes tension and confusion.

It is from a relaxed state of mind that you allow clarity and restore your inner harmony.

In this afternoon meditation,

We will clear out the clutter and create space for renewed energy,

Restoring your balance and refocusing to the present moment.

Let's begin.

Scan your body for any areas of tension.

Starting from the top and slowly moving down,

We will release each area one at a time.

Start by relaxing your forehead,

Face muscles,

Unclenching your jaw.

Allow your tongue to lower from the roof of your mouth.

You may gently move your neck side to side,

Up and down.

Roll your shoulders up,

Back and down.

Maybe even take a gentle twist from your waist,

Looking over one shoulder and then the other.

Wiggle onto your sits bones and settle comfortably into your seat.

Point and flex your toes,

Maybe even roll your ankles a few times.

Good.

Now rest your hands gently on your lap.

Here we begin to find stillness.

If you haven't already done so,

Gently close your eyes.

Take a deep cleansing breath in and a long open mouth exhale.

Again,

Deeply breathing in and exhale out through your mouth.

Breathe in new light and new energy.

Release any stale air that no longer serves you.

Inhale for the present moment.

Exhale leaving the past behind you.

Just as we're taking this time to slow and take pause on the momentum of our day,

Begin to notice the pause between our inhales and exhales.

In and out through our nose now.

Inhale for a count of three.

Pause for a moment at the top.

Then exhale slowly for a count of five.

Breathing in for three,

Notice the pause.

Breathe out for five,

Pausing again.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

In for three,

Out for five.

Continue the cycle of breath on your own,

Noticing that brief pause between each inhale and exhale.

Feel your body restoring itself with each breath in and releasing with each breath out.

As you breathe in,

Open your channel to receiving.

As you breathe out,

Allow your body to rest.

Breathe in,

Allowing clarity.

Breathe out,

Feeling ease.

Breathing in,

Inspiration.

Breathing out,

Allowing stillness.

No matter what you experienced in your day,

Allow this opportunity to reset and recalibrate to the present moment.

With each new wave of breath,

Visualize and feel the energy of your day washing away.

Take a deep breath in,

Allowing fresh air to fill your body and fully exhale,

Releasing out all of the stale air.

Breathe in renewed light and energy.

Breathe out what no longer serves you.

Here we will introduce our mantra,

Which we will continue for the remainder of our meditation.

Softly repeat this mantra in your mind.

As I relax and let go,

I allow ease and flow.

As I relax and let go,

I allow ease and flow.

Continue this mantra as a gentle point of focus.

This mantra is a guiding light that is always there for you to lead you back to your center.

No need to force this or repeat it the entire time.

Simply allow it to drift back into your mind as often as you wish.

As I relax and let go,

I allow ease and flow.

As thoughts arise,

Simply notice and observe them moving past you like a cloud or breeze.

Then,

If it feels good,

Gently return to your breath,

Breathing in and out.

And return to your mantra.

As I relax and let go,

I allow ease and flow.

No matter what has happened in your day,

Trust that you are on the path.

Where you are right now is just fine.

You're exactly where you're supposed to be.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

As I relax and let go,

I allow ease and flow.

As I let go,

I allow ease and flow.

Create this quiet moment.

Thankful for this time you've reserved for yourself.

Feel your body,

Mind and spirit release,

Restore and reconnect.

You are a balance of giving and receiving energy.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

As I relax and let go,

I allow ease and flow.

Feel yourself tuning back into your center.

This place of peace,

Calm,

Knowing.

Breathe into this space.

Allow this moment for pause and stillness.

As I relax and let go,

I allow ease and flow.

You are recalibrating to your core vibration.

This is where the purest version of yourself lives.

Where love,

Clarity,

Wisdom and inspiration take flight.

Let go.

As I relax and let go,

I allow ease and flow.

Feel your body,

Mind and spirit release,

Release.

Keeping your eyes closed,

We will take a few more cleansing breaths as we prepare to close out our practice.

Take a deep breath into your belly and exhale letting it all go.

Once more,

Deep inhale and let it out.

Remember that this mantra is one you can always return to.

You don't have to wait until your meditation sitting to check in and give yourself a moment to pause.

You can do this any time of the day and multiple times as needed.

Use this tool whenever you feel yourself needing a few deep breaths and a moment to reconnect and let go.

The more you allow yourself this balancing of energy,

The easier things will begin to flow in your life experiences.

You can open your eyes.

Thank you so much for spending this time with me.

You are doing such an amazing job and I am honored to guide you on this journey.

From my heart to yours,

Namaste.
