We live in a noisy world and it can be hard to find peace amidst all this moving energy. In this meditation, we will be exploring the potential that can be found in space, in pausing and in slowing down, and how it can help us tap into our inner wisdom, relieve stress, and find solutions when we need them.

Allow your body to settle into its position physically.

Allow your mind some time to transition from what was happening before into this present moment.

And today we're going to be exploring the potential of space.

Of pausing,

Of slowing down.

I want you to imagine a grandfather clock.

Those really tall ones that have that long thing hanging down that goes from right to left and just keeps swinging from right to left.

And that essentially is our mind,

Our brain,

Our ego.

And that swinging left to right is kind of how we function throughout our day.

And the swinging to the left is being in the past and the swinging to the right is being in the future.

And we rarely stop in the middle in that present moment.

And the clock at the top that you see.

That is where the present moment happens,

Where that needle stops at the hour,

At the minute and pauses.

That is the present moment.

And so I want you to bring your attention and your awareness where the needle is right now.

Bring your attention to the sounds that you can hear in this present moment.

Bring your attention to the physical sensations that you can feel in this present moment.

Bring your attention to the quality of your energy right now in this moment.

And just take time to acknowledge and embrace all of it.

There's no need to change any of it.

Just let it be.

The more you relax into and soften into what is right now.

The easier you can drop deeply into that calm,

Quiet space inside.

Where your intuition is.

Where your creativity is.

When it feels comfortable,

Just start to deepen your breathing a little bit more.

Taking more conscious,

Intentional inhales.

Allowing your body to expand as you inhale.

And slower and more relaxed exhales.

Allowing your body to soften and ground as you release your breath.

Let yourself find your own flow in your breathing.

In order to access space,

Calm,

Clarity,

Freedom,

We need to slow down our internal rhythm.

And we do that by slowing down our breathing first.

And see if you can make your breath a little smoother by expanding it more,

But with less effort.

See how you can flow and deepen your breath without working so hard.

As you create space in your body with your breath,

You create space in your mind.

Giving yourself access to more wisdom,

More creativity,

More freedom and peace.

Notice how you're feeling and responding to this extra space.

As you sink deeper and deeper into that calm space inside of you.

As you go deeper with your breath and your awareness,

Naturally things will come to the surface.

Ideas,

Insights,

Solutions,

And oftentimes things we need to release.

See if you can relax more into what is trying to come to the surface as you dive deeper with your breath.

Know that as you slow down,

There is more opportunity to connect to what is most important.

As you slow down and create space,

There's more potential for expansion.

The things we are most craving are rarely found in the doing.

Connect to them in the moments of being.

When you find yourself going off into thought,

Or going back into that swinging between the past and the future,

Use your breath to anchor yourself back where the needle is right now in this moment.

If you're noticing that it's taking you time to really disconnect and settle and slow down,

Be gentle with yourself.

It takes time to transition out of that wired state that we're in throughout our day.

It takes time to unravel that high-speed pace that we're in throughout our day.

Just let it happen however it needs to.

See if it's possible to extend your inhale a little bit more,

Letting it take up a little bit more space in your body.

So,

You can see the air is coming out of your body.

You can see the air is coming out of your body.

You can see the air is coming out of your body.

Letting it take up a little bit more space in your body.

And then see if it's possible to slow down your exhale a little bit more,

Lengthening it as it releases from your body.

We're gonna take a few more deep breaths.

I'm really using these last few minutes to fully take in and fully enjoy this pause.

And then we're gonna take a few more deep breaths to fully take in and fully enjoy this pause.

Allow yourself to really receive it,

Receive this space physically,

Mentally,

And emotionally.

What our soul is most often yearning for is the freedom and luxury of space to just be without having to do so much all the time.

And when we all come to this point,

When we allow ourselves to just be,

The things that are not so aligned,

Are so important,

Will naturally just fall away.

And you will be left with what is most important for you right now.

Bring your awareness back.

Just notice the quality of your energy now.

Take a moment to notice it,

To feel it,

To enjoy it.

Let your breathing come back to a more natural flow.

Try to relax your jaw a little bit.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Just start to move areas of your body that need some movement.

Letting your body slowly come back.

And again,

Trying to come back into this moment,

Where the needle is right now.

Not in what happened before or what needs to happen next.

Try to just still stay here as you bring your awareness back.

And on your own time,

When you feel ready,

And I encourage you to take a little chunk of time after this meditation before you flow back into your day.

But on your own time,

When you feel ready,

You can open your eyes and just allow yourself to flow back into your day when you feel ready.

I'm going to leave the meditation video on for a few more minutes if you want to just sit here and be before you go back into your day.

And you can just check out of Zoom whenever you feel ready.

Wishing everybody a really beautiful,

Peaceful,

Magical day.

Thank you.
