Hey meditators,
Hope that you're all doing so well and enjoying your day or evening so far.
And thank you so much for showing up to this practice and I'm excited to be able to guide you through it.
So to begin for this practice,
Since we're reconnecting to our inner self,
It's important that you just feel comfortable.
So you're welcome to lay down or find a comfortable seat.
And just allow yourself to connect to your breath,
Allowing the breath to be your guide into getting a little bit more cozy,
A little bit more relaxed,
A little bit more calm.
Watching every breath that you take bring you into a more soft space within the body.
And allow yourself to be breathed.
So you're not doing the breathing,
But instead the breath is breathing you.
So your body is being breathed by your breath.
You don't have to do anything at all.
Every single breath you take is supporting you and becoming a bit more soft,
Both in the body and in the mind.
And supporting you to connect to yourself just a little bit more.
And begin to imagine that you are completely relaxed.
Even if you aren't quite there yet,
Imagine what it would feel like if you were.
We all have such powerful imagination,
So this is an opportunity for us to really use them.
And we're going to do a little visualization here.
So if you haven't already closed your eyes,
This would be a great opportunity to close them down.
It's much easier to visualize when our eyes are actually closed.
And I invite you to picture a version of yourself that represents your truest being.
So perhaps this is a little image of you at any age,
Maybe as a child,
Maybe as an adult.
Maybe you're wearing your favorite outfit,
Or maybe you're wearing an outfit or costume that you've never even seen before,
But one that feels really true and right for you right now.
And become very clear of this image of yourself that you're creating in this visualization.
Become very clear about the clothes that you're wearing,
The fabric and the way that it rests on your skin.
Become clear about the way that your face looks.
Know that you are visualizing this very authentic,
True version of yourself.
So what is your authentic and true self look like in the face?
Notice the subtle smile perhaps.
Notice the gaze that rests inside your eyes.
And I just want to remind you that if there's any type of negativity that's approaching here,
It's completely fine.
But what I'm inviting you to do is connect to a visualization of your true self.
And this is with the understanding that our truest nature is simply love.
So if you were to be embodying love fully,
Completely and wholeheartedly,
What would you look like?
Become very,
Very clear of this image.
What would you smell like?
Simply breathe in the scent that you're radiating.
What would you sound like?
See if you can hear your own voice as you embody this divine love.
What do you feel like?
What does your skin feel like in this image as you embody your truest nature?
What does your hair feel like or the top of your head feel like?
Really become clear of who you are in this image.
Notice the impeccable light that's radiating from within you.
Again,
Even if it feels a little bit challenging right now,
Just imagine what it would feel like or what it would look like.
Notice the love and light that you radiate in this image.
Allow yourself to connect to this part of you.
Allow yourself to hold this part of you.
And begin to imagine this little part of you,
This image of you,
This embodiment of love and light in your truest nature,
Your truest self.
Imagine that you hold out your hands and hold the hands of this self that you're seeing.
Allow yourself to reconnect completely with this self,
To know that this self is always there for you,
To hold you,
To guide you,
To ground with you.
And really look into this self's eyes.
Notice all that you see.
Notice the connection that's reigniting and being recreated between the two of you.
Anything that was ever lost is now found again.
Any change or growth that has occurred in your life,
You have been able to move through all of this together.
And take a moment here to honor this part of you,
Perhaps with a hug or bringing your hands into a prayer and bowing your head and saying Namaste,
Perhaps through some sort of secret handshake.
Allow this reconnection to occur.
And take some deep breaths.
Really breathe in all that you've learned in this practice,
All that you've discovered all that you are.
And know that this deepest self,
That your deepest self is simply love.
And feel free to rest here in this delicious space for as long as you'd like.
Or whenever you're ready to come out,
You're welcome to slowly open your eyes at your own time,
Bringing your awareness back into the space.
