In this releasing resistance meditation I will guide you in quieting your mind and settling into your body. This meditation is designed to release any resistance you may be holding on to that isn't serving you in any area of your life. I invite you to give yourself permission to drop down in your body for less than 15 minutes to connect to the innate wisdom and intuitive power that lives within you.

This meditation is designed to promote ease,

Relaxation,

And surrender.

This is designed to put you in a receptive,

Receiving state,

So you remain open to all the beautiful possibilities that are making their way into your life.

Let's begin this meditation by relaxing the body.

In a comfortable space,

With your eyes closed or focused on one focal point in front of you,

Bring your attention to your head.

My head is beginning to relax.

My head is relaxing.

My head is relaxed.

Slowly bringing your focus to your face,

Softening your eyebrows,

Your jaw.

My face is beginning to relax.

My face is relaxing.

My face is relaxed.

Moving to your neck.

My neck is beginning to relax.

My neck is relaxing.

My neck is relaxed.

Bringing your attention to your shoulders,

Gently releasing them,

Just dropping them down.

My shoulders are beginning to relax.

My shoulders are relaxing.

My shoulders are relaxed.

Bringing your attention to the heart center,

To the chest.

My chest is beginning to relax.

My chest is relaxing.

My chest is relaxed.

Bringing this energy down to your belly,

Just relaxing and softening the belly.

My belly is beginning to relax.

My belly is relaxing.

My belly is relaxed.

Bringing your attention to your womb,

To your lower abdomen.

My womb is beginning to relax.

My womb is relaxing.

My womb is relaxed.

Bringing your attention to the hips.

My hips are beginning to relax.

My hips are relaxing.

My hips are relaxed.

Taking it down to your legs with the focus on the thighs.

My thighs are beginning to relax.

My thighs are relaxing.

My thighs are relaxed.

Bringing this now to your calves,

To your shins.

My shins are beginning to relax.

My shins are relaxing.

My shins are relaxed.

Bringing your attention to the ankles.

My ankles are beginning to relax.

My ankles are relaxing.

My ankles are relaxed.

Taking it to the foot,

The top of the foot,

The sole of the foot,

Even your toes,

And just feel into the whole foot,

Beginning to relax.

My feet are beginning to relax.

My feet are relaxing.

My feet are relaxed.

And we'll just take a moment here for you just to do a little scan of your body and pause for about 20 seconds as you send a little breath to any part of your body asking for a little bit more relaxation and softening.

Just take a moment here to send breath and opening to that area.

And from here,

I want you to envision yourself in a beautiful space in nature.

Maybe it's at the beach.

Maybe it's in a forest on a beautiful hike.

Maybe you're near water,

Near the mountains.

Just put yourself in an environment that feels really expansive and soothing to you.

Maybe it's somewhere you've been before or somewhere that you've always wanted to go.

See yourself in this beautiful space of relaxation,

Of ease,

Of joy,

Of surrender,

And begin to see yourself just taking this walk,

Engaging the senses.

What do you see around you,

Paying attention to the colors,

To the movement,

To the textures?

What do you smell?

Maybe it's the sun,

The smell of water.

Maybe it's just the fresh air around you,

Maybe a little salt in the air,

Maybe flowers.

Just take a moment to lean into what you smell.

And from here,

What do you taste?

Maybe it's nothing.

Maybe it's some fresh water.

Maybe it's just a crisp,

Distinct,

Clean air.

Just take a moment to lean into what you taste.

And now,

What do you touch?

Perhaps it's sand.

Perhaps it's a tree.

Perhaps it's water.

Just allow yourself to just feel into the sensation and how soothing it feels to direct your full attention to the sensation.

And what do you hear?

Maybe it's birds.

Maybe it's critters,

Wildlife,

Waves,

The sound of children playing.

It can be anything,

Anything that feels intuitive for you.

And let yourself take that in as you give yourself more and more permission to be here in this moment,

Relaxing the body and the mind,

Opening up a higher wisdom and intuition that lives within.

And as you continue your beautiful walk,

You open up to this beautiful light.

You just see yourself in this light,

The gorgeous healing powers of this light just washing all over you from head to toe,

And just feeling this radiate and bring such joy and sensation.

Take a moment and just let this beautiful light wash all over you as you connect to this feeling of deep ease and possibility within you.

Feeling so safe to surrender,

To let go,

To release any resistance that you're holding.

Connect to this deep peace that lives inside of you.

Nowhere else to go,

Nowhere else to be in this moment.

Taking a deep inhale,

Expanding the breath throughout your belly,

And a deep exhale as you gently draw the belly in.

Doing this three more times.

Inhaling something you need,

Laughs,

Exhaling worry.

Inhaling abundance,

Exhaling lack.

Inhaling faith,

Exhaling fear.

From here,

Just bringing some awareness to your fingers and your toes,

Maybe a gentle movement.

Take one more deep inhale and deep exhale.

Feel this gratitude,

This sense of calm and ease,

Of release that you've cultivated within your body.

And when you're ready,

Opening your eyes and feeling more calm,

More centered,

More trust and faith in yourself than ever before.
