Hello everyone,

My name is Jen.

Today's meditation is all about connecting with our inner compass.

I invite you to begin by finding a nice comfortable position.

You can be lying down the entire time,

You can be seated.

Just trust your body,

Trust yourself.

And once you find this position,

Just begin to relax the body.

And just soften down,

Soften into it.

Notice any points of tension,

Perhaps in your shoulders or your back.

And consciously release,

Just a little bit.

Release a little bit of pressure.

Allowing your breath to deepen,

Allowing the exhales to help with this release.

Nice deep inhales through the nose,

Exhale through the nose or mouth.

Now allow the focus to drop down into the body,

Moving away from pure conscious thought,

And moving into the body wisdom,

The deeper wisdom within.

We're going to bring all of our attention to the third eye area.

So this point just between the eyebrows,

With the eyes closed,

Allow the inner gaze to find this point up and in.

And just breathe into it.

Across many different practices,

This point is associated with intuition,

Our deeper knowing,

Our life mission.

See if you can breathe a little deeper as you focus here.

Release any sensation.

You may feel a gentle pulse.

You may feel a slight strain or a tingling.

Or just the struggle to focus is fine,

Just focus.

Give yourself this opportunity to try.

We spend so much time with our attention divided between different tasks,

With time and pressure to fulfill and get things done and check boxes.

But right now in this moment,

Just focus on this one point like a laser,

Continuing to breathe,

Keeping that gaze up and in.

Starting from this place of intuition,

I invite you to pose a question.

What is my next step?

Don't focus on an answer.

Something may come,

Something may not.

It's fine either way.

Take one more breath here,

Focusing on the third eye area.

And then we'll bring all of our focus down to the heart space.

Really feel into the heart.

The inner gaze is looking down,

Connecting.

You may even want to gently bring a hand to your heart.

Tuning in to the rhythm,

Electrical current.

Breathing into the heart space.

Honoring the heart space.

Trying to question what is my next step?

Focusing on the heart.

Release any expectations and just focus here.

Feel the rhythm.

Sending gratitude.

Then release your hand.

Release your focus on the heart and bring your attention down to the navel,

Just below the belly button.

Feel the belly soft.

The breath expanding and releasing.

Focus on your core,

Your center of strength,

Fortitude,

Discipline,

Your courage.

And from a place of softness,

From a place of receptivity and no expectation,

Simply ask,

What is my next step?

Notice any sensation in the belly.

You may even want to bring your hand to the belly.

Just feeling it rise and fall.

Gently release the hand.

Take a nice deep inhale and release the breath through the mouth.

Feel into these three centers.

Sending gratitude for any answers that came or any answers that will come over the next day or days or weeks.

And trust yourself to be open,

To listen,

To observe and trust your inner wisdom.

Now you are free to continue to meditate from here or even to drift off into sleep.

But if you'd like to come back to your room,

Just gently wiggle your fingers and thumbs and at your own pace,

Open your eyes and look around the room.

Maybe allow a gentle smile to cross your face and give yourself a moment before going on with the rest of your day or evening.

Thank you so much for meditating with me.
