Hello and welcome.

Today's breath practice is wonderful when you need a little jolt of energy,

A little bit of clarity and just want to sort of reset for the day.

So this is good to do in the morning or midday when you're feeling just a little sluggish or after lunch.

So wherever you're at get comfortable.

Trust that we're only here for a few moments so you can get back to your day or get started with your day in no time at all.

So just give yourself this time to dedicate fully,

Allow the eyes to close,

Sit up really tall,

Soften the shoulders down,

Allow the hands to rest on the thighs,

Palms up.

Take a moment to set any intention you'd like to set for this practice.

This breath practice is going to be a four-part segmented breath in through the nose.

So it's all inhale for that four count.

We're not inhaling and exhaling but just inhaling to the count of four.

And then on the exhale we're exhaling in one long slow release and then coming back in and exhaling completely from the navel point out through the nose.

So let's begin.

We're going to do 10 full rounds of this and we're going to find a little boost of energy.

Again sitting tall,

Palms up in a receptive position and let's go together.

Inhale two,

Three,

Four,

Exhale.

Just a few more.

Keep going at your own pace.

Four in,

One out.

For the last few rounds as you inhale really expand through the belly.

Let the belly really take in the breath.

Expand through the lungs and as you exhale let it be complete.

Pulling the navel in slightly.

Still sitting tall.

Breathing with focus and rhythm.

Wherever you're at finish your round and take one more full round.

And after that take a nice deep inhale.

Really deep fill the body.

Fill it completely.

Take a little sip of air in through the mouth.

Hold and gently exhale.

Blink the eyes open.

Allow a smile to cross your face.

And just take a moment to look around the room to notice how you feel.

Find a little movement.

Shrug your shoulders up and down a few times and I wish you a beautiful day,

A beautiful rest of your day,

A beautiful event or whatever you have ahead of you.

Wishing you all good things.

Thank you for practicing with me.
