Let's begin by finding a comfortable seat.
Sit tall with your chin tucked in slightly so the back of the neck is long.
The entire spine is long.
You may be seated in a chair,
Cross-legged on the floor,
So long as you're sitting tall to optimize the breath.
And we'll begin to breathe in a little bit slower to a count of four,
Really filling the body,
And then exhaling to a count of six,
Slowly,
Intentionally.
Take a few rounds like this.
Inhale count of four,
And exhale.
Inhale,
And exhale.
Inhale,
And exhale.
Last time,
Inhale to four,
Exhale to six.
And then allow your breath to go back to its normal cadence.
Your eyes are closed,
Just meditate.
Coming into the present moment,
Preparing to receive and focus on the affirmations.
