Hello,

Welcome.

Today we are going to do a full moon practice and this is a meditation.

So go ahead and find a comfortable position for you.

You can sit with a nice tall spine or you can even lie down.

So with the full moon energy,

We have an opportunity to let go of what is no longer serving us.

It's an excellent time to do an honest inventory of where we're at in our lives and truly what it is that we are ready to let go of,

Where we are ready to make space.

So just as we set intentions at the new moon time,

During the full moon it can be very beneficial to clear space and that clearing will continue as the moon begins to wane.

So with that in mind,

Getting comfortable,

We're just going to allow the body to truly settle down,

And bringing all conscious thought down into the body and feeling the muscles soften,

Doing a scan from the crown of the head,

Down the head,

The face,

The front and back and sides of the neck,

Down the shoulders and arms,

The torso,

The belly,

The pelvis,

The legs,

The ankles and feet,

Feeling the totality of your body really softening,

Allowing points of tension,

Acknowledgement and release.

We are creating softness in the body,

Going to a place where we can just feel very honest as we do an inventory on the way that we're feeling.

Just ask yourself this simple question,

What am I ready to release?

You may find that a belief system or a thought comes up,

You may want to release something more tangible,

An actual item that you're ready to let go of,

Or you may want to release a sense of tension or worry.

Whatever it is that you've been holding on to,

That you've been gripping,

I invite you to just imagine yourself gently releasing this grip,

Allowing what it is that you're ready to let go of,

To release,

To separate itself itself from your body,

Floating off into the distance like a big balloon,

And then coming back to the breath and the softness of the body.

I invite you to ask the same question,

What am I ready to let go of,

To release?

And really give yourself a moment to think,

Trusting,

And the truest answer will arrive.

Again,

It may be an emotion,

It may be a thought that you know is not serving you,

It may be an action that you know is not serving you.

We're peeling back a layer here,

So something a little bit more sensitive may come up.

Just allow,

What am I ready to let go of?

Feel that item,

That emotion,

That thought,

That thing,

Feel it separating from the body,

Pulling out and away from the body,

And then floating up,

Up,

And away like a balloon,

Watching it go,

Watching it get smaller,

Watching until you cannot see it anymore.

And come back to the body,

Come back to the softness,

And we'll do this a final time,

Breathing and asking yourself,

What am I ready to release?

What am I ready to let go of?

Allowing whatever surfaces to come.

Some of what we may need to release may come up twice or come up in a slightly different form,

And this is absolutely fine.

Just allow whatever answer to come as organically and honestly as possible.

And give yourself permission to release,

Feeling this thing separate from the body,

This thought or action,

This emotion or person,

Whatever it is,

Feel it separating from your body,

From your existence,

From your existence,

And then allow it to float up and away,

A big balloon growing smaller and smaller as it moves away from you,

Saying goodbye,

Releasing with grace,

And watching as it gets so small that you can hardly see it.

And then,

Just like that,

You can't,

Coming back to the body,

Back to the breath,

Feel the softness of the body,

Feel the release in the body,

The lightness in the body.

Just breathe and feel,

Feel the release,

Allowing your energy to reset so that you can reorient your life,

You can refocus on the things that will better serve you as you move forward.

Breathe and relish in this lightness,

This release,

And then take a nice deep inhale,

Deep inhale,

Really fill the body.

And as you exhale,

Gently blink the eyes open,

Take in the light of the room.

And what I invite you to do next as part of this practice is to journal openly about what it is that came up for you,

What you are intending to release,

And bring up anything that comes around this,

Any concerns or worries or symbolism.

Sometimes the things we need to release come up as symbols,

Or they don't make as much sense as we'd like them to.

And if this is the case,

Writing can help.

So just journal honestly and know that even just setting this intention to release and reset is putting things in motion.

And this is all for our highest good.

The full moon is a powerful time to take stock of where we can truly reset and repurpose our lives.

I hope you enjoyed this practice.

I invite you to make this a regular practice as it leads to positive changes in your life as you tap deeper and deeper into your highest wisdom.

Wishing you well,

Wishing you all good things.

Thank you for practicing with me.
