And we're going to work with the dantians today,
The dantians are energy centers.
And we're going to start by bringing all of our attention to the lower belly area,
Just below the navel point at the very center of the body,
Being open to the idea that this place in your body is where we store our energy,
Everything that fuels us,
Everything that helps us to move efficiently and effectively,
The midpoint of our body.
So just breathe into this area or imagine the breath moving here,
Allowing the belly to expand a little bit more,
Side body and back body expand a little bit more.
And then bring your attention up to the heart,
The middle dantian.
This is our connection,
Our communication,
Our ability to give and receive.
Focus on the heart,
Connect with the heartbeat,
Its divine rhythm,
And breathe into the heart.
Feel that heart resonance,
That heart energy.
See if you can direct the breath here,
As though you can just light this area up and empowering it.
Then bring your attention up to the very center of your head,
Center of your brain,
Behind the third eye area.
And focus here on your intuition,
Your ability to trust yourself,
Your ability to trust your place in this world,
In this universe.
Breathe and focus on the very center of the brain.
And if you can,
Just imagine this area lighting up,
Direct the breath here.
And for a moment,
Hold the focus on this upper dantian at the center of the head,
The middle dantian at the heart,
And the lower dantian just below the navel point at the center of the body.
And feel all three energy centers expanding,
Growing bright.
Take a nice deep breath in.
Slowly exhale through the mouth,
And as you do,
Start to feel this energy moving through the body,
All the way through the body,
Dispersing to every part of the body,
Down the legs,
All the way to the feet,
The toes,
All the way up to the very crown of the head,
The tops of the shoulders,
Down the arms,
To the fingertips.
Just feel this energy dispersing,
And feel the balance of this,
The balance of the store,
The energy center,
The connection with the world around us,
And the self-trust,
The trust that we are here,
And we are exactly where we need to be.
Now using the energy of this practice,
This qigong practice,
I want you to,
With your eyes closed,
Just trust completely,
And begin to just gently let the body sway right to left.
And as you sway right to left,
I want you to imagine this energy dispersing even more,
Moving up the spine,
Down the front of the body,
Down the limbs,
Maybe even expanding all around the body,
As you just gently sway from the hips,
Really slow,
Really soft,
Little bit of movement in the head,
Little bit of movement side to side,
And see if you can just let go,
And feel this energy just flowing through the body.
We're creating a sense of flow,
A sense of being here,
Being present,
Being in our power in a balanced way.
Now go ahead and make this movement as small as it is,
Just a little bit smaller,
And then just a little bit smaller still,
Until you're sitting straight and tall again,
Really proud,
And notice how your body feels.
Beautiful.
Now take a nice deep inhale,
Let that belly expand with the breath,
Back body expand,
And exhale through the nose or mouth.
Two more like that,
Inhale through the nose,
And exhale through the nose or mouth.
Last time.
And on the final time,
Blink your eyes open when you're ready,
Take in the light of the room.
Just take a moment to reorient to your day.
